The slim seductress padded forward and she did not need to look behind her to know her hulking companion stalked faithfully behind. Cool emerald pools surveyed the terra before them attempting to pick out the best route for them to go. Her features no longer smooth but wrinkled in agitation. Damn this thrice accursed desert. It panned out for miles in either direction and she was getting sorely tired of the leering sun. A discontented rumble issued through her body and turning back to her companion she frowned. "Where is this damned water that the old rogue spoke of?!" She snapped indignantly at him. It was not his fault but then again Hera never made that distinction anymore. They had found some reprieve in some desolate trees that clung to life by their deep seated roots. Now that they were at the end of the sparse forest her patience was waning.

Stalking closer to the bru she struck out with her paw, smacking him across the muzzle. "Go do something useful like get us some food!" She spat and growling turned from him. Aud flicked when there was a small whine from his muzzle. She knew that he didn't like it when she lashed out at him like that. Taking a breath she smoothed out her features and turning back towards him, passion in her hues and stepped closer.

"I'm sorry love, I grow weary from the sand in my pads." Stepping forward she rubbed herself along his body, nipping at the base of his tail and coming back around to his chest and nuzzling his neck. She dragged her tounge along his throat up to his cheek and whispered seductively. "Now, it would be most pleasant if you were to bring something for us to dine on. Wouldn't it brother?"

Zeus

Ever faithful, he had been since the start. She had always been there, always known him...there was no other. He lived to make her happy. He lived to bury his nose in her coat and sleep curled around her at night. He followed along watching her slim form, her curves, the way her tail bounced as she walked in this foresaken place. He could tell she was getting frustrated. His ears flicked back knowing her temper. And it had come as a sharp smack across his maw. It was sharp and sliced, blood trickled down upon the hungry sands. He hated seeing her upset and he let a whine escape his maw.

She wanted food and water. In this desolate landscape it was hard to find either. Those damned lying roughes. He thought as her harsh tones came to his ears. He hated it when she was angry, all he wanted was for her to be happy and for them to be alone and in love where no one would scorn them for their birhright. Just as soon as the firey demoness left the temptress came. He put up the abuse for this. Passion in her hues that he repsonded to. It caused a thickening in his groin. One that desired her and her teeth along the base of his tail made him shudder. Her toungue caressing his throat made him groan and he absorbed her whispered words. The promise in them he would do anything for. "Of course Sister. I shall find you something to quench your thirst on. Then maybe you will quench mine?" He nipped her neck and rubbed his body along hers stopping only a second to inhale her sweet scent by her tail. The perfume made him salivate and he clicked his teeth in anticpation before he trotted off along the sand.

Barren waste. That is what this place was. But if it meant they got to stay together he would live in hell to be in paradise with her. The others, they didn't understand. Father and Mother didn't. They lashed out in anger and horror. They were going to seperate them. Zeus wouldn't have that and Hera came up with the plan. His thoughts in midst of the past he almost missed it. A dessert hare in the shade of a clump of sage. He kept walking like he missed it and circled around behind the skinny creature. It saw him and bolted but a little too late. The crimson that spilled on Zeus's tongue was delightful but he restrained his hunger for his beloved awaited.

Quickly he padded back to where he left her, in the shade of some scrub trees. He lay his prize at Hera's feet. "For you Sister." his baritone said and he looked at her with hungry eyes.

Hera

As always he came and groveled at her feet. She delighted in the shivers that shot down his spine, she could see the trembling in his body and how he desired her so. No, certainly there were none that would understand them. Just like a faithful servant he left her to get some food. Finding some of the same trees that cast a meager shadow she stretched herself out to cool off and awaited his return. Twinkling hues surveyed everything before her calculating their next move. Zues was not a future planner, he lived more in the moment but she had to think ahead and plan for them. They needed their own territory, they needed a pack. But who? Who would not cast them out like so many others? How she would love to taste the crimson of those hateful harlots and devils!

Soon enough her brother had returned and brought with him a rabbit. "It is...adequate." Rising she pinned the carcass down with her foot and tore into it with her teeth, purposefully mangaling the dead creature, perhaps she could get Zues into a little bit of a frenzy How she loved to get him riled up. Swallowing the meat there was some left and flashing her gaze up at him while the left over dangled from her mouth she tossed it his way anticipating the sharp crack of his jowls when he ate. Eyes lingered over his brawny form and rested on his face.

Zeus

He stood and watched as she rose and commented on the kill. He held no resentments to her comments, that was just how Hera was. A Queen and she deserved to be treated like one. He watched with delight as she tore into the gift he brought her. The blood and the crunching bones set his hackles up and he licked his ivories in anticipation of her possible sharing. Would she show him favor? His belly grew tight and he started to salivate. Not just for the meager fare that Hera was dining on, he wanted her. He wanted her now. Yellow eyes caught her motion of flinging the remains his way. He caught the scraps with a loud clapping of his jaws and went into tearing it to bits. Hide, bone, and all. But his eyes never left her and he didn't hide the hunger that was there, the way he caressed her form with a single look.

Licking the blood and hair from his jaws he pressed forward to her. Licking her under the chin as you would an alphess. She was his alphess, his queen. He clicked his teeth together savoring her scent. His body was stiff with want and he wanted to feel himself pressed against her. Would she oblige? Zeus hoped so.

Hera

Keeping her gaze locked with him all along her body her fur tingled with delight. How she loved the powerful crunch and snap of his jowls. The ripple of his muscles on his coat. And when he was finished he came to her and it pleased her how he nipped at her chin. Yes, so powerful but so at her beck and call. Life was good. The sharp increase in the atmosphere alerted her to the heightened level of want and cutting herself off from the feeling she stepped away from her brother. "Come we have a long way to travel." Then she began to stalk forward again knowing that he would follow. Such a nice feeling.

Let them call the us unnatural. We'll show them! Who are they to say what is right? Who can love whom? Shoulders muscles tightened in momentary anger but she quickly shook it off. No matter, they were gone from there and perhaps they would find someone here who would understand. They would have to! It was only her mother and father who were so dense...and the rest of their pack. "Zues, is there somewhere or something that you would like to see?" She stated softly as she headed into the unknown. Trees lurked on the horizon. Mountains on another, a plain of grass on another...and what was that? A hint of salty water on another direction...

Zeus

His eyes flashed with raw lust as she stepped away and his body quivered as he regained control. He would not take her if she didn't want it but it was hard to control the beast within sometimes. He nodded and looked away from her for a moment as if the very sight of her would make him loose all control but at the same time it was the sight of her that controled him. He looked back with yellow eyes and smiled. He walked a fine line for her...it was all for her.

They walked on and he watched as her shoulders tightened. He quickened his pace to walk beside her and touched her shoulder lightly, as to say "It's okay...I love you." Her question rang in his ears and a smile bloomed across his face. She would get the message of what he really wanted to see...which was himself upon her back. But he figured she wasn't in the mood to hear him say so. He looked into the four directions inhaled deeply. The darkness of the mountains called but he was also curious of the sea. They had never seen the ocean before.

His maw parted and he said in his deep baritone "The mountains would be ideal to reside for winter on. They would provide game and shelter in the trees....we know what mountains are like. But we both have never seen the sea. I smell salt water and mo...." Zeus almost said mother told him of it once but he stopped. They had no mother anymore. All they had was eachother. "I was told that the sea is made up of salt water and is the biggest piece of water that could ever see. " He came up and licked her cheek as if in apology for almost saying that bitch's calling. The one who was most appalled at their love.

Zeus cold almost hear her screaming at them vile words as if what they were doing was unnatural. Zeus found it the most natural thing in the world. "Sick Sick whelps. Get away from her. Evil, sinful creatures. It's wrong...WRONG!" he remembered hearing her yell. "Tainted whore! Get away from him! What the hell do you think you are doing? There are plenty of males in this very pack who would caress your hind end and yet you choose your brother! Evil Temptress!" Those were the words that brought the pack down upon them. Zeus's eyes grew dark at the thought and a low growl escaped his throat unknowingly. Father was going to let the other males rape Hera to teach her a lesson. Zeus fought and that is when they left...his last words to the pack were "SHE IS MINE!"

Hera

She appreciated his touch and a light smile came to her lips. He knew and understood what it was like. They both shared the same feelings and were condemned for it. Nodding her head when he spoke she too was curious about the sea. Though the mountains looked more...familiar. Again her muscles tightened up as he almost mentioned their mother but caught himself still the damaged had been done though he was quick to apologize with a small affectionate gesture. Relaxing again she looked him in the eye and knew where his thoughts had led him.

Hera could almost see the scenes from their pasts playing out his his eyes for she relived them daily. How their family pack had wronged them! It was enough to make her want to lash out at everyone and everything. Turning from the mountains that would only remind her of their pack she planted herself in the direction that would take them to the legendary body of water. Once she had smelled the air but never had she seen it.[b]"Let us go then brother, to the sea."[b/] Picking up her pace she headed in that direction. Wondering if they were to meet any on the way...

Hera

She padded along silently, her tail in the air like the alphess she felt she was. She smiled at her brother and how he worshiped her. It made her feel like she had a power no other fem had. What other fems could say they were so lovely that they enraptured their own kin. She flicked her tail and continued to walk toward the smell of salt on the air. Then Hera's thoughts turned dark. How dare her family scorn her for their love...who did they think they were telling Hera whom she could love and whom she couldn't. Her lip lifted in a silent snarl and she glanced over at her brother and let it fall. He would think she was mad at him. She flicked at ear at him to reassure him and stopped to scent the air. Surely there are other wolven out here as well, she was suprised they hadn't come across them as of yet.
