| How likely, to find another so inclined to converse in such an unnatural way. What would come of two wolves, set upon the cold desert, meeting in such hostile conditions. Anger would seize the bruja that saw another in his way, a clash of blood and snow would end the tell. And once more, the ravens and other bottom feeders would surround a dead corpse and feed. Fortunately for both parties, there was a mutual...thought process. It had already been hours into the night, and the two hessians spoke on about nothing. One of them was pitch as the night, but when the moon radiated on it there was a blue to it. Rich and thick, from nares to his whipcord.
Zaiaku found himself in the company of a wolf whose body was intent on death. Muttled black, the roots greying lightly, with patches of grey and white. His frame wasn't much more to look at, his ribs showed lightly, frail and blowing with the wind. A perpetual weight and gravity seemed to pull his crania down, and he spoke in a multitude of maniacal and monotonous tones. But they shared common ground, and though it sounded broken and confusing, both parties understood with clarity. Disputing thoughts were settled with cases made for both, and typically ended with no blood shed. It seemed they would go on for a few more hours, before Svadilfari explained his presence.
Zaiaku knew secrets were kept, there were things his companion intentionally left out. Though, there seemed to be an unvoiced agreement, and in time he would learn. Still, a rare event for him to find another who he could converse with so freely. "The mountains, we'll go there." He had never visit Akiko's sister, but that was the best place for what they needed. "We await my kin first." Svadilfari rose his jowls, the call was eerie and haunting, specific for four pairs of auds.

| The song that rose in the air was of far away, long ago; not a jingle, not a chant, not a lullaby. Eerie and forgotten, completely foreign to the lands of Fire and Ice. Just beyond the country's borders, the haunting tune reached into the shadows and pulled something out. It pulled this something over the edge and into the cold, cold desert, beneath the full moon. She moved slowly, eyes closed, paws dancing to the song as it clung to the winter wind, swirling and spiraling in the night. Finally, she found herself upon a crest with two brujos; one, who she recognized from her own lands, and the other, she knew nothing of.
"Aaahhhhhh!" she squealed, grinning, yellow eyes popping open when the song was over. She was old, not as old as Svad, but black fur spiderwebbed grey clung to nothing but her bones, her smile crinkling her the corners of her eyes and overtaking her entire face. "Vhat a handsome brujeria," she cooed, lanterns landing on Zaiku, whipcord swinging around her skeletal hips, seductive. She was in season, afterall, and she was always looking for a new male. She turned back to Svad and frowned. "But zat is not why you called..." She frowned and sat back on her haunches, disappointed, but raised her eyebrows at Zai, wiggling her shoulders and puffing her chest; a move that, in her youth, would have made most males faint with pleasure.
She paused, mouth agape, as she realized what this could possibly mean... Oh, it could mean so much! A sick cackle escaped her maw at this epiphany, an adrenaline rushing through her, like she had felt in years, ages, even. This was going to be far more entertaining that chasing tails...

| Between wolves, the howls are unique and come through as a personal song. It could be to request a presence, or to warn of danger. There were different tones for some wolves, some unreachable levels that can be beautiful. What carried on the wind was a haunting melody, some song unlike anything Zai had heard. Svad was every bit the foreigner he was led to believe, and Zaiaku continued to be entertained simply by Svad's presence. It wasn't hard to guess his fate, before him was an ancient hessian with such alike a mind that Zai was sure Svad was his future. "Sometimes, it is an appropriate response to reality to go insane." Rich emeralds fell on the younger bruja. Those stone occulars seemed to be the only fully functioning parts Svadilfari had left, they kept their colour despite the rest of his frame, which seemed to be in a constant state of decay.
"Sanity, and clarity, arise from insanity." Zaiaku replied, and the two shared a smirk. Sitting upon the terra, the silence settled as the pair aimlessly starred at each other, or the infinite sky above. Words were not always needed for a dialogue, and so not but the wind in the trees made a sound. Torn from the thoughts of anything but the present, the ocean and the gemstones wased over the frame of a vix who had come upon them. The relation was seen, if only by associating age, even if it was hard to guess either one of them. Zaiaku let his hues wander, in what could be called youthful vigor. He remained as still as Svad, but where as the elder averted his gaze, Zai watched intently.
"Fair as ever, M'Lady." Zai bow lightly, a charming smirk creasing his jowls. There was something to be said about a wanting fae, so rare to find a vixen who could play with the affairs of the heart. Although, it was clear that her season was now, her actions said as much. "When she thought she couldn't be more alone, the world pulled back another layer of darkness." Svadilfari wheezed out, his voice straining. It was perhaps meaningless, but then Svad rarely recalled his words, let alone the meaning behind them. "Thanasis was not with you." He began to speak more to himself, emeralds downcast and a few muttering words spilled forth. Zaiaku slipped past the future him, and stood before Anastasiya." My dear, does this party get bigger?" Zaiaku poured charm, a switch that he could flick at any time. A howl broke before his next words, once more that eerie tune flew with the wind. Ocean hues flickedbriefly back to Svad, before returning to Ana. "Ah, forgive me, I am Zaiaku." The hessian bowed again, the flirtatious smirk returning.

| Bones crunched and flesh ripped as yellowed teeth snapped down, paws holding the body steady while the elder ripped a large chunk from his prey. Saliva flooded his parched mouth as blood hit his tongue, but he hardly took the time to savour the morsel. It had been some time since a decent meal had been acquired; if not for his younger companion, his thin belly would still pang with hunger. As he tore at the flesh ravenously, he glanced up from the blood-stained bird he was devouring. The other male ate his own meal less desperately, his lean muscles flexing under a cream-coloured pelt, face masked in black. The sudden rise of a haunting tune floated through the air, catching his attention. Lifting his head for a moment in interest, Thanasis took a breath. Blood dripped slowly from his maw. So, the time for them to come together again had finally arrived. Licking his lips, he turned and grinned at Ehrgeiz with a glint in his eyes. Excitement flooded his body, but not strong enough to drag him from his prey. The younger had finished with his meal and seemed anxious to get moving, but Thano continued tearing apart the bird that had been placed before him. "It's been so long, it can wait a little longer," he said with a slight chuckle, amused by the younger wolf's impatience. At last, done with his meal, he stretched his stiff limbs lazily, yawning and taking his time. There was no need to rush. He heard a snort from the other, and closed his eyes, grinning widely. "You can't rush these old bones, even if you tried," he said, flicking his tail before giving his pelt a big shake, stumbling and nearly knocking himself off his weary legs, "See?" He chuckled again, then nodded his head and set off, heading instinctively in the direction he knew they would be. The other followed quietly, on a mission of his own, his good eye full with dark intent and hatred. Thano ignored his moodiness and moved on in a cheery manner, commenting on the environment as they passed by, making light of their situation. At last, the woods and undergrowth gave way to a barren landscape, the chilling breeze cutting through his scraggly pelt. He gritted his teeth in annoyance, trying to shake off the cold. There was no cover from the weather here. Why meet in such a place? Wasn't there somewhere better than this? Leave it to Svadilfari to summon them in a place such as this. He grunted, curling a lip in annoyance before resuming his optimistic persona, his ears perked and visage bright and expressive. At last he could see his comrades, their sharp-edged, scruffy sillouhettes easily recognizable against the harsh silver moonlight. He snickered, wondering how long they'd waited. Perhaps they'd just arrived, themselves. He lumbered over to the small group, wondering who the large, mid-aged drake was that accompanied them. Glancing over his shoulder just briefly, he saw Ehrgeiz trailing behind restlessly. "Well, we're here," he called out, seeing a mixture of relief and greater anxiety flash over the hessian's face. He knew that the young brute would be bored with their business, and would be itching to find what Thano had assured him would be in these lands. Of course, neither would know where to start looking; perhaps chance would bring Ehrgeiz to his destination. Ignoring the younger now, he looked to his comrades, eyes gracing over Anastasiya's withered form. But the way she moved, the scent that wreathed from her... nothing had changed, really. He smirked to her, nodding his head in greeting. "Ana, you vixen, you haven't aged a day," he said coyly, waving his tail with a pleased blink. Reluctantly, he turned away from her, briefly casting a glance over Zaiaku. His expression impassive, only a glimmer of calculating interest sparked in his amber pools before his gaze shifted from the large hessian. He was more interested in greeting those who were familiar to him. He looked to Svad now. Seeing the same, distant and crazed look in the cryptic elder's eyes, Thano grinned, glad to see that nothing had changed with these wolves. Perhaps they'd all aged just a little; perhaps more than a little. They were like antiques from their own era. But that didn't matter. "Well, brother, we're all here now," he said, cocking his head slightly, "Where's our destination?" He was curious to know what or who was first on the list. The time had come... | |

| The handsome hessian came towards her, complimenting her, and her smirk grew ever wider on her black-stained lips. She loved the way his muscles rolled beneath his midnight pelt in the moonlight, his dazzling ocean hues, his dark and equally seductive charm. She wondered if he had a mate, but at the same time, didn't care. She quietly purred when he came near, her tassel reaching out towards his body, but not touching it just yet. If he truly wanted her, she would test him, teasing him. "Vy, of course zer is more, Mister Zaiku," she replied to him with a chuckle. "But none, I'm afraid, are as handsome as you." She glanced to the sky above as Svad released a second call. "Thanasis vill be here soon," was all she could reply, yellow lanterns back on Zaiku. "Tell me," she said in a tone just above a whisper. "Does such a handsome drake as yourself have... a mate?"
At the end of her question, there was movement out of the corner of her eye, though it was filmed over with cataracts. It was Thanasis, along with a younger brute. A much younger brute. The same smile danced on the old vixen's lips. She batted her eyelashes at Thano's comment. "And you are still quite ze charmer, Thano," she replied, her attention straying from Zaiku to greet the familiar face. She now turned both him and Svad, though she did wonder about the hessian that Thano had brought with him. "'Lo, boys. It has been too long since we of the far west have gathered," she said, a slight cackle leaking her lips again. She was excited to see them both, and even more excited for what Svad had in mind. They hadn't seen one another in ages, but when they did, it was always for something thrilling. She glanced at Zaiku. She hoped he would be in on this too.

| Symmetry, and the shapes it produced, amongst other pathways. Emerald hues bore into the terra at the rate of fleeing prey, layer upon layer till the heat of the core rose in him. Svadilfari cackled lightly, his form bent and the muttering words were barely above audible. The ancient was separate from the gathering, lost in the abyss of mind. But his body, grounded on earth, still picked up information. No thought strayed, but his frame flinched with the movement and lyrics of the others. Whipcord lashed the cold ground when Zaiaku moved past him, to converse with Ana. Beyond that, the rise of fur was the only indication that Svad was still present.
The pitch hessian let his ocean hues wander over Ana once more, then averting past the fae. Her words brought his attention back, the attention was mutual. Though, much as it was for the joker, he saw only more pleasure. It was a natural drive, any bruja knew as much. His lineage continued in other lands, but still he had yet to spawn devils in FnI. There were more pressing matters, however, and he could take what he pleased in due time. This was a game, a play that the joker could act in with glee. His thoughts vanished at her unanswered question, and he watched two more wolves appear. A mate. Such a curious question to be bothered by, and in a moment he banished all thoughts.
His hues fell on the second drake, much younger than his companion. Oceans studied for something that felt familiar, but he found distraction first. Turning his attention on the three ancient wolves gathered, Svad had not fully explained everything. And he was sure the hessian wouldn't. Svadilfari smirked and raised his crania, occulars falling on Thano's companion first, lingering for a few moments before straying to the other. "The first step to getting somewhere.." A deep cough cut him off, and for a few seconds Svad convulsed. "Is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are." Svad cackled briefly, and then proceeded to scratch his left ear.
"I'll lead you to Muerta, the mountains will hide you best. And Akira is a ruthless leader I hear." It was Zaiaku who spoke, sapphires catching Thanasis. "Blood for Fenrir, Life cannot exist without Death. Thanasis, Anastasiya, he thirsts and these wolves can provide." Svadilfari spoke in their old language, letting his green hues fall on both of them. "In your prints we follow." His last words were directed at Zai, and rose from the terra as though it hurt to part. Zaiaku dismissed the odd language that had come from Svad, and turned his attention once more on the cream coloured hessian, lingering again before shifting away. The midnight pelted bruja began the distant trek to the mountains, barely visible through the falling snow.

| Thanasis grinned to Ana as she batted her lashes and bantered back at him. He saw her eyes flicker from him over to the brute he'd brought along with him, and knew what she was thinking. She always had an eye out for new males of interest, which made him chuckle with amusement. Some things never changed. She spoke again, her attention drawn away from the young brutes and focused on her older companions now. Thano nodded with a grunt of approval. It had been a little too long since they'd scoured new lands together. His old, cricked tail swayed, and he looked to Svad as the decrepit old wolf finally lifted his head to look upon he and his younger companion. Then, he spoke, a rough cough convulsing through his body; Thano wondered how the brute could still cling to life in his condition, nevermind standing. Of course, he knew the reason why, and the thought caused a smirk to crease his maw. Ehgreiz stood in the background of things, watching as the small group came together, the senior wolves congregating and enjoying their little reunion. He snorted in disinterest. Each one of them was so old they looked like they might soon fall apart, but he stayed for their wisdom, and for their ominous presence and secrets they held. Something would come of this soon enough, he was sure. He just had to wait. But for how much longer? he wondered impatiently. He noticed as another drake, large and unfamiliar, glanced him over with a studying gaze. Ehrgeiz met him with a singular sapphire occular. Then the drake's attention was diverted to the elderly trio. But Ehrgeiz was glad to see that there was a brute around his age in this group. Well, not quite his age, but at least the midnight hessian was not a walking corpse. Watching disinterestedly, he kneaded his claws into the ground, wondering when they would be moving again. As a voice cut through the air, Thano perked toward it, facing Zaiaku. So, he knew the perfect place to go, did he? Sapphire orbs seemed to be watching him already. The elder glowed with interest, limping toward the younger male. "A ruthless leader, you say?" he crowed with a grin upon maw, "That should make it nice and easy for us." He stopped speaking as Svad's rattling voice came again, this time reciting an ancient incantation, speaking in their old language. It sent a shiver down his spine, and Thano nodded. Their God was hungry, and they had best not keep him waiting. But, when Fenrir was satiated, he would grant them with their greatest desires as well. He licked his lips. These wolves would help them. Svad then left it to Zaiaku, and Thano nodded to the dark hessian as well. Then he turned to Ehrgeiz, flicking his tail to the immature male. "Come, Ehrgeiz," he beckoned, "It won't be long now. Fenrir will grant you what you wish, if we do his bidding." He winked to the young brute. "A climb through the mountains might bring some vigor back into these old bones," he murmured with some humour in his tone, then lumbered off behind Zaiaku, excited to see the cliffs and the wolves that resided there. Ehrgeiz looked up as Zaiaku broke into the elder's chatter, telling them where he would lead them. It seemed the dark drake was their guide in these unfamiliar lands. He must know them well. Ehrgeiz wondered if he knew the wolves just as well. He wondered if he knew... that wolf... A frown crossed his maw, and ears flattened in dismay. Mountains? In the harshest of seasons? He looked to the ground, hoping no one would see his displeasure. He'd been born into lands of a humid, woodland marsh, but he'd already experienced mountains, enough to last him a lifetime. Now he would be climbing icy cliffs once more. Shaking his head, he removed the thoughts of complaint, resolving that it would all be worth it in the end. Still, he hated the thought of clambering up steep, frosty slopes and traipsing through deep snow until his muscles ached. It's all your fault, he thought, his tail lashing, But you'll soon get what's coming to you. I told you I'd kill you, and I won't break that promise. His eye, shadowed by darkness, swept upward again. Thano called to him, and he moved purposefully to join the group. He noticed Zaiaku's attention lingering on him again, as though he were a curiosity. His hackles bristled, wondering why the brute seemed to watch him. Clenching his teeth together to keep his mouth shut, he looked away with a shrug and followed at the back of the group, having nothing yet to say to them. | |

| The prince of darkness would be leading them somewhere. To the Mountains. Ana made a pleased humming sound in her throat, in contrast to Svad's hacking and coughing. She was surprised he was still around, but it was clear that the trio of elders were well beyond their years... Perhaps, much older than any wolf present in these lands. "Blood for Fenrir, Life cannot exist without Death" she echoed, her tone slipping into foreign tongue. "Un copil, viata, dar furat pur, sânge fierbinte şi tineri. Rupeţi gâtul, piele, oase, serbarea până când am terminat." She grinned to herself, tassel wagging. She was the enchantress, the song-singer, the one who remembered the words. ""Blood for Fenrir, Life cannot exist without Death... Sânge pentru Fenrir, Viata nu poate exista fără Moarte... Sânge pentru Fenrir, Viata nu poate exista fără Moarte..." She repeated the words as the laughter bubbled in her throat, until she was sent howling and cackling with delight. Oh, how the words brought such ecstasy! She could taste it on her tongue, feel it boiling in her blood, and when she looked up it seemed that the Mountains were so far away, and they moved so slowly.
But, though they moved slowly, she would follow the troupe, for traveling from one far off land to another was a part of her nature as a gypsy. She sidled up to Zaiku with a low rumble of want in her throat, though she made sure to stay in front of the young brujo Thano had brought with him, lifting her tail every now and then to send a good whiff his way. She was old, yes, but she was still in need. She had been with many partners, as such, so it came to the point where it didn't matter where it came from. Of course, she would have loved Mister Zaiku with her. Oh yes, she would have. "Ruthless, Akira is?" she murmured, so many thoughts coming to mind. "Do you like them ruthless, Zaiku? Do you like them hot, or cold? For I can be anything you so desire." She grinned at him; a toothless grin, at that. She wanted to know more about this handsome hellion.

| What fell was light, each flake a unique shape that would connect with another. And thus the pile would begin, gathering close and hindering the movements of al creatures. Coats weighed heavy, and visions became clouded by the vast white that engulfed each direction. Muerta would hold even more, and this made the blood of the wolves that resided there thick. Under harsh conditions there was no room for failure, death by the cold would be the consequence. Their trek wasn't to be a pleasant stroll, but that would have to be expected. He wondered if, with such great age, the trio might fall halfway into the journey. Just another little adventure gone awry. He had doubts though, no matter their age, there was an ethereal quality to the band. And their offering was saturated with intrigue, if nothing more than a moment of entertainment. Once more the joker would have a laugh.
Crania wavering left to right, emerald hues watched as the others took after Zaiaku. He sat for some time, never averting his gaze, before standing. Svadilfari, perpetually in a bow, begun his crippling trek after his counter parts. His structure defied his true ability, his movements could be as swift and agile as any youth. The lithe frame was capable of contorting in odd directions, and he could strike death with his ivories if such a situation arose. However, and he saw this in that youth Anastasiya kept after. It was much easier to fool a wolf with lyrics, rather than direct action. Regardless, some fools were too ignorant for words, and blood had to be spilled. The blood of the innocent, for the god to be freed. What would follow was to be a period of darkness, but not all would be so inclined. They mattered little, he and his kin would do their duty. And life was to continue.
The midnight hessian, bathed in a light coat of white, smirked when the presence of Ana returned. The woman poured desire, her heat upon her, neither he nor any other could resist the temptation. Perhaps, if the circumstances were different, he might've taken her by now, but there was equal pleasure in simply hunting it seemed. Unfortunately for her, the young hessian wasn't subject to his desires as fiercely as he had in youth. The young hessian behind her, well he could only imagine what that scent was doing. "My desires can be...extensive." His lyrics were soft for her auds only, but filled with play. The hessian only passed a brief glance. "Don't be so eager, my dear, you may regret your words." It was thick with desire, playfully suggesting his own ruthless ways.
