Welllll....Rodion could know Zelda and Link before hand, like old friends. Like when Zelda and Link were traveling to FNI they stopped and had a brief stay at Rodion's pack. In those days Zelda was a broken tool...=( And he remembers her like such, (this could cause some fun antagonism between the two) treating her sort of fragile like. If you want I can explain Zelda past (its short) so to say that Rodion knew what happened to her and why he treats her like thus. And then she knows that he was raised to be an alpha so therefore trusts him to take the lands. ^^

How would you like me to integrate Rodion into the pack? You just want a typical "Arooo, okay I'm here, follow me," or a whole drawn out process? I'm totally good with either. Just give me an idea so I don't screw too many things up with any plots and whatnot.
