| Akira approached her children silently listening to Daenery's hushed words. Stepping over to her growing children she sighed. "Because your father could not control his wolves, that is why he is gone." Running a tongue over Dae's head than Killians she glanced at her other children and grunted calling them over. Mercy nipped at Odin as she ran by her brother growling at her but otherwise attended the family meeting silently. She of them all was the most oblivious to their fathers demise, if she did not see it, it really didn't trigger in her mind. The grayed femmora stretched and laid herself out, her coat coming from the mixing of her parents colors. She eyed Dae who she secretly envied for her clear blue eyes and white coat like mama and their aunt. Akira looked at Mercy, the most frivolous of her children and her mouth turned up slightly at the corner. All her pups were attractive thus far, except for Odin who's one milky eye looked up at her in his solemn manner. There was a manner to him that Akira knew would help him be ruthless with his enemies, it was something she rather enjoyed.
Shaking her pelt as if to dust away the topic of Damean's death she smirked and leaned back. "It is high time that you, my children had their first hunt." Mercy squeaked immediately jumping to her paws, Odin seemed somewhat intrigued but was also distracted hoping to see the whispered presence of their father. | |

| As things finally settled down and the Midnight's went their separate ways with a promise of loyalty, and Akira went to tend to her pups at last, Crimson glanced around, wondering what she was left with. She had wanted to speak with Curse, but she could see that the femme was busy with her mate, so she shrugged and turned away. She would leave the conversation for another time. For now, she needed to find at least one of her daughters. It made her wonder where Ludo and his kin had gone off to, and where Elipsis was. Last time she'd seen the boy, he'd been gallivanting away with her old rival Deadly. Sighing, she shook her head and moved away, tail held high and nose to the air, wondering who she might find first...
--------------------------
Avenged ran her claws down the bark of a rather tall tree, yawning as she did so. She had been wandering the terra for quite some time, and had plopped down for a little nap. She hadn't seen her sister or any of her family for quite a while now, and she almost wondered where any of them were. She hungered, and she could not hunt. Maybe she should find somebody. Groaning, the youngster moved away from the tree and perked up as she heard a whole bunch of shuffling through the undergrowth, followed by a loud thud. The stench of blood and death filled her nares, and she moved forward curiously to see what was going on. When all was quiet she crept toward a large, dark mound, and upon examining it she found that it was Dracul, the brute she'd been speaking with when she was younger. She was surprised to see him dead like this and tossed away like carrion, but she knew she needn't question it. Things happened.
Moving away from the corpse, Avenged set off up the tall incline that Dracul's body had been dropped off of. Her claws dug into the sod as she clambered upward; it would have been easier to go around and find a less steep path, but being young and wanting to test her limits, she went straight up. At the top she plopped down, panting hard as she let her heart rest from the effort. At last she stood again and moved on, scenting many wolves like Dracul up ahead. Blood-red eyes darted around as she saw them moving about. Some were about to go on a hunt. She licked her lips at the thought, wondering if they would share a bit. Then suddenly her mother appeared before her with a sly grin upon her maw. "What do you want, mom?" she asked, wondering why she smirked so widely.
"I saw you licking your lazy chops," Crimson snarled, extending her claws as Avenged gave her a dirty look, "Don't you think its about time you learned to take care of yourself?" She knew Avenged wasn't quite old enough to hold her own, but she should be well on her way to learning how, instead of wondering off all the time. She gave a low growl and moved into the undergrowth, flicking her tail for the girl to follow, whether she liked it or not. She could hear the grumblings of the unwilling wolfess, but paid no heed. She needed to be a proper warrior, and warriors didn't whine or complain. Setting off, the two were soon on the scent of a lone deer, and Crimson led the way toward it...
---------------------------
Aditi glanced about her family as they took care of business. Her spar was long forgone and she narrowed her eyes, trying to shrug it off. She had not been able to prove her place, but she would, soon. Huffing, she watched as Omisis and Vlad went off to rid the clan of Dracul's body. Vlad, her mate-to-be; under Dracul's rule, anyway. She wondered if Curse would still apply such rules to the clan, or if she could remain independent. It mattered little to her, for she intended to disappear during her heat cycle anyways, not wishing to carry the burden of a litter so soon. When Omisis returned, asking who would join a hunt, Aditi stood forth immediately. "I will go," she said, tail in the air. If she couldn't prove herself through a spar, then perhaps a hunt would do for now.
Icarus watched the goings-on with little care, waiting for things to be sorted out. He had not known this clan long, so whatever happened was not his concern. Not yet. Although he was glad to have family in his life, he could not say he was yet attached to any of them, feeling more closeness to his sister, mother and uncle than anything. And even that was very little. Still, when a hunt was inquired about and his sister moved forward, he darted ahead as well, putting himself next to her. "I'm coming too," he said quickly.
Cira looked to her mate as he stated that he needed to rest, speaking to her with softness he witheld for her ears only. It made her feel special and she nodded her head to him. "You rest dear, I will fetch food with the clan," she told him, parting with a soft kiss to his maw. She moved away from him and let him go to his den and get comfortable. She had done little lately and had lots of energy to spare. She could see that her children were already preparing to join the hunt and shook her head knowingly. They were both too proud; Aditi was cunning and wise for her age, and Icarus was a follower, but he wanted to be 'better' than everybody else. But it didn't matter. At least they were trying. She looked to Omisis. "I'm ready to hunt as well," she said, dipping her head.

| Daenerys looked at her mother now having to believe that her father was dead. Her icy blue eyes widened and her ivory ears flicked backwards. She wanted to protest to scream out and call her mother a liar but she knew that would not do any good...not with their mother..the queen of Muerta. She looked to Killian and felt her mother's kiss upon her brow and then her words calling for a hunt. She felt shaken but showed none of it in her small white form. She stood and licked her nose as if that would help the tears from forming like glass across her blue eyes. She looked away so no one could see and waited for their mother begin the hunt. | |

| "My lamb and martyr, speech" "My lamb and martyr, speech"The hungry eyed bru lurked in the shadows of Muerta Mountains. He looked like the most imposing thing to be there since... well he didn't know much about the land's history, but from what he had been told, he was pretty damn scary. He licked at his chops habitually, green eyes glowing from the darkness. He watched the mother alphess with her children, how cute. They got to hunt, was what he heard from his eavesdropper's position, though it seemed the little one who looked like her mother was having a bit of an emotional time. Weeping over the late and great Damean Jager, perhaps? It was a shame that they wouldn't know much of Jaded. She would have provided a nice little reprieve to the brutalities of the icy queen. How did he know this? All he had was time these days, and he lurked from land to land getting what drops he could from the pack members. After all, even a loner had to know the goings on around here for risk of walking into the wrong situation...
Like Havoc's. That plan had failed so miserably it made him angry to think about it. He had been so close to power. And he wouldn't have even had do deal with that miserable little plot if Laike would have just let him be. He was fine with toying with Will while he had the chance. Well, wherever Vega was now, that was his problem. Brotherly love was something he would leave to them. And speaking of such, his mind began to wander, as was its custom, he wondered about that miserable brother of his. What was Tristan up to? Was the pitiful cripple still alive, even? It was a pity really, that they couldn't meet without wanting to tear each other apart. Though it was early on that Matt had learned to let it go. His focus came back sharply, the movements of the family once again catching his eye from a distance.
He wasn't one to lay back and wait, too outgoing and too damn crazy to hold still when waiting for something. He noticed the little femora pushing back tears with a distracting move. He approached, massive black shoulders rolling forward coolly, looking like a menace but meaning no trouble. He looked at the tiny blue eyes, licked at his own maw again, and let his deep voice pass with gentle deception to her ears. "Don't keep up that habit, little one. I did and now I just can't stop." He pushed his nose to her ear, lowering his tones to the whisper of a friendly stranger. "It's okay to cry once in a while you know." The risk of Akira throwing herself at him didn't bother him in the slightest. He almost needed the thrill of that pain. He was just so... bored lately. Maybe the kiddies would finally get to see their mum's unbridled rage in person. He waited, dead still. Had Daenerys ever been taught not to talk to strangers? | |

There was a darkness, a darkness that lurked within this wolfess unlike any other. It was a thick roiling mass that pervaded her very soul, touched it, caressed it, embraced it. Her mind was enveloped by the it, some of her thoughts bordered on insanity, empathy was nonexistent and mercy a fading thought of another lifetime. What was left was a cruel calculating intellect that served only itself. A modicum of a certain...duty, a loyalty to her pack and her family was left untouched by this unabated taint. The ice queen she truly was for her heart felt not the touch of anothers, she was void of the gentleness of life it had died long ago in her childhood. Not even her cursed father had been able to stop it, in fact he had encouraged it. Fear held no grip on her, you had to be sane to be afraid.
So it was thus as she turned her battle scarred visage away from her whelps and began to pad away that a noise entered her auds. The noise of an approacher, the noise of an intruder. Crown swiveled in the direction to see a large ebony hessian crouched speaking to her child. Something sinister flashed across her amber lanterns, muscles condensed in an automatic reflex before unwinding itself as the she witch launched over the startled form of Mercedes, landing all but on top of Daenerys her teeth flashed out and a savage growl tore from her chest. Every piece of fur was rigid along her spine and her scars screamed out as a testament to her prowess. She was an awe inspiring sight, it was the reason she had held sway over this land for so long, the reason wolves were afraid for their lives across the land. To dare confront the haunting amber eyes of this demoness meant certain death.
Unless of course you could be used.
"Dare you approach my children stranger and think not of the penalty of death?!" She snarled out, tassle lashing. Waiting, waiting for his move whether or not he would take up the mantle of a challenge and face her down. Whether he would cower in the face of her anger. In which case, no matter how frightening she was, would mean instant death for their cowardice. Or perhaps he would be yet another smartass come to test her patience. Choose wisely o' stranger.

| "My lamb and martyr, speech" "My lamb and martyr, speech"Matthew had gotten exactly what he wanted. The queen's attention was focused solely on him now. It wasn't hard, and it was so simple it would have been an insult to call it easy. His type of insane took a long time to provoke. Her type of insane... Well... All you had to do was look the wrong way. He heard her coming, saw her shadow above his back - she must have fancied it as death coming for him or some other epic type of crock - and felt her weight land squarely on him. It rolled him so he was squarely beneath her. He didn't struggle, no, that was the last of what he wanted. His rear paws were tucked up against her stomach, ready to push if she felt the need to go "ice queen" on him for real. His front pads were pulled to his chest, giving him the appearance of an innocent from afar. But really, the only thing he found impressive so far was that she could knock his weight. Next time he'd just have to let her try it with his balance centered. The worst part of him was in his eyes, the devil's own looking back up at her with no conviction, no remorse, just a swirling pool of insanity, blinking away the saliva that had hit him in the face during her "terrifying" assault. And to make matters worse, upon leaving a dead silence to look her over, take in every last scar with the seconds he had, appraise his situation and let the dust clear from his eyes...
He laughed. It started as a jerk in his chest, crawled its way out of his throat, and presented itself with a curtsy in her face. He laid on his back beneath the queen and laughed until he couldn't take it himself anymore. He eyed the children, looked back at her, and went in one moment from frenzied court jester to serial killer. The smile dropped, his jaws clacked together hard enough to send the wind from his cheeks and his lips to flap, just once. The ebony hellion inclined his head, ears perked, and spoke to her matter of factly, displaying the baffling notion that he wasn't the least bit frightened. "Actually, I did come with that idea. But I decided why dwell on it? After all, it is up to you, isn't it? And I don't see me dead yet. After all, what good would it be to waste your energy on a possessionless vagabond? Because it's fun? It's easy? I'm going to learn all about it? Dearest Akira, you do confound me so with your wits and tricks and legend and prowess, but really, I'm beginning to think it's a load of hot air. I mean, wouldn't you have killed me when I got close enough? Your scars and muscle and power and ability to strike fear into the hearts of the bravest of men really does nothing to impress me when all the while I've been laying here alive and you piss on your own standards. If you really wanted to, you would have torn out my throat while I was still speaking. I'm just waiting here and wasting air while your children sit hungry waiting for you to teach them how to fend for themselves. I'm sure if you let them they'd know how to kill. That's not what they need to see. So be a dear and let me up before anyone has to see this."
He pointed the tip of his nose at her, seeming to have spoken everything in one breath. And he was quite certain she would have no idea what to do with him... Except maybe yell 'silence!' or something utterly predictable. Not that he didn't have respect for her, but the spice of it was just... gone after a while. He needed to be entertained just as much as she did right about now. Which was a hell of a lot or none at all depending on how the mood was about to switch. After such an expressive speech, his stare went blank, staring and waiting simply for the excuse of staring and waiting. As if to egg her on, his tassel thumped on the ground a couple of times. Matt was quite happy where he lay, and didn't mind if she pinned him there for eternity. He would have liked it if she dug her claws in a little harder, though. | |

| Daenerys ears pinned flat against her ears when the stranger's friendly tones hit her auds. She flinched away from his touch and snarled. She may be small but she was the get of Akira and Damean Jager. Icy blue eyes stared at him coldly. "Don't touch me." she said and even at her small size there was a threat laced to her tone. In a single leap her mother had turned and leaped on top of the stranger though not a hair in her snowy pelt was misplaced. She looked at the stranger her blue eyes narrowed and kept her ears pinned and her hackles rose to match her mothers. This wolf was odd. She didn't like his speach and how he seemed to talk down to her mother as if he was better than she or if mother was ridiculous.. She growled softly and glanced at her siblings. Mother was all they had left...Father was dead and this bru came to taunt. She wanted to tell her mother to bite him because he touched her and now she felt 'dirty' for it but she held her tongue blue eyes burning as she watched this play out. | |

| Killian wanted to snap at his mother for just turning face to what was going on. She had rulers in her pack... Ah he didn't understand but before he could question someone else came into play and killian watched as his mother became protective over dae and the rest of them... The young princes ears perked up instantly And he listened to the whole wolfs speech his eyes turned towards his siblings in slight awe... Little did killian know maybe this wolf would come in handy in later days... | |

From her vantage point above the hessian her amber orbs locked onto his glowing hues. The dead pools did not phase her nor did the unusual illumination, she had seen more unusual traits in a wolf than what she saw before her. Her own beta had a body of spikes from some genetic defect, the midnights eyes changed colors, but what did she need all this for when she could employ the age old method of tooth and claw?
He laughed at her and she felt her talons sink into the dirt. So it was going to be one of those type of days...Eyes blazed as he spoke at her belittling her and her reputation. As if she had never come across a wolf before with the nerve to run his mouth and what he thought was an amusing spiel. Lip twitched and she growled low as he finished speaking taking note of her children around her. Mercedes had caught up to speed and stood right next to her sister, she sniffed her quickly and licked her face as if confirming she had suffered no harm and she too stood with her hackles raised growling at the downed brute. Odin had circled around and stood opposite Akira but did not stand looking at his mother but instead he stared at the hessian with an unnerving intensity from an angle in which he could not be observed himself.
Once he was finished speaking Akira lowered her head so that their faces were almost touching and slowly a smirk cracked along her lips. Her face danced with amusement. "I have no standards you sniveling cur, I don't play with games of wit and mockery to hide my cowardice. Besides whoever said that I delivered a quick death you fool, perhaps I let you run your mouth because I enjoy the whining attempt to escape death's clutches." Her breath was hot and she felt herself itching to sink her teeth into his throat. "I have killed too many messengers short of their time to strike a mortal blow every time a possessionless vagabond wanders into my lands." This time she laughed in his face. "You no different than any other wolf that stumbles in here and it is clear that you are no messenger. Farewell." Then as she was about to strike at his throat suddenly a sharp command spouted from next to her face.
"Stop mother!" Akira halted aggravated but saw Odin's face next to hers. His eye was distant and he was still looking at Matt, into those glowing eyes. His blind eye seemed to roam the curvatures of his face. Then he whispered "Bent but sturdy, dispose not for there is a reaping." Stepping back from Matt, Akira frowned at her son. She knew there was something different about her son and she learned to heed his words. Laughing she looked up the sky. "Spared by divine intervention. Bah..." Snarling her bloodlust had risen. Tassle flicking she glanced at her children. "Come and leave this sod in the dirt." Then she rose and strode into the woods. Mercy trailing after her but Odin stayed perched by the brute.
"She was going to kill you, you know." He said softly staring at his face.

| "My lamb and martyr, speech" "My lamb and martyr, speech"Matt seemed to relax as the queen spat her words out at him. Just as he had suspected. They could have twisted words at one another for forever and a day and gotten nowhere. The game she played seemed to be close to the same one he did. Though unintentional, it bothered him that she took his mockery as a mask for cowardice. In truth, it was nothing more than mockery at all. Bold, unabashed mockery. He comforted himself with the thought that she just didn't understand. Poor queenie. Seemed she was green to the ways of mental manipulation. He laid there and took it, every last drop of spit to his face, every whiff of her breath... and the closer she got to his face, the harder it was to decide whether to cut her off by clamping her mouth shut or slobbering on her. Soon the threats were muffled to his ears. The same here as everywhere else it seemed, the same, old unoriginal insults. It would have threatened his sanity... if he'd had any to begin with. His habitual chop licking smacked about once more and at the end of Akira's long-winded speech, he yawned.
Suddenly her sharpened pearly whites were flying at his throat with deadly abandon. He didn't flinch in the slightest. Indifference to life and death was part of his mantra... whatever the hell that actually was. He could have been a nihilist, but his love of chaos haunted him too much to let it go. The only thing to truly shock him throughout this entire experience was the cry of the one eyed pup. His gaze immediately snapped to the boy, expression at first baffled, then grinning. And Akira released him. The love of her child was just too much? Or was her achilles heel the belief in the presence of a higher power. He did hs hardest to stifle the chuckle that rose when she blamed divine intervention. Did she really believe this whelp had powers? Oh this he would never let her live down if she let him live long enough to do so. He rolled over lackadaisically to his side with a thud, watching Odin patiently. He spoke to Akira as she walked away, a sarcastic "Pleasure to meet you" passing his lips to hit the air. But soon he was serious. Deadly serious. He narrowed his eyes, examining the boy. 'She was going to kill you, you know.' This higher power thing wasn't getting to his head, but the kid was too unusual to pass up a conversation with.
... "I did know," he responded rather quietly. "I was ready for it. I've learned to accept those kind of circumstances. Death is unavoidable as it is. Now... what did you mean, young one? Bent but sturdy... reaping. What are you getting at?" | |

| Odin crouched not moving even when Matt did. He was different, he knew it, his siblings knew it and even his mother knew to take his words. What he saw in this hessian before him was something of interest. It was akin to what he saw in Akira, what was in most dark wolves, hell even pures had it lingering on the edge but it was also different. And just as he stated that he would have accepted deaths embrace it was this very...aura that embodied him. A sort of void, something that could not possibly be described. To describe such thing would be the same as asking a wolf to describe the color red without using other colors as a reference. Such was the predicament Odins logical mind was in. He plied him with the predictable questions. And it was his turn to yawn. Standing the youth shook his pelt and gazed to the spot where his mother had made her exit before looking back at Matt. "What does it mean when the herds move north? Or when the leaves fall from the trees?" He spoke solemly like no pup should. The effect was almost eerie, too mismatched. "She doesn't like wolves who talk like you. Says it's a job for the ravens and cowards to speak like you do." He had changed the subject, whether it was intentionally or not he didn't really know. Odin never really knew why he did what he did. | |

| The hellion viewed the boy with growing interest, content to laying perfectly still, just below eye level with him while he was examined. It wasn't like he was voluntarily stared at all that often, so he took it with good humor. Another string of sentences. The oddities were a sort of sweet song to him, the strangeness of Odin captivating to him in a way that mirrored admiration, though admiration itself was the wrong word. Perhaps awe suited it better, to see and hear the maturity, the haunting nature of such a young child. His cryptic messages were more fitting of a relic, a greyed wolf with nothing left to do but dispense eerie one-liners for others to solve. Matthew listened to the words carefully and answered as he saw fit. "Why? Because things are dying. Trees die and their beauty falls to the ground to be stepped on, forgotten by others where weeks before they were the epitome of opulence. Just like everything else, they decay and are left to become nothing. The herds move north to fight and die and breed to make more of themselves because they know they'll die anyway. Much like we do." The second bit of words would have stung another, but being how he was, he smiled at Odin's comment as to his mother's opinion of him."There are a lot of others who don't like me. And I don't see what's so wrong with ravens. But I'm no coward. Never been afraid of anything in my life." He left the pup to interpret that for himself, and if he were so wise as he seemed, he would interpret it not as bravado but as a statement of fact. His lack of caring made him suceptible to apathy, and everything was predictable in the end. Neither bears, nor storms, nor a queen's rage could shake him. And it was not for bravery that he felt this way. It was emptiness. The void Odin saw in him, the void he knew was there but didn't know if others could see, that was his fearlessness. In due time he would ask the boy about what he saw, why he was the way he was. But not now. Too soon. | |

| Reclining on his haunches he decided that maybe he would like to exchange a few more words with this brute. After all he wasn't all spook he was a wolf born and bred in a social setting. Peering down at his large mitts he shrugged his shoulders to the brutes interpretation of his statements. "You look at the world through a strange veil....very...." he hesitated betraying his inexperience and youth "What is the word..." he frowned struggling to remember the word. "...mor.....morbid yes?" he looked at Matt for confirmation for this conclusion. Charcoal ears flicked listening to some distant noise and his fur bristled every so softly. Anyone who spent any amount of time around Odin would notice he did that quite often.
As for the statement about him not fearing anything Odin nodded. "Yes I know." Tassle flicked. "Mamma isn't scared either though she should be. " | |

| So it seemed Odin wanted to have a conversation. It struck Matthew that perhaps neither of them was the type to really do so... Ironic that they would meet such an occasion with one another. He was searching for a word, trying to describe him. How many others had done that before. He finally spit the word out. Morbid. The elder bru nodded his affirmation, the observation making the smile on his lips stay put. He made note of the pup's attention flickering to another noise and passed it off as nothing more than curiosity. He didn't need to overanalyze everything. Once again, more often than he had ever been, he was caught off guard by what Odin said. "You..." he thought about what to say, just slightly peering at him, trying to observe the whelp in return, "read others very well. I like that. Now... why should mother be afraid?" This last part was what intrigued him most. What in the world did Akira have to be afraid of? | |

| He shifted his weight, talking about this with another was making him nervous. He knew others didn't see what he saw, knew they could not see the spectral lights that danced around them and in everyone. Sometime he closed his blind eye so that he might get some peace but closing one eye for any length of time was impractical. He had never actually spoken about it. It was something instinctual that he felt the need to hide it from others. As if to find the moment of peace once more he closed his eyes knowing that he would hear the memories of echos and feel the touch that so often chilled his spine. Maybe it would go away someday.
He asked why his mother should be afraid. Opening his eyes and he glanced around as if to make sure no one was listening. He demeanor betrayed us hesitance and he opened his maw slowly. "Death...death is..." again he struggled but this time it was not for knowledge he did not have but him deciding what he should say. "She has made many enemies..." he finished a bit lamely. He glanced around quickly lip twitched as if he was going to growl.
Perhaps it was unfair of him to ask this since he was being so vague but how did you tell someone that you could smell their memories? Taste their emotions? "Why do your eyes glow like that? You are not Midnight right?" | |

| Many enemies, eh? Matt seemed borderline caring right now, giving Odin a sympathetic look. Pups never wanted to talk about that sort of thing, but it took a lot for him to not just spew another 'tough luck, kid. Everybody dies' line in his face. He almost got the feeling that Odin wanted to trust him. But it was for the better if he held off on that. "Death is coming? Death is close?" he whispered. "If there's one wolf you don't have to worry about sounding crazy to, it's me. But I'll drop it if that's what you want." It was a pity the boy couldn't speak as freely as he could and really express himself. He would have loved to hear the whole long story from this one. It was sort of a disappointment when the subject changed. He would have loved to keep pressing. But Odin's expression told all. Too many of the others around. The ebony bru obliged, however, letting him lead the conversation. "I'm no Midnight," he snorted, "And if I was, I wouldn't stick around here. I would annoy myself to death." Their organizational skills and manner of working for others turned him off. He couldn't stand a group of them for more than five minutes bickering amongst themselves. It was a wonder the race had survived at all. "I always thought my eyes were just pretty," he fluttered them at the pup, trying to humor him just a bit, "Perhaps it's the light. I don't know why they glow like that. They're just... special." 'Sure, special. We'll go with that. Like I know what the hell kind of disease I probably have that makes them do that.' "Why? You just curious?" He smirked. "Or do you know something I don't?" | |

| He wasn't sure he believed the wolf when he said he could trust him. Then again he wasn't sure if he was really worried about sounding crazy. There were plenty of crazy wolves around here. Death is close he guessed and he shook his head slightly. No that wasn't the direction his speech was going in, death was always close and Odin was sure this brute knew that well enough without him saying it.
A wry smirk appeared on his face. "The only crazy one here is you." he stated matter of factly. Reaching a hind paw up to scratch his ear he paused and thought about his response about his eyes. He called them special by saw nothing special. Odin resigned that station for himself for now then. "I was just curious. I suppose they're not so good for hunting or any night activity, they're like a beacon that attract s- uh..things." He was suddenly fixated by some mite on his pelt and nibbled away at it. | |

| Killian watched as their mother was about to take yet another life... But for once she couldn't and the young hessian found himself laying down next to dae as their brother spoke with the stranger who had a good tongue. Friendship with little almost yearlings how interesting. A yawn of nothing close to being tired killian thought around the thought of their fathers death and what his mother had said. 'he couldn't control his own wolves...' killian sat up and looked around. The wolves that betrayed his father would still be there... He couldn't allow that! Even now he hadn't heard if jaded's death which would have fueled his fire. His eyes searched down the length of his body and he sighed. He was far from old enough or strong enough to go avenge anything. His eyes trailed to his sisters and he wanted to tell them how he felt... But could he trust them? It was then damkira came out from the brush and rubbed along her brother in a sick seducing way.
"I don't have time for this Damkira what do you want." he noticed his voice was changing. Getting deeper like his fathers... His dead father and another wave of anger washed over him. Why wouldn't his mother do anything. Was it cause a broken treaty still stood!? Well in his mind he said f to that. He needed and wanted to kill every last wolf who betrayed his father... "no time for games anymore killian. My sick little brother and his over protective twin are no longer fun to harass anymore. I cantget Odin in on games cause he's to special now. Always lurking flicking his eyes every direction and mercy you're to caught up in becomming mamma that you don't want to have fun like her." killian felt his throat rumble as his sister spoke of them all under her. Oh if she were one of the wolves who caused betrayel it'd be to her own family... | |

| Daenerys felt her brother lay next to her. He was growing, she noticed. Her ears flicked back as she listened to the stranger who dared to touch her..DARED.. speak to their brother Odin with a honeyed tongue. Snowy auds flicked back and she touched Killian's shoulder in silence as he sat up. She watched her brother Odin for a while more until Damkira's voice came to her ears. Dae turned and stood and wrinkled her nose at her sister. "What Damkira? Still a tiny pup to be always playing games." Daenery's voice came mockingly. She wasn't afraid of her high and mighty sister. She didn't like how she was rubbing against Killian...it was wrong and it made Dae's ears flick backwards. She was however glad to hear Kilian speak up to her. She lifted tiny form to her feet and flicked her tail. | |

| He twitched and bit at his skin. Stupid bug, if that's what it was... He wasn't supposed to be here but he didn't care, that was from his 'clans' leader who was blood but she was nothing to him in any form of control or leadership. He was here under direct eye orders from Evander, the new alpha of the new Jabbar... he in fact now thought the pack needed a new name...the pack was no longer 'hell's army' as the original title implied. "Can we dub the lands now taken over and rename them in a fashion more fit for these times. I hope so...next order of business to discuss when I get home" Home... hmmm this sounds pretty interesting to his idea. It was then he saw the white queen step away from the ones she called her whelps and he made for that same direction. Oh... he killed their father, these were the ones he spoke of softly before he died in his own mouth. He loved them just as much as he loved their father's death. "Pity they only saw you for a short while"
His words were spoken aloud, he kept nothing in his mind, he didn't need to. He spotted the soft one eyed pup and a crazed glowed eyed brute talking while just seconds off were the other pups, bantering with what was a seductive little girl. Another of Damean's? He'd take her, not now, but if she made herself that easy to a sibling then one day she'd make herself so much easier to him. "I'll soil your young too just like I promised old man" Deadly smirked and kept stalking, stepping away from the pups he so wanted to touch with that deadly kiss their father received hours and hours before. He came upon the fem quietly, speaking to himself as always before until he was right upon her.
"Deadly." he said, nodding his head, not aware of the fact her name indeed was the same as his. "I'm looking for Akira, even if I had seen her walk away moments before. But along my way in stalking her I look for some support to take home. Wanna join? I can space out the way on the trip home if you'd like" he smirked, but his eyes were crazy. "And if you agree to join the new Jabbar, be ready to claim yourself now because there's about to be a mouthful when I'm scented here. I am infact banned from here by my sister, but her words aren't the leadership over Akira am I wrong? Will you tell me what she's like...?" Deadly waited for an answer, all the while he was twitching, biting himself on his side annoyed by the constant itching a stupid beeting, tic, whatever it was bit him here or there...[center] | |

| The cool liquid soothed her lightly, though her tension was still high. Her reasons were her own, but she knew part of them wasn’t a smart reason to be pissed off. After all, nothing had emerged from that brief moment, when she thought something could’ve grown. A light growl escaped her lips, as she lapped up more of the stream. Amber lanterns lifted finally, adjusting from the blue to the green of the forest. The ashen woman shook herself, and the sat upon the smooth stones resting against the stream. She didn’t know what was happening any more, and her changing emotion wasn’t aiding her. To be dark was different then to be insane, yet she felt herself slipping elsewhere. She wasn’t passive anymore, and she grew impatient with others. Had things changed so drastically? Auds perked at her name escaping another’s jowls, and she turned quickly. A bruja, some random male that she couldn’t recognize. Though he spoke her name, which made her curious, yet the tone was different, and she realized he spoke his own. Then Akira, her queen, that old white witch. The ashen woman withheld a smirk at her thoughts, knowing full well the consequences if she had said that to Akira. He spoke as though he was familiar with everyone, yet she had not seen him before. Deadly Dance realized it was because the old her had been passive, and chose to stay away from others. “You seek my queen, and invite me to join a new pack? I can tell with ease that your mind is not entirely connected…” She smirked at her own lyrics, realizing they were bold and harsh. “What if I were Akira’s beta? Or another wolf that was completely loyal to her? You think such words would go over well with them? They would tear you apart, and then drag your body to her feet with pride.” Deadly stood and smirked once again, entertained by the male. “Akira doesn’t take intruders lightly, that’s what she’s like.” She moved around him briefly, looking the male over. “What’s so grand about this new Jabbar that should convert me from my loyalties?” It was clear Deadly didn’t think herself entirely loyal to Muerta. She was at a point where she didn’t know where her loyalties lay. | |

| Deadly watched as her face twitched from thought to though. This female thought his mind was not connected by a logical metal system. "do I look like a wolf who cares what other wolves are to judge? I killed a king yesterday and watched my former king who lived here get slaughtered by his own daughter and your queen. Now if your oppose to family destruction then I suggest you stay here in this lovely place your so loyal to.. Bit you seek adventure am I wrong? You look to highly bored and way to highly attractive to be wandering alone..." again the brute twitched and he laughed a little to himself.
"and it be not muerta I would fear here... Midnight wolves who follow that of curse and set to destroy Akira one day. Jabbar is a safe haven for those clinically insane such as ourselves and future residence... He wouldn't want to see you go to waste either..." his eyes flashed a neon red thinking of his new friend. "friend I guess I shouldn't callyousuch things. Besides you offered me to the witch for speaking so out of line in her standards... But she's not my mother and I can pee. Talk. And spit. Where ever I want." his mind was racing... This brute was crazy off but entertaining. "so what say you? Jabbar is now under rule of evander with the fallen king and queen. Only one got away but he'll be dead soon. To drive a king to death and chase his pack from the lands. Tell me sweetheart you don't want to join in our fun... ?"
Deadly waited for an answer his eyes were locked on her and normally this would be a testy thing to do with a stranger but deadly was insane. He really didn't get this right and wrong thing or why a conversation shouldn't be brought up about every topic out there... But this was deadly. Bad ugly blood duckling from the midnight family... | |

| Odin glanced at his idling siblings and he knew that their mother was going to be waiting for him. Shooting one last glance at Matt he shrugged. "I have to go." Then he rose and trotted over to his kin and growling at the arguing lot of them he said "Come on mother's waiting for us." He looked at Damkira and frowned, she was always the bitter one. Shaking his head he dashed off into the forest trying to catch up with Akira before she got too mad. He knew that his actions on interceding on Matt's life had already fueled her anger. Best to let her kill something as soon as possible. | |

| "My lamb and martyr, speech" Matt was moments away from asking what the pup had meant when he tripped over his words. Something was going to come instead of just "things". He knew he was a disturbing individual, but another reason for things avoiding him? He wasn't crazy. He knew there was something else Odin wasn't telling him. And he would have to gain his trust to find out what it was. A little femme passed by them and beckoned for her brother, just as the inquiry was leaving his lips. Before it was too late, he sent a message along with the pup. Simply, "We'll speak again later." As soon as they were out of earshot he snarled to himself, bracing his paws in the dirt. Small canyons opened beneath his talons, and he swatted the dirt aside with a huff before walking off aimlessly. He had observed how the other pups regarded him with a certain sense of mistrust, though the little sick looking one seemed more curious than turned off. Bah, what did he care? Akira was his interest for now, and when she returned he would have his second try with her. Odin's makeshift blessing granted him immunity, and by his own hand, the ebony beast would ensure entrance to the pack. He thought to follow the family for a moment, but today he just didn't feel like taking it that extra step too far.
He found his own place to lay and lit his thoughts begin to drift into uncharted territory. It was undenitable that he had felt that familiar burn of desire form within when the queen took him down. Were it any other fae he would have made his move then and there. But this was different. He would play her, drag her unwillingly like a child's puppet strung along behind in the dirt. Whether eventually of her own free will or by the twisted tricks his mind could pull on even the most expecting, he would have her. He wondered if any before him had lusted after her. It almost seemed unlikely, the way she would snap and scream all the time. Ah, but his delightfully sick sense of masochism would keep that in check. The more pain she intended to inflict upon him, the more pleasure he would feel. He knew his future was filled with intentional journeys to her feet for the sake of her bite and hers alone. And the moment she was angry, the moment she needed to take out her rage, he would throw himself at her feet. It would be an endless chasing game of love me, hurt me. No, he didn't need her love really, just her soul, her everything else. Love was to common, too... petty. And neither of them would think it fitting anyway. One of those twisted matehoods where they were inseperable, wild, angry, crazy, passionate fools, but without the slightest bit of true commitment between them. Where one moment they would be unable to keep themselves off one another and the next they were tearing each other apart. Yes, he could do that. It was perfect, the bipolar marriage. He grinned ear to ear alone, looking like some demented doll sitting all by himself. It got him hot just to think about it. "My lamb and martyr, speech" | |

| Compliments from an insane bruja, was she so lost that she could accept them? It was a high possibility, and his lyrics of her boredom were correct. While the former ashen woman would’ve spat at the male and brought him to her queen, if at all possible, Deadly simply smirked at all his words. His flattery wasn’t getting across though; not considering her patience for males was very low. She solidified her heart of such things now, even if she could not deny his features, she wouldn’t openly give her self. Since the last bruja that tried, failed, she chose for the time being to cast that emotion aside. Not to say she wouldn’t use her features to her own advantage, Deadly smirked at the thought. She had heard of the fall of Jabbar, talk got around quickly among dark packs. Though she hadn’t caught who the killer was, and to hear it from him made her smirk. Perhaps it was her new insanity that made her find him enticing, but who was she to deny the obvious power the male had. The ashen fem moved around him again, standing next to him and smirking darkly. “Sweetheart won’t do…” Her lyrics were seducing; she used the tactic she used when she fought. Though her ‘dance’ wasn’t necessary, the woman lightly walked by him with a little step, whipping him slightly with her tassel. “Deadly Dance, my boy…and I would love nothing more then to join in on your fun…” Something flashed in her lanterns, something much like his own, and she smirked once more. | |
