| Jack's eyes blazed as he looked into his daughter dejected eyes. A great sigh of relief swept through his body when she yielded to his authority but he was so so easily convinced by her actions and her whispered words to confirm that he should continue to keep a close eye on her, not that he didn't already. He growled to reinforce his command and as she stood up and began to walk again he spoke loudly with a hard voice, his eyes boring into the back of her body. "I forbid it Liar." The words echoed through woods and without another word Jack stalked off. He was going to secure his territory, small pack be damned they would maintain their land and he would put down some incentives for others to join. Heading off into the woods aggressively he would ensure that Junior had left, there were no other intruders and he would find the scent of those wolves who had entered and killed his grandchildren. He hoped that Khalon would return soon, while their numbers were small there were more males than females in this pack and it gave them a slightly better advantage. The tri-hued hessian scouted his boundaries just as the first snowflake flitted in on the oceans wind and alighted on the ground before him. Winter was coming.. | |

| Larka walked alongside Yana listening to him intently, nodding her head in agreement to many of his statements. A little grin coming to her maw as he talked of using mind games, that she could do for she could not only talk to other creatures but read minds as well, though she choose not to more often than not, she was a very loyal and trusting little wolf who hated to trespass in someone’s thoughts unless absolutely necessary.
When Yana talked about the pack she turned her grin into a sort of frustrated scowl before asking, “Do you think they will like me?” Not waiting for an answer right way she said, “And I would like someone to teach me how to fend for myself and also how to harness my…” She struggled with the right words, not sure if she should confide in him about her ‘abilities’ just yet, afraid she would be shunned as an outcast or marked as a threat, as the pack who had attacked her family had. “…my, well my instincts. Plus I wouldn’t mind having someone to talk to once in a while.” The little pup said with a small grin.
As she talked Larka noticed that Yana seemed distracted, as if searching for something or someone. She stopped and cocked her head watching him for a while before she suddenly grabbed his tail, giving it a little tug as she mumbled “Are you waiting for someone or do you always glance around as if expecting something to jump out of the bushes at you?” the words, though understandable, were muffled by the mouth full of Yana tail, Larka's bright yellow orbs gleamed with playfulness as she held the large wolf's tail, hoping she wouldn’t aggravate him too much, but then again she had to act like a pup once in awhile…
She hadn’t had time to actually act like a pup since the attack and hadn’t had anyone to act like a pup around, she had been too busy trying to grow up in the short weeks since the attack, eating carrion, and tricking small creatures into befriending her so she could eat. An aspect she was not entirely proud of, in fact, she had so hated the concept that the rabbit Yana had caught for her had been her first meal in over 4 days, a long time for a pup of her age to go without eating, and she missed her mother’s warm milk as well as caring touch.
Remembering her mother, Larka gave a sad sigh and abruptly let go of Yana’s tail.

| He noticed her playfully attacking him, but made no motion to stop her. Instead, he half-heartedly made an attempt to pull his tail away, knowing he wasn't putting enough energy into it. It was his way of letting her know that her actions are fine with him. "This was where I left the the pack, and I was curious to see where Jack had gone. We'll have time to introduce you, though, later. I'm sure they'll all welcome you. After all... they did for me."
Larka looked as if in thought when she released her grip. "Your past or the present bothering you?" he questions as the cause for her sudden change in behavior. Remember her stating her parents perished, he said, "You'll won't ever forget your family at your age, but it'll become easier to think about them." He pause to reach back to gently tap her cheek with his nose, as he had observed similar gestures, although those touches had lasted longer. The he added, "Live for your family. I don't know the manner of the situation, but chances are, they want you to remember them, but as good memories. Or at least, that's the trend I notice. You'll be glad you at least knew them, for better or for worse. That's better than others who grew up not knowing, wondering deep in their hearts." He wasn't necessarily worried, but he had little experience in trying to comfort pups, due to his little experience and expose to them. He wondered if they should continue to walk, or whether he should wait until she responded before walking again. Currently, he settled for waiting for her to perk up a little before they continued.

| Larka grinned up at Yana as he spoke, his reassuring tap was welcomed, she was beginning to like this large wolf.
With another small sigh the little she wolf took a deep breath and said, “My past haunts me, but my future scares me. I have, well had, well hopefully still have, a brother, Fell, but he has a dark heart, and a mind for vengeance if I’ve ever saw one, we escaped together, but the river took him, if he lived through the rapids I would expect him to come looking for me. He’s big for his age, and…well…he wouldn’t take kindly to the idea of a new pack” Trying to slow down a bit Larka took another deep breath and with a whimper added, “For my sake, I hope he doesn’t find me...”
With that she trotted over to Yana again, a bit more perky than before, though her eyes still were sad. “Well let’s find your..our…pack then.” And with a little wag of her tail she took the lead, kicking leaves as she did, as if she had not a care in the world, and though she had no idea which way to head, she knew Yana would take the lead soon.

| Yana tilted his head. A brother? he thought. Watching Larka start to walk again, he, too, started to walk again, taking the lead. "Your brother sounds like someone I knew once... You shouldn't do this, but... I kicked him out of my life, although he does linger... If this Fell is like the wolf I knew, the rapids wouldn't kill him. Chances are, he'll wander into a dark pack, drawn to take advantage of their power- even if he isn't keen on joining packs, or just wander in the dry sand. He'll probably take a while to recover and toughen up before he starts to look for you. By that time, I'm sure you'll be ready to encounter him."
It was a while until he noticed Red in the distance, and spotted Liar a little further away. "Red," he called out to his packmate, who was still a distance away.
The maned wolf wasn't waiting for a response- he was more concerned about Liar's well being. He hoped his words would at least encourage her to wait and plan everything out before bounding off to find her missing daughter. It was part of strategy, but Red wished they could have left innocent pups out of this fight. They did nothing wrong to be slaughtered or stolen. Then he heard a familiar voice in the distance, and turned his head, seeing Yana and a pup. He almost looked surprised. By how the other acted, he would never have guessed Yana would be around a pup if he didn't have to. Glancing at Liar, he was unsure about how she'd respond to this turn of events. If Yana was making his way towards Liar, then he was clearly going to ask if she could possibly care for the young one.

| Liar looked at Red nodding her head with every few words agreeing with what he spoke of. "Very true with the fact I should wait, but even more truth comes with our small numbers and if I left to find her... it'd mean leaving her home unprotected for when she does make it back safely..." Liar smiled and looked at softly. "Thank you friend, in a time like this it's always a good thing to have someone to just...talk to" She smiled and touched her nose under his chin, a sign of high respect for the brute between wolves. "And maybe an appology to Jack is in or-" she stopped as Yana's voice broke her words and she saw the pup walking with him. "Poor thing" she said softly and pulled her head down, her ears perked up watching them walk closer. "It's not her though" her ears slightly fell and she looked around as if waiting to see Jack. "A rock and a hard place Red... a rock and a hard place, and yet I don't wanna make any choices without Khalon but we both know why he's coming this way don't we..." she was more speaking to herself and she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. 'you've been tourtured enough...why not help someone else for a change' the words echoed in her own mind and she sighed her own inner defeat and looked back at the pup and Yana. "So very true... can't be a selfish depression forever" her tail wagged as they came closer and she put on a smile and sat up straighter. "And who do you have there dear friend?"... she could do this... her own loss should not effect this pup for if Yana was bringing the pup to get help she didn't want to turn away someone in need... it wasn't her way, she was no longer a wolf of Jabbar and she no longer needed to think that way... life wasn't about her... and that is why she was a healer... a pup watcher and a mother though just not at the moment... | |

| Red could only respond to her inner turmoil with, "Liar... I think Khalon would be fine with what choice you pick. She'll never replace yours, but make the decision with the least regrets."
He turned his expression to that of one that was apologetic as he reached Liar, saying, "I apologize for asking you at a time like this. I found Larka, here, by herself. She has no adult family around," he was careful to be vague about her parents whereabouts, as it was up to Larka herself to tell Liar that her parents were dead or not, "and I thought she might still need a mother figure until she ages more." Thinking she was a bit uncomfortable, he added, "She can hang out with me some of the time." Without hesitation, he stepped closer to Liar, careful to make sure only she was able to hear his next words, "I apologize for any discomfort or offense, but I think Khalon would want your injured self leaving the lands just yet... or even at all. It's your choice, but... Larka's had it rough lately. Maybe you can help one another somehow, if only as companionship."
Stepping back so he was standing next to Larka again, he bent his head down closer to her level and said, "Larka, this is Liar, who I was talking about earlier." Then he dramatically moved his head a little closer to her ear and whispered in a loud voice, "Don't mistake that wolf over there as a fox. His name's Red, and doesn't take well to being called a fox." Yana smirked when he noticed Red's eyes playfully glaring at him. Apparently, Red was going to take it in good humor since Yana was actually trying to make Larka feel more comfortable with them. Straightening back up, still smirking, he was quite happy to be messing around with his packmates again. It lightened the mood, for him at least, from the recent events.

| Liar smiled as Yana spoke softly in her ear. She'd lie a little now as if what he said was about Larka herself. "So you're a smart pup huh?" she bent down and looked at her with soft eyes. "You're more then welcome to stay around with me and my mate, his names Khalon, and when we get to settle down you'll get to me Jack, my father, he's the alpha, and Yana here, he'll still hang around. Red will too, and no, he's not a fox, he's just funny looking for a wolf" she winked at Red then looked at Larka. "I like your name, Larka, it's like mine. Liar, we both start the same sound. How cool" she smiled at her and bent down till she was laying infront of her. | |

Larka padded along after Yana, listening to him talk of his brother, maybe she should just forget about Fell, poor lonely Fell, maybe he would find a place to call home to.
Yana’s words brought her back from her deep thoughts, though he was no longer talking to her.
A red wolf, looking somewhat like a very handsome fox was there, as was a very beautiful she wolf. Larka walked quietly next to Yana, eyes looking intently at the strange wolves, waiting to see their reactions before she spoke.
Larka listened to the adults speak amongst themselves, patiently waiting for her turn, much unlike her nature, but this was not her pack yet and not her land, she knew better than to interrupt conversations that were not hers to interrupt.
As Yana stepped away to talk to the she wolf Larka stayed where she was, ears twitching nervously as she waited.
When Yana finally came back to her and to talk, Larka still said nothing, cocking her ears toward his muzzle as she spoke. As Yana spoke of the large wolf called Red, Larka made a small giggle and grinned in Red’s direction.
Larka was beginning to like these wolves and hoped they had a bright future in store for them.
Suddenly the she wolf called Liar was in front of her, talking softly in a reassuring tone, much like Larka’s own mother had done often. When Liar finally was laying in front of Larka’s little face and had finished talking, Larka made a little whimpering noise and softly touched her small muzzle to Liar’s, eyes gleaming with interest.
“Hi Liar, I’m Larka, though you know that already.” The small pup said with a bashful grin, “Glad to meet you, I know we’ll be great friends.”
With another little grin Larka looked in Red’s direction then shot a quick glance at Yana before focusing again on Liar, still in front of her.
Keeping her eyes locked on Liar’s Larka wagged her tail and said, to no one in particular, “I am eager to meet this Khalon and the alpha, are there others besides them? .”

| Liar smiled and licked Larka's nose. " first things first Larka, you may always look me in the eyes like you are now but no one else. You'll learn when you get older, and second, there are SO many wolves around here. Kinda, at the moment there are few on a little adventure, like the ones we'll have. And third...bath time" she smiled and looked at the two brutes. "Join us? you two stink worse then us ladies" she smiled and winked at Larka. "Follow me" she said softly and stood up. The brutes knew why Liar asked them to follow and she waited for them too. "Larka, are you ready? Do you know how to swim?" she smiled and waited for the pup to follow... and her tail wagged... | |

| Larka wagged her tail when Liar licked her nose, nodding her head as Liar talked, knowing she was right. To stare was to challenge, and the last thing Larka needed was a challenger.
Getting up to follow Liar, Larka responded “Swim…yes I know how, but I am not too fond of getting wet, the last I saw my brother he was being taken down a river, rapids all around him,” Larka said in a soft voice. Though she knew that she needed a bath dearly after her travels, and after all she was a good swimmer.
Shaking her head to clear her thoughts Larka glaced back to see if Yana and Red were coming too before she bounded after Liar, yipping a little as she did so.
Larka was eager to see where the she wolf was taking her.

| Red smiled at the exchange between them. Liar spoke of getting a bath, and he replied, "I don't think we're that bad, eh, Yana? Besides, it might be more offensive for the ladies of the pack if us guys smelled nicer." Still, he followed, remembering Liar's unease. He waited until Yana was walking next to him before asking, "I guess your patrol went fine while it lasted?"
Yana was pleased to see Larka look happier. Liar was willing to take her in, too, although the pack would definitely help out. He laughed at the comments being thrown around, and responded, naturally siding with his male packmate, "I'd have to agree with Red. It's part of our natural charm to attract the ladies, although since neither of us have a mate, I guess we might as well..." He was trailing behind Liar and Larka, walking with Red.
After hearing his question, he responded quietly, "Yeah. I was thinking about setting up some... surprises, if I could. Honestly, nothing might happen for a long time, and we need to remember that, as we can't constantly be on our highest alert possible."

| Liar pursed her lips and thought for a second and then smiled. "I'm sorry to hear that but the good news is where we're going is no rapids, no fast moving water, and it's still" She smiled to Larka and kept walking, they weren't that far from the water and they came upon the small pool that was brought in by the ocean and filtered here. "And yes, you two need a bath" she looked back at Red and Yana giving them and eye for fun and not for business she had heard them talking and wished them to relax a bit so she herself could... | |

| Khalon limped, exhausted, into the lands of the Black Pearl, but his gaze was clear and his tail was raised. It had been slow going, but finally he was home. Liar was here, safe, and their pup too was alright, though among strangers. He felt, for some reason, she would not be harmed, for what good would that do? He would see Jack, and this whole nightmare would be over. He had to believe that, and so he did.
Determined, he began an attempt to locate his mate, suddenly needing more than anything to see her beautiful face. He had promised, and so would keep his word. She would be first, then Jack. There were some things that preceded even the hierarchy of the pack, at least in Kal's mind. Walking, for he was about run out, he made his way deeper into the territory, heading for the lake. He could tell that this was where the pack mostly was, and he knew that she would not be allowed to go off on her own. Nor, hopefully, would she desire to. Although he knew her most likely safe, he still feared. With so much, it was hard not to.
"Liar!" She was near, he could sense her. Speeding up a bit, he waited until she passed into sight, then broke out into a jagged run, energized anew. "Liar, I found her. She's safe. I could not reach her on my own, but she is safe." He buried his head in her pelt, so glad that he was back yet wishing that he could have brought her back as well. "Oh, love, I'm so sorry for going." He lifted his head, eyes meeting hers for a few moments before he took note of the others with them. He looked curiously at the new pup, passing a nod to Yana. He would thank him later, for he was sure that the bru was not there with Liar simply by chance. He was glad to have a family so loving and supportive, and it filled him with a new confidence. There was no way that she would not be back soon. The Pearl would not lose one of their own so easily.

| Larka followed Liar happily, listening to her reassuring words with intent.
As the pool of water came into view Larka gave a little yip of joy and nudged Liar playfully, “It’s beautiful.” The pup sighed. Then glancing back at Red and Yana with a grin, she said “Yes, I will agree with Liar that you two do have an odor about you.”
Larka was finally beginning to smile again, without trying, she felt safe, and at home with this small band of wolves, something she hadn’t felt since the loss of her pack.
Suddently Larka stopped, she could smell the other wolf before the brute came into view, as he headed toward Liar, Larka gave a warning growl, which she tried to swallow upon seeing the expression of Liar. This brute must be part of the pack, stepping back from Liar a bit; Larka stared up at the new wolf with a shy smile.
“Hi, I’m Larka.” She said as the brute peered down at her with a curious look.

| Liar smiled down at Larka with her remark of how beautiful the water was. She nudged the pup into the water and followed her in. With the calling of her name she became alert. The voice, the smell... she turned and stepped infront of Larka when she came closer, she knew him from the inside out but wasn't too sure on his reaction to Larka. He embraced her and she took in his deep scent as if trying to remember him again, and then there was Muerta in the mixture and she gave a slight whimper. "You found her and tried..." she let out a sigh and looked down at Larka when she spoke up to Khalon. "She's coming to stay with us, her family is gone and Yana found her on his scouting, We were all about to take a bath before a nap for her. And now that you're here first things first" She stepped back and looked him over slowly taking in the wounds along his body she hadn't seen really since he had come back from the fight with who... his sister? She couldn't remember, the wounds were fresh and so were so many others but it seemed like moons ago that he had come back and everything had happened and he had left. "You need to get in the water and wash out the wounds, we'll help you too. And these...need to be re-opened... It's going to hurt, but before any infection gets to your blood love you need to do this" She gave him a soft smile and then touched her nose to his cheek. | |

| Larka eyed the adults curiously, the pup noticed the wounds on the new brute and whimpered softly, pushing closer to Liar.
Then with a sigh, the pup pulled away from the she wolf and waded into the pool, feeling her muscles flex as she paddled deeper into the pool.
Turning back so she was facing the shore she yipped playfully, forgetting her worries in the cool crisp water.
She eyed the other wolves waiting for them to join her.

| Red nodded at Liar, in a gesture of understanding, and stepped into the cool water. He looked up as he smiled. It'd been a while since he'd seen Khalon. He moved a bit further into the depths of the small body of water and ducked his head under its surface. He swam over towards Larka, and turned direction so he could flick his tail and cause a small splash of water to sprinkle on her, to give Khalon and Liar a bit of time to talk first.
Yana noticed Khalon before he entered the water, and watched, curious to see how his pack mate had faired. His observant eyes could tell older injuries from fresh ones, so he turned back, noticing Larka and now Red were already there, the older wolf seemingly starting a splash war with the pup.
With one last glance back at the mated pair, he turned towards the calling water. He noticed in approval that some of the sand still stuck to his pelt was loosening its grip and falling away. For a few seconds, he swam a distance from the other two, periodically swimming down deep to help getting the dirt out. Resurfacing, he wondered how Khalon would take to Larka, although he only really had to be fine with Larka's presence with Liar for some time each day, as the pup could stay with anyone during the nights, so he wasn't worried. Pushing the thoughts aside, he swam towards Red and Larka, saying, "Leaving me out of a water fight?" He nipped Red by the ear, pulling the other down while sending a wave of water towards his face before letting his grip go.

| Larka yipped in excitement and splashed water back at Red with a grin.
Larka watched Yana swim toward her and Red, and she would have warned Red but didn’t seem to think of it fast enough. She watched the two adults wrestle in the water and with a little giggle started to swim closer.
“Don’t pull me under too Yana, I might just have to rip your tail off.” Larka said with a smirk showing her baby teeth at him playfully.
Larka looked back to see if Liar would join them, hoping the appearance of her mate hadn’t made her forget about Larka.
With a little whimper Larka turned back to Red and Yana.

| Liar looked at her mate thoughtfull and smiled at him softly. Her nose reached out and she touched his cheek softly. "Come in the water when you can" She left him with that and turned towards the water catching Larka's whimper and pushing herself in. "You okay dear?" she said softly and nosed her under the chin. "Or is Red and Yana going to push you under" she smirked at the two brutes and licked Larka on the cheek before pushing her softly towards a wake caused by Yana and Reds playtime. | |

| Yana chuckled at Larka's comment as he flicked his own tail towards Red, splashing only a bit of water on the other in retaliation to the maned wolf's next attack. "I'll be sure not to attack you, then," he replied. He saw her glance to Liar, noticing she had gotten attached to her new mother-figure quite quickly. When pushed back towards him and Red, Yana swept his tail again, this time, sending a slightly larger splash of water on her than Red had. He looked as her, as if asking what she was going to do about those type of attacks while slowly backing up in the water.
Red swam a distance from the other, kicking a spray of water at Yana. He, too, had similar observations from Yana, but he didn't think twice about it. He watched as his pack mate splashed water on Larka, grinning when he started to back away. "What's wrong, Yana? Running away from Larka?" he jested, watching to see what would happen.

| Larka gave a little happy pup yip as Liar nudged her, then as Liar pushed her toward the wake Larka spun around splashing water toward Liar and with a little playful growl paddled over toward Red and Yana.
With a grin Larka splashed water toward Yana and said with a grin, “He has good sense to run from the likes of me, for I am a water pup who will get him.” Then with a chuckle Larka suddenly turned and leaped at Red. “You had better run from me too, or lose your tail.” With that Larka made a little pup growl and nipped at Red’s tail with her sharp baby teeth before splashing more water on him.
Larka was beginning to actually enjoy herself again and her new found family. She had almost completely forgotten of her lost brother that was certainly in search of her at this very instant, with a heart full of rage and a mind full of hatred and vengeance….

| Red chuckled when Larka attached herself to his tail and said dramatically, "Oh no! This poor old wolf is being mauled a vicious water pup!" When she splashed water on him, he made an act of sinking, only to swim under the pup, surface, and playfully swipe at her ears. "Some help you are, Yana," he said as used his tail to flick some water on said wolf.
Smirking, Yana watched the two. Looking offended at Red's comment, he said, "There's nothing I can do against a fearsome water pup, so why put myself at risk, when she'll get both me and you? You're my decoy!" Laughing, he swam closer, and said, "But since you're still alive..." He swiped the water's surface, effectively spraying water towards both Red and Larka.

| Tristan had stayed a bit longer than expected, though lingering away from the pack. He had no intention of mingling or rejoining, and just figured that something in him wanted to see to it that Liar healed up. Her mate had returned, and it seemed that they had taken yet another pup under their wing. Most of him said that they were just doing what was right, just caring for a stray. But the ever growing bitterness within told screamed disposable, replaceable, and all manner of ugly things. Liar one replacement, a replacement that didn't even go to him, and now this Larka for their one newborn. He scoffed and turned away from the river. Too close for comfort. When the hell did he get out of here? How the hell did he get out of here? Even though he could leave when he pleased, something about this place just made him feel... trapped.
As he stalked off to nowhere in particular, a noise caught his attentions. Racing footfalls. Was that his name being called? As the figure approached, he vaguely recognized the bru from Hamara. He pulled his brows together, noting the brown hessian's expression fraught with worry. A silent glance from his good eye demanded the younger one's name. "Casanova," he gasped, trying to catch his breath. "Tristan... there's danger. In Hamara. You're needed." "And what business do I have there? That place is no longer my home. And what use am I?" He turned away with a curled lip, prepared to limp away as usual, embittered and none the happier. "No, you don't understand. Your pups' lives are at risk." Tristan whipped around suddenly, face thrust into Casanova's. "My pups? Risk of what? Speak!" He did his best not to flinch at the sudden snap, the intensity. "A stranger. Some crazed loner... I, I don't know much. One is already dead." The last words he spoke with regret, looking to the ground. The elder bru snarled to himself, held back an outburst and onslaught of violence and curses, braced for a run. "And Tellika?" He gulped once. "Dead." The snarl tore into the air, and Tristan, wordless, was off and running as fast as his three legs could carry him. Back to Hamara. He would be damned if he lost his children again. Casanova found himself surprised at first to be behind the bru, struggling to keep up with him, but soon caught up and loped beside him the rest of the way. Something had welled up in him. The idea of another chance, the ability to redeem himself and all he had lost... to care for these little ones. If only he could make it in time... As of now he was leaving the Pearl behind for good. And depending on the outcome of the coming events, his alliance, his fate would be decided.

| Liar had stopped playing and pulled herself from the water. "Larka. Come, it's time to go into the den" she could see her breath and looked at Khalon. "You need to wash... before those get bad, we'll be in the den" she smiled to him, kissed him, whispered words of love in his ear then turned awaiting for Liar. "And you two, bed time..." she winked knowing full well they could handle themselves. It was when she turned to head to her den that she paused... She couldn't go there... Her body moved else where instead. Jack and Calypso. Her mother wasn't here, her father... she didn't know where he was since he had left, and other then that. Her mind kinda spun as she stood waiting. Nothing more... she looked around slightly then eyed Yana. "Yana...come here please" she said softly but didn't wait for him. "I need you to take Larka to a den. I know this is my job, as a mother here, but there is something I need to do. Would you please..." she sighed and without a word she turned looking at Khalon then departing. She didn't know where she was going, but she had to get there, somehow. She had to find her... she wanted her. Larka was a doll, a sweet thing, but he wasn't her daughter. She just wanted her, and as long as that feeling was in her stomach that her little self and Khalon's self were alive, she couldn't stop... she needed her if she wanted to stay alive, without her, there was no life. Feeling like a moment of betrayal Liar turned herself around at the boarder. Her maw parted and she howled out to the wolves of Black Pearl. Letting them know her love, and she'd return soon. "Sorry father" she said as she skipped one more beat and left the lands heading for...well she didn't know where. | |

| To Yana, Liar looked well enough, considering what happened until one moment. He approached her as she continued her request. He replied, "I'll take her to where I normally sleep. Whatever you're doing, stay safe." He wasn't confident what was bothering her until she had vanished, sending a howl to tell them of her leaving the lands to return soon. In his mind, he thought I hope you come back with your daughter, if that's what you're doing, Liar...
Tearing his gaze from the direction Liar left, he looked to Larka, and said, "Come on, it's time for you to take a nap. You'll be staying with me until Liar comes back."

| Jack was not far off when he heard the howl of Liar and he snarled throwing himself into a run towards where she was. Body bounded through the trees but when he arrived she had already left. Snarling again he ran a few meters outside of the pack territory but it was clear she had made haste to get away from the Pearl. Dammit Liar! He could not follow her and leave his pack. Snarling again he turned around and headed back to the pack, he had marked the borders enough for the day. Running all the way back his chest was pumping and he made a clipped howl calling anyone nearby to come and speak with him. Where the hell did she go? He was irritated and without his mate there was no one to calm his nerves. Jack was on edge with all that was happening and he could not afford to have his pack scattered. He needed to send for Calypso as soon as possible.. | |
