It was silent, save the soft noise of crunching paw steps within the cold icy layers of snow. Although each time a mitt touched the white frosty ground, it was if the sound changed tones just lightly. No two steps taken sounding alike as the figure moved along the rough and barren terrain. A trail of paw prints being left with the female's procession. Her thick bushy tail rose, attempting to bat away the frosty snow that clung to the long grasses. Patches of white sticking to her coat, dampening the thick fur pelt made up of multiple colors. As a result, it melted slowly, creating odd patches along her body that stood out on end in some places, and pressed tightly against her canine body in others.

The weather was permitting for the trek, but mother nature seemed to grant only so much as the wind howled through the air, almost echoing off the empty space around her. The wolf’s bright set of blue eyes defiantly glistening as Eden scoured the area around her. Narrowing against the cold breeze as locks of black and tawny fur ruffled this way and that in a sway that followed the winds' pattern. Great day for a stroll... She thought dryly, pointed ears keenly pressing foreword atop of her skull. Twitching as they listened to the sound of a bird's call, the rustle of the grass. She felt her stomach rumble and a scowl formed on her canine features. Not a hare or bird in sight - at this rate, she was bound to be stuck with some form of carrion again. Great... just great...

She was being watched, watched since she had stepped foot within a hundred yards of this place. Sure to most it would seem that there was no place you could stand or sit without being seen. But these lands, they were apart of his blood now and when he wished to be hidden it would so happen. While the winter had encroached on the lands the effects were mild compared to all of the pack lands. His ears twitched as his eyes tracked her form, weary. She looked like most of the lone wolves that washed up on these lands. Tired and hungry. Intrigue had lit up in him when he saw her and that happened on occasion. There weren't many things to do here save observing and every so often he would find interest in his study subject.

Cocking his head he stalked forward eyes keenly on the prize. He lengthened his stride, his breath fogging the air in front of him. He was not making an effort to be silent but neither was he making much noise. A predator true to his core but this time he was not stalking prey, or was he? A smile graced his face and it made him look devilish in a charming way. He was a handsome enough wolf, broad shoulders, thick frame but not overtly bulky. Within twenty yards he let out a harsh yip to catch her attention because he came from behind. The goal was not to scare her off. What the goal was he was unsure but it never hurt to have a little casual conversation.

Approaching, his flaxen gaze twinkled in amusement, tongue lolling out of his mouth. Snapping his jaw in a goofy manner his features composed themselves into a friendly face. "Hail stranger, might I stop you for a chat?" His tone was confident but not overly arrogant. He was sure of himself and many said that would be his downfall. Well it had yet to happen so he lived another day to bother a roaming soul.

Ooc-Blehhh, Been awhile since I rped this charrie, I'm rusty. =)
