The thick undergrowth grabbed at her fur as Sarasota weaved her way through it. Her breath was coming out in clouds in the crisp morning air but she didn't feel a bit cold. Not with her lush black coat. Her paws making little to no noise as she padded through the brush. She heard a snap of a twig to the left and she froze, her hackles rose and she bared her teeth slightly ready for the attack. All she could her was her heart beating, she gave a small snort and pressed on hoping to reach a safe spot to rest. She had been on the move since yesterday morning and she was tired and beginning to slow. Her amber eyes flickered left and right and every now and then she would stop to sniff the air to see what lurked around her. She wasn't worried so much about another animal that would hurt her but more worried about another male wolf smelling her. She was in heat and depending who the male wolf was he would either force her to join his pack and force a mating or her would let her go. She was looking for a mate but pushing her into it was not the way to win her heart. She came a clearing where there was a stream running through it. She sighed in relief and quickly jogged over to it and began lapping at the water. Her ears twitched at every little noise, she was an alpha female and she knew how to protect herself and a pack. Though she hadn't been in a pack for over a year.... After her belly was full of water she layed down on the soft moss and left sleep envelope her...............

Ruin

Pain... Ruin wanted he could kill it. It rushed through his face, agony pulsing constantly. he had felt like this for years now. His right side of his face was tangling mass of scar tissue, with an eye that had never really healed. His row of blood-red teeth was always visible, even with his mouth closed shut. It gave him an fearfull, if not terrifying look, and many wolves who met him shunned him or looked at him in disgust. Few dared to challenge him though, and fewwer could still tell the tale. But bloody revenge on somebody who was long gone wasn't why he was here. Ruin was here to find something to ease the pain, such as love, comfort and friendship. His instincts had driven him on to this place, and now they told him there was a femme close by. So the scorched black brute made is way onward, while letting out a howl, deep, but with a glee off sorrow and loneliness.

She twitched from her sleep and scrabbled to all fours. She listened to the lonely howl her ears pivoting forward trying to figure out the location of where the lone wolfs howl came from. Her tail raised behind her in dominance but she was on edge. She was worried that she had encroched on another pack territory even though she had never smelled any scent markings she didnt want to be attacked. She could handle one wolf but a gang would surely kill her.... She sighed and lifted her head back and let a sorrowful howl of her own rip through the night sky. When she was finished with her song her amber eyes searched the trees beyond in search for the wolf.

Ruin's body moved towards the source of the song, moving fast, but slowing down when he reached the tree line. He crossed it, at an easy pace, his glowing red eyes taking in the form before him. A femme, with a midnight coat, just as him, but his was short, and interupted by scars, whereas hers was long and seemingly perfect. His eyes locked on hers, but he didn't knew what to say. He wanted to see her reaction on his scarred, deformed appearance first, so he could tell whether it was worth it or not.

Her head moved to the direction of where she heard muffled movement. She waited anxiously to see who would step out of the tree line. She raised her head to sniff the air, she smelled a male. She dug her claws into the ground ready to bolt if she needed to. Her tail raised in a dominance stance and her ears strained forward while her eyes searched the tree line. Out stepped was a large male with a black coat like hers but it was shorter. She scanned over his body with interest. She noted the scars and his face. None of it bothered her but it made her curious and she had a strange feeling of wanting to nuzzle him but she stood her ground unsure of how this wolf would react to her if she was infact encroaching on his territory. She lowered her head a bit indicating that she was no threat to him but kept her tail raised in warning. She sighed "my name is Sarasota" she said softly keeping her tone even. She looked around "I hope I'm not envading your territory... I did not smell any scent marks, so I thought it would be safe for me to stay here" she said her tone breaking off in the end.

y[color=darkred]]"No need to panic, I am just a stranger in these lands like you." His voice as remarkably clear, and he spoke in a friedly, inviting way. "I don't think these lands are claimed by anyone actually." He moved closer to her, but still at a comfortable distance. She hadn't gave a visible reaction on his appearance, and that was enough for him. He found it vital to judge on what was inside, not the outside. He had made that fault long ago, and he had paid for it dearly. Shaking of fragmented memories of his past, he tried starting a conversation with her, to made them both relax. "So...ehm... On your way to somewhere?"
