The large black wolf pup stalked through the land, trying to find her scent, trying to get a trace of it, anything just to get a lead on her. Fell’s sister, Larka, had been missing for days now, and his leg still hurt from the rapids that the river had so ‘kindly’ took him through before he had lost her. No before they had been separated, he refused to think that he had lost her. He had already lost everyone else, he couldn’t lose her.

With a growl he limped toward a tree to rest. Maybe after he slept for a bit he would be able to clear his head and start tracking her again, he had caught her scent at the border, but was unsure where it had went from there, there were just too many wolf scents in this area, wherever he was.

Throwing himself down near the tree Fell rested his head on his paws and stared off into the distance, waiting for sleep to take hold. But he knew it would not come easily. His eyes were filled with darkness and vengeance and his heart was clouded with pain. If he could not find Larka, then he would take his revenge out on those he could find, even if they weren’t the exact wolves who had taken his pack from him, he would have revenge, one way or another…

Pride slipped with silent yet powerful paw-steps, his cold green eyes traveled across the distance. The same scenery repeated.

How boring.

His night black pelt reflected against the sunlight, his ears perked up to the sound of a river. He shook his ruffled pelt and continued on. It was quiet, nothing to scent, no prey, no wolf. His mouth opened suddenly.
No... There is a wolf.

Pride closed his eyes and opened his mouth to scent the air, close by and fresh. His sharp senses easily could tell it was male and a pup. He snorted. A pup, no fun killing. But somehow he could sense the dark aura...

This pup could be a killer some-day...

Pride followed the scent of the brute, leaping easily over a small boulder in his way. His eyes caught the shape of a wolf pup, small and he looked somehow a bit 'damp.' He padded towards the wolf not even being cautious.

He watched the black pup from a couple of lengths away, he was sure the pup could see him too.

What will you do now, pup?

As Fell tried to get some rest he thought of the attack and the river, of everything that had turned against him, and then he thought of Larka, he needed to find her soon or he would go mad with rage….

As sleep would not take him Fell started on cleaning his thick black pelt, still damp from the rapids, though that had been at least a day ago. His leg burned with pain, though he could ignore that. He knew it wasn’t broken, just bruised a little from the rocks. With a snort he turned away from his grooming to sniff the air….the scent of an unknown wolf drifted to him.

Fell could tell the wolf, a male, was close, and yet made no move to run. He was well aware of what large adult males could do to strange pups, but he was no ordinary pup…

Fell’s dark eyes gleamed with interest as his muzzle tried to locate the wolf’s scent. Then suddenly he was there, not more than a few paces from Fell. The large black male peered at him with green eyes, as cold as Fell’s.

Fell knew that the wolf could see him. With a grunt the large black pup jumped up and shaking his still damp coat took a few steps forward, baring his teeth just a little.

“And who…may you be?” Fell asked with a growl, trying to show he wasn’t just a pup, but a very pissed off alpha pup on a mission, his dark eyes never leaving the large male’s, for he know to show submission was certain death....

Pride watched with eyes that burned, the black pup was large for his age. His pelt looked thick and heavy and yet damp. He watched as the Pup cleaned his leg.

Pride watched as the Pup noticed him but made no signs of being scared or preparing to escape. He twitched his black ears in somehow acknowledging the pup for his bravery. But he knew this pup had something in common to himself, while still watching the pup he noticed the black pup stand and make it's way towards him.

The pup bared it's teeth, just a little towards him. "Who may you be?"

Pride flicked his tail in response and answered, his voice smooth and unshaking, cold as flint stones.
"Pride." His eyes looked into the pup's, he was saying he was not a pup anymore. He was ready to take on any wolf if he had to. Those eyes of a killer to-be.

His eyes were cold, frozen time, they glowed with hatred and vain. Salvation doesn't come. No matter how long you wait, it never will.
"And you?" Pride broke the silence. "Those eyes, they look too familiar to forget."

Fell stepped closer to the stranger, tail and head held high, pure Alpha; making sure not to make his injured leg stand out.

“Well Pride, what are you staring at?” Fell said with a snarl, rising the hair along the nape of his neck, trying to appear even bigger.

Relaxing a bit Fell grunted, “I am called Fell, and I doubt you are familiar with my eyes…I’m not from around these parts.”

Never taking his eyes off Pride Fell stood his ground, solid, chest muscles bulging, and dark eyes ever alert.

He had a feeling that he had more incommon with this wolf than he knew.

Perhaps he had found an alley for his revenge plan...

His experience told him this pup was not any wolf. He had an aura of darkness around him, a killer aura. But if controlled properly, he would also make an alpha.

Descendant of alpha.

The word Alpha made his mouth sour. Pride smiled slightly when the black pup showed ignorance, stubbornly trying to not make his injured leg stand out. It was obvious to Pride, as a hunter, he could easily tell when prey is weakened.
Pride didn't blink to the Pup's snarl, he had seen many snarl and many growl. He was used to it already, the pup's fur rising made him just a little bit bigger than before. But he was still damp.

Pride saw the pup relax a bit,

Fell.

His ears flicked and he spoke after a while of silence. "I've never heard of "Fell" Before. It's a good name." He added abruptly. Pride could tell that Fell was stronger than other pups. His father must have been great, those muscle builds and alert eyes.
"Why are you out here alone?" Pride asked his tone still smooth as always, "You have an aura of an Alpha. An Alpha doesn't leave his offspring out here."

Fell watched Pride carefully, he could tell that this wolf was not fooled by his pretending and was well aware that Fell was injured. He was also starting to think that this wolf could be a friend or a foe depending on how Fell played it…

“Well my alpha, my father, is dead, so I guess he didn’t have a choice,” Fell said with a little snarl, “My entire pack is gone, except for one, my sister, I was tracking her before I had to rest.”

Fell wasn’t sure why he had told Pride that, but somehow felt it was a good choice. With that Fell flopped down, allowing his leg to rest, still ever watchful of Pride.

As Fell rested he couldn't help but become restless. He needed to find her. If it was the lat thing he did...
With a grunt and a small growl, the large pup got up and tured to look back at Pride saying, "Well I have to keep moving, time is running out I fer, and I have to find my sister before some mangy pack does, your welcome to tag along if you want I guess, though don't know why I would need any compay..." Fell gruntd as he said this and started limping in the direction he had last scented Larka.
Glancing over his shoulder to see if Pride would follow, in a way Fell hoped he would, he could use the company and extra nose, and sensed as much darkness in this wolf as he felt....
