| "This right here, this is your honor. No matter how others may disrespect it, or how much you try to hide it, this is you."Coming from her, it sounded like the wisest words in the world. And they very well could have been. He lifted a brow, let the smile return to his face. "I suppose that's what I gained from my father." 'Pure that he was.' Perhaps it was only a temporary feeling, but he suddenly didn't hate him quite so much anymore. He began not to hate himself so much. With a new found resolution, he lowered himself back to the ground, curling gently behind Temptation. Vega's muzzle still rested on her head, his voice a whisper after a kiss to the back of her ear. "Thank you. For saying that. I think I feel a little more liberated now." He nuzzled her with saturated affection. "You won't have to hunt me down. You've already claimed my heart. I only have to claim yours in return... unless I already have?" His head peeked around her face, waiting. This wasn't the first time he had asked a fae to be his, having taken Morgan's sister before, but even then their relationship wasn't as strong as this one. He had a feeling he knew what her answer would be, but he was still so anxious to find out. Anticipation stirred, eradicating the blackness. There was so much he wanted right now, it made his head spin. | |

| Temptation watched his features, relieved to see them once again lighten and his mood grow happier. As his lips released a whisper of his past history, she smiled in response, glad that he was willing to share such things with her. Some brus were oddly closed-mouthed when it came to that sort of thing. Then again, at the moment, she knew that she wouldn't be filling him in anytime soon. It was better to let such things lie as they were. Her childhood stories would hardly add to the romantic air, anyway.
His chin found a resting place upon her head and she sighed, cushioning her own chin upon a small ivory paw. He was curled behind her, and his warmth made a matching sensation bloom within her chest, spreading out to add to the sun's luxurious heat. She did not respond to his thanks, for the words were unnecessary. No gratitude was needed, for she had merely spoken the truth, and such a thing did not take much effort or thought.
His next statement, however, demanded a response, and she grinned. "Well, that's good, for your legs are so much longer than mine, I'm not sure that I would be able to catch you if you ran." She closed her eyes, savoring the moment. His sweet words hung in the air, and she rolled them over in her mind for a moment before truly answering his question. "And though I have known you not even a day, I can already say that I feel more comfortable in your presence than any I have ever experienced. I don't know that it is love quite yet..." She opened her eyes, looking down at his paw next to hers, "but it's as close as I have ever been."
Hopefully that was what he wished to hear. It was too soon for her to tell for sure, but she was sure that, were he to stick around, the answer would inevidably come to her.

| OOC: Your first post on here is gone... =\ The bru nodded knowingly at Temptation's response, in agreement with what she told him. "That's all I need to hear." Something of a purr came from him as he curled, closer, tighter, savoring the warmth of their bodies and the sun as she did. Another nudge to her crown as he adjusted his place. "Dearest Temptation, what are we to do with the rest of this sun? We should find something to do now that we've poured our hearts out." His mood had finally returned in full. Vega nipped at her playfully, fangs meeting the skin at her neck as they had before. "I mean, we really can't just sit here and mope about each other all mushy for the rest of this gorgeous day, can we?" His tail hit the rock with dull, brush-like thuds as the sensation from earlier came back. She had made him feel better and he was slowly but surely willing to get back to where they were after he had deviated from their activity. No matter how touchy-feely he got, he couldn't deny who he was: a darkly romantic fool. "Any ideas in mind, my white maiden?" | |

| His words put her at ease once more, for he accepted them without a fight. Some brus would have demanded a straight answer, but he accepted it with a nod and a grace that was unexpected. Perhaps he knew it was truth, for she would not give him an empty promise of love. A chance was better than a lie. She accepted his move to get closer, cuddling up herself, loving how much larger he was. Her petite, almost fox-like build fit comfortably against his, and she sighed, content.
Slowly, however, her restlessness returned, and she was more than read when he offered an alternative activity. Slowly her smile grew into a grin, and she returned his nips with a bat at his nose. "Men, always wanting more." She softly bit his cheek, teeth not breaking skin, carefully controlled. "But I suppose I can arrange something. After all, there are all sorts of options." Her grin grew into a smirk. Her tail whipped sideways as she too grew ready, the delicious feeling flowing through her once more, sending her blood racing. Her wit was not affected, though her voice was lower, full of desire. "The one I have in mind, however, may force you to find me a new nickname."

| I won't give up, I'm possessed by her... Vega's massive pads, front and back, pressed against Temptation's spine, kneaded along it for just a moment as he stretched his back. He did not stand, but his body raised slightly above the ground. "Men, always wanting more." He chuckled aloud. "What can I say, love? I am weak." A flash of his fangs as his tawny daggers dug rivulets into the surface of the stone. At her bite he raised his head, closed his eyes, relished the feeling against his skin. He could feel the air move from the swipes of her alabaster tail. He began to move his coal-hued one in turn, touching gently against her. Her lyrics felt like a beautiful ballad to his ears, no matter their heated intentions. His optics opened, and a growling laugh emerged between his teeth. "Within Temptation, you may arrange whatever you wish." A slow, drawn out nuzzle mixed his musk with hers, allowed him to take in her perfume. "And I am more than excited to give you a new calling. From what your lips promise, white maiden is far too innocent for a tentant doamnă like yourself." The toungue of his native home shone through for a moment. Vega felt like now was a most opportune time to add a little more suavity to his mannerisms. 'Tempting lady... I could have done better.' I want you Oh how I wanted you And I need you Oh how I needed you... OOC: Hehe, trying some side lyrics. Muahaha. | |

| Ahh. . . What a scent. It seemed that she had only come into these lands herself a few months ago. Well, obviously for the same reason. Or maybe not. The bru had been stupid and foolish, and she had needed to waste time.
Perhaps the bru her sister seemed to be fancying now was a waste of time as well. She was always the more promiscuous one of the family - or at least, it certainly seemed like it. She guessed it was only because Temptation always wanted a happy family or something. Well. She never quite had her head on straight, because no all families turn out happy. The girl never seemed to take a look at her own.
And it was because she turned her back that Evon was now sneaking her out. Betrayals seemed to be the new fashion in Lacrimosa, what with the revolts and the killings, but the pack would live on. Evon held it in her duty to be so. For that, she needed support.
Upper lip curled at the site of the bru - He really wasn't that handsome. Temptation must have been desperate, obviously. The wolves in these lands were never ones to be fancied. She smiled, with a flick of the tail, standing on the crest of a hill before the two wolves.
"Hello, sister dear." | |

| OOC: Ouch! Bruising Vega's ego, Silvers! Not that handsome? You'd make him cry. XD Vega was ready to pass another kiss to Temptation, relishing their precious moments. But a much unneeded interruption stopped his motion. A second femme, white as his lover, decided to interrupt. And to make things worse, she didn't seem like her intentions for conversation were exactly friendly. He stood, a growl forming deep in his throat as he curled half of his lip. A roll of the eyes added on, and he was sure she would get the idea that he wasn't happy with her presence. His Sapphire optics met her own, far from menacing but definitely inferring a challenge. He was anything but excited about this. Anyone posing a threat to Temptation was going to be dealt with. And this femme was getting his blood to boil in the worst way. The warmth in his body left him immediately. The knot in his stomach came back so fast that it almost made him jerk forward and get sick. The cold washed over him, irises going hard like ice. The beast he was before Temptation had surfaced. Hackles began to raise, but he made no move to show his teeth or attack. His massive form was stiff, sinew visible beneath the skin and fur that concealed it beneath his pillars. Whoever this woman was, she was no friend of his lover's. Of this he was certain. He knew his bad attitude would have no effect on her, but it was all he could do to show his true nature to a stranger. 'I couldn't give a sh.it if she takes me seriously.' His voice dripped contempt, a developing hatred for the alabaster banshee when he finally chose to lend his harsh lyrics to her ears."Come to crash the party, have you?" | |

| She had to laugh as he responded. "Let's hope you aren't too weak. I would hate for this to not last long..." Oh, she was enjoying this immensely, the bantering combined with the affectionate movements. it was all she could do to wait for it. He continued, calling her a name in a foreign tongue, and it sent a shiver down her back. Tentant doamnă. She did not know what this term meant, but it did not matter, for at the moment, she was quickly tiring of talk.
"I say that we arrange later. For now, I'm content to let words rest and actions take a turn...." She trailed off, hoping that he would agree. It was not to be, however, for before he could respond, a scent drifted by on the wayward breeze. Temptation's eyes widened, and she turned, amber optics now narrowed in a none-too-friendly manner. A familiar white shape appeared, however, and she relaxed, a smile breaking out across her maw. While she was none too fond of the look that Evon gave Vega, she was glad to see her sister once more. She ignored Vega's words and tone, knowing that her sister would probably do the same. She looked at him, hoping that he would wait. She needed to see why Evantascence was here. Her sister never worked without a motive.
"Evon! What are you doing here?" Her tone was affectionate, as always, innocent and light as a pup's. Yet her eyes were calculating, and she waited expectantly for a reply.
She knew the look that Evon had given Vega, and had read it accurately. Softly her tail touched his side, a brief caress of reassurance. Obviously their tastes in males differed. Temptation liked the graceful, suave type, those with more to offer than size and brawn. She guessed that her sister was a bit different in her mindset. No matter... Vega was hers anyway. She would hate to have to discourage Evon from making advances... it might just throw a wrench in their little reunion.

| She glanced cordially at the male, who had risen. No surprise there. "It's not really a party if it's just you two. Now, if there was someone else with you. . ." Evon smirked suggestively, cerulean eyes gleaming with mischief. Then they hardened as she said, "So keep your fur on, brute."
Gaze flickered back to her sister. Funny, that even in the heat of the moment, Temptation would pause everything when she came around. How enjoyable. Aware of the male's defensive stance, Evanescence remained where she was, tassel resting calmly against her hackles. "It's nice to see you too, Temptation," her voice was pleasant. "I was simply wondering if I would be able to have a word with you when you done with. . ." She paused, looking for the right word to assess the situation. ". . . whatever it is, you are doing. I have news from Lacrimosa to inform you of. I am also questioning the whereabouts of our sister, Epica. I'm certain that you know more of what is going on in these lands than I."
The hessian that was there, she assumed, would not be pleased by this proposal. Well. He would simply have to deal with it, or listen to what she had to say as well. It wasn't like she was threatening him or anything. Evon sat down, as if she were watching a play of some sort. "So go ahead, finish up."

| "Well, they say three is a crowd," Vega muttered, uncaring whether Evon heard him or not. His love's voice was joyous for the occasion, however, so he put on a happy face for her while the femmes had their conversation. He had handled women worse than this. And all of a sudden he felt a bit bad for snapping at her so suddenly, since she was for the most part putting up with his attitude. He took a step back, letting the apparent festivities continue. Faes... always ready to talk. A more genuine smile began to work its way to his lips, happy that Temptation was happy. But still... her eyes were not as sure as her voice. So this Evon wanted to talk more, did she? Well... That was a bit of a problem. And she had the nerve to sit. "Go ahead, finish up." A laugh escaped his ebony maw, ivories barely flashing with the sound. A playful nod and movement of his brows as his eyes focused on an unspecific point on the ground. "I don't think that will be entirely necessary." The fire within him was smothered, not even a tail of smoke left from what was there. He had felt Temptation's plume against his and pressed his obsidian nose into hercheek. "Go on ahead. I'll wait for you wherever you want me to be." He made a note of Evanesence still sitting there and parted once again from the smaller femme's side. "Before you go, I'd like to apologize for my initial rashness. Vega James Constantine." One more nod of a much belated greeting, and he fell silent, deciding it would be much easier to let her speak and be on her way than get in her way. | |

| Her happiness at seeing her sister was fast disappating. She was unused to Evon, she supposed, and her ways, after living so long without her. Even she could only take so much, and Evon seemed to be truly trying to push both she and Vega's buttons. She sighed inwardly as the two exchanged poisoned words, tensing slightly. What the hell did Evanescence want? She had to have a reason for hanging around here.
Finally she got around to addressing Temptation. She shook her head, hardly in the mood now. She noted that Vega seemed of a similar mindset. If Evon was hoping for a show, she would be disappointed. Vega spoke to her and she smiled, not wanting to part but knowing that Evon would rather speak to her alone. "I will find you, don't worry. Just don't wander too far. As I said before, short legs." She grinned, rising to her feet and taking a step towards her sister. His parting words were not lost on her, and she felt a rush of affection. It was nice to listen to a gentleman, for a change.
The ebony witch still stood taller, so she was forced to look up. She was used to this, however, as most were inclined to higher altitudes than she. "Finished. Epica. Now there's a face I haven't seen in a while. I actually thought that the two of you were together. I haven't seen her since we parted ways." She did not elaborate. There was no need. "News of Lacrimosa I have little interest in." She shook her head. "We both know that I am most likely not welcome back there. At least, not if you gave an accurate description of the events." She had balked, hesitated in a kill, and that would not fly amongst the Lacrimosas. At least, she had thought so. Still, a spark of hope lit within her. Was there still a chance she could return? Evon only served as a reminder as to how much she missed life there... at least then her life had had a purpose. The last few months had been hard, and Vega was truly her only reason for sticking around here now. If he came with....
Pulling her head from the clouds, she once again crashed back to reality. It was likely that a pardon was not the news that Evon brought. "I am willing to listen, though, because I know that you wouldn't come without reason." She looked at Evon, and the normal lightness returned to her gaze, replacing the out-of-place seriousness. "Besides, it truly is good to see you again! I hadn't thought to. I figured that you would stay in Lacrimosa!" Temptation had always been the most forward of the three when it came to familial affection, and now was no different than before.

| Temptation always had a way of dancing around her words. It was like she was afraid if she stepped on them, immediate danger would follow. Unlike her sister, Evon quickly cut to the chase.
"Everyone in Lacrimosa is dead."
She simply said it. No sugar-coating, no candy-sprinkles, no daisy-hopping. And frankly, it was the truth. "The Council of Five held a coup against father and I. Once they murdered him in his sleep, the rest of the pack that was still loyal to him fought back, including myself. I killed two of the Council members. It was a blood bath. A civil war, I tell you. I took down as many as I could. . ." Her voice did not falter; it remained hard and final, but at this notion, it did lower. Perhaps it was out of respect for the fact that their father had been murdered, or something else, Evon wouldn't let Temptation know, for her eyes snatched her sister's. "Know that I would never turn my back on a fight. But, there is such a thing as the blood becoming too thick."
While she let the reaction sink in, her gaze landed on Vega. At least he wasn't entirely brutish - he at least had some chivalry upon her arrival. She tipped her dial, accepting his apology, but didn't dwell long on his being. Instead, she turned back to Temptation.
"Considering your current state," she said airly, referring to what she and Vega had been doing before her arrival. "I shall be going, now. I'll be around. . . if you know what I mean." She smirked and turned tail, leaving the way she had come. This was all she had to say to Temptation, and though her sister may have wanted her there for support, her support would not be needed. The Lacrimosa pack was gone. That was the truth.
(I just read Starr's message that she won't be able to RP very much. . . so I thought I should post and take Evon out of here so I could use her elsewhere.)
