| [center]Curse moved back into the main area caring a little rabbit in her mouth. She moved into the den passed Cira and Glory. "Thank you Glory join the others now. She put the rabbit down in front of the whelp. "Here little one try this." The smell of the kill sent shivers threw her. She waiting wondering what the whelp would do.
Glory looked at Cira giving her a soft grin he moved to the kill eyes fixed on Omisis. He moved to eat watching the males carefully. JR gave a loud growl as Vlad got to close. The smell of blood and the noise of the others feasting it was like a something out of a horror movie. Each wolf shredding the carcass covering themselves in the blood of there kill. The sounds of flesh tearing and horrid growls filled the whole area. | |

| Akira snarled as Evander sprinted off, unable to sink her teeth into the pup napping bastard. Where the hell was her child...and matter fact where the hell were the rest of her children. She made a low noise his her chest calling for them. They were bigger now and had a tendency to wander off. A bit of an annoying tendency. How could she protect them if they were constantly tempting her enemies. She snarled to herself and glanced around. Her betas seemed to be aloof as well. Sawyer was off on his scouting mission though with Evander's presence here she gathered his search would be fruitless. Eyeing the dog skirting the area she barked at him, a summon to come. He had been about the lands. She knew this because he had not been around her, she would've noticed. That annoying hessian who lived because of her own spawn was behind her but she did him the favor of ignoring him in favor to speak with Stark.
Tassle lashed and her amber hues scanned the area. What were all those midnights up to? She was not overly concerned with them though that renegade Deadly seemed to be posing a bit of a problem in the lands. Perhaps she would dispatch some of his own kinsmen to destroy him. She did not need unsanctioned meddling in the lands. The only destruction in these lands were the ones that stemmed from her paws. Odin had separated off from his siblings and therefore missed the excitement with Khalon and the pup that was brought into the lands. He was mildly concerned about Mercy but strangely these days he felt very detached from everything. The only important things these days seemed to be the mists and the feather touches of things better left alone. They did not scare him anymore but neither did he love them. Perhaps one day he would learn to embrace them but he knew with a sort of cold calculated thought that he would always be set apart from everyone else. He didn't really care either. | |

| Stark oddly wasn't too surprised when he heard a familiar bark, demanding him over. Well, perhaps not quite so demanding, but it would be folly to ignore her, or make her angry in any way. Thus, he held back any sarcastic remarks that came to mind, and trotted over. He watched her as he approached, her sweep seemed to be that of contemplation. She would have little reason to call him over if it wasn't about what had happened with the pup-search intruder, if there was something suspicious, or if she was just that bored. He knew she would have noticed the stranger near the lands, and said in more precise speech, "The sea wolf was looking for his kidnapped daughter; seemed to think the pack took her." He was careful in choosing his words in his summary which might be related to what Akira wanted from him. He wasn't aware of the kidnapped pup, and didn't know if the alphess herself knew anything about this if the pup really was in these lands. He remained standing, waiting for what she might say to, or ask of him.
He noticed Pin was in the same area he had left her, judging by where her scent was. What Akira's reaction be if, or when, she learned that one of her children took his sister with him to lead the sea wolf towards the lone lands? Probably wouldn't be too happy he thought, posture still calm. Stark knew he'd never be able to predict the queen, and relaxed muscles had a far quicker reaction than if he was stupid enough to tense up.

| The little one had found herself at a loss for words before Glory. He asked her name. She shook her head. Did none of them know she didn't have one? She still found herself shrinking back, intimidated by the stranger's fiery green gaze and imposing figure. But he was suddenly dismissed by the one voice she had begun to become comfortable with. The large hellion left and she breathed a sigh of relief as her surrogate mother entered with food. Her stomach made a comical little growl, turning over and begging to be fed. The smell was unfamiliar. The metallic smell of blood stung her nares, catching there and crawling to the back of her throat. The scent of rabbit was vaguely familiar, and the more she thought about it the more she realized, this smelled... good. The woman set it down before her and she sniffed it, paw raised in apprehension. She tilted her head this way and that, looking at the dead thing. She knew she shouldn't have been, but for a few brief moments she felt bad. The thing was almost as big as she was, and she was going to eat it. It was alive once. And cute. She realized how silly these thoughts were, and almost laughed at herself. The snarls and violence coming from outside over another kill seemed to motivate her. She had to be like them... she had to eat the kill. And deep inside, her wild instinct told her it was right. She opened her mouth, looking up at Curse almost as if seeking approval. Her little fangs sank into the thing's belly, and she felt the blood run messily onto her jaws. It tasted weird. But not bad. When she pulled back to take a bite however, she spat it out, cringing. Her tongue flapped and flickered in and out of her mouth as she tried to get rid of the hair. "Pleh! How do I eat it with all this fur in the way?" She scrunched her face up and began to paw at her food. This was the most she had talked at all since she arrived. She was slowly becoming more comfortable around them. "I mean, it tastes good but I can't eat it. It's everywhere..." She looked up again, this time asking for help rather than acceptance. | |

| Looking at the dog she frowned, always dissatisfied with the species. Claws not sharp enough, teeth too small. They made good front line soldiers and that was pretty much it. "You have been about the lands. Report, for I feel the stirrings of madness here." Keen amber eyes locked on the youth, for most everyone were youths to this aged queen. If her coat was not ivory by this season you would be able to see the leech of age upon her. She again wondered to the current location of her betas. She had not seen Ludo in a long while and Crimson she had last seen when the Midnights killed of Dracul. Pity, the brute had some good assets, like loyalty. Tough thing to find nowadays. | |

| Curse smiled pulling the fur back to revile the tender meat of the kill "Here try that" She snorted a bit looking around for Pitchra. She missed her mate and it was weird that he wasn't right there by her like he usually was. She had the perfect den spot. It was hidden from the pack yet close enough to hear the drama coming undone when it was to do so. Thoughts raced threw her head. Her loyalty was to Akira but it was power she craved and she knew the witch could get her that power. The plan in her mind was set. "I remember when you were this small... Such a time ago..." She licked her chops as her white blue crystals fell onto her daughter " Cira this is Daija(Day-ja) she is the newest member to our clan. Tho I do not know my brothers need for her she is to be treated as one of our own. Now I take it you and Glory are to be producing offspring soon since your heat is coming up. Your to be Daija's prime care giver when I am not around. You can be the baby sitter for any whelps the clan produces since your nature is not as cruel as mine." Curse looked at the whelp "Daija once you are done feeding go with Cira she will take good care of you." and with that Curse was moving out of the den to where the kill was watching her clan eat. She watched wondering what she was to do next. she had strong males. Omisis, Glory, Vlad and JR where great warriors not to mention her mate Pitchra who made them look like tinker toys, Icarus needs work but he is Midnight and that is good enough. She smirked slightly. Her fea's where just as good of warriors as the brutes. Armedia who had the smarts for just about anything. She is a manipulative fea one who can get her way if given the lead way. Aditi was still learning but she has fire and that is a prime trait of a Midnight warrior. Cira... Curse growled a bit out loud she shook her head returning to her thoughts Cira is another story but she is Midnight and of royal blood. Curse watched them going over every ones form. She knew her warriors needed something to do some kind of challenge.
JR was finished eating. He didn't want to get to heavy. He had learned as a pup that full wolf is a slow wolf and that was no good. He moved away slowly walking to the stream. He looked around then sniffed the ground. "Interesting smells" He said to himself as he moved closer to the stream. He reached it leaning down lapping up the cool water. He drank freely watching as he did. Always on guard, Always watching. He drank enough to quench his thirst then sat there grooming his fur. Thoughts raced threw him. He felt lonely and he has yet to be appointed a mate. His sister got one but he didn't. He sighed. He didn't want just any fea. He wanted a midnight fea one of power. Perhaps this was to much. He stood moving his form slowly back to the main area taking a seat next to Vlad who seemed to be looking for his sister.
Vlad barely noticed JR as he came and set next to him. He was scanning around for Aditi. The brute noticed she had been disappearing a lot. He spotted her moving to her at a quick pace "So my dear care for a walk" The brute tried to seem less cold but he doubted it worked.
Omisis growled at Glory as the male got to close to him. He flashed the male his fangs only to get them flashed back in return. The golden brute snarled a little before he noticed Curse watching. He then growled at Glory and moved away. He watched Armedia who seemed to be finished eating and was now licking her pelt clean. He wished the fea was his. His heart ache for her but she was Herrick's mate. Even if the brute left her alone she was still his. "Maybe Curse can over rule the order of the old King"He said to himself altho he knew deep inside it couldn't be done. False hope killed him.
Armedia sighed as she noticed the Golden male watching her. She didn't hate him but he was to out of the ordinary for her. She liked who she had been appointed even if they talked for only a few minutes. She was coming into her heat and she knew of he did not show up she would have to choose someone new since the matting was not complete. She wondered what it would be like to be a mother. She was only two and had managed threw her first two heats now she had a mate and was able to have at least one litter of whelps.

| Stark guessed she wouldn't have stopped him if she hadn't been that anxious for news. Now he knew she felt something stir as well. It was better to give a detailed report, but probably not bore her of exact details- enough so she got the full picture that he could paint in a short report.
His voice didn't carry loudly, but loud enough for the queen to hear his words, "I'm glad I wasn't imagining things, then, since you, too feel something amiss... Well, a wolf that smells of the ocean- A Black Pearl wolf, I assume- arrived, agitated. Your son followed me. Two of the Midnight breed appeared after I spoke to the stranger. One seemed to know the wolf, as he spoke about killing the stranger's mate. Stranger became more suspicious and replied that he knew we took his whelp. The other Midnight, Harmi, I think was his title, threatened the wolf off at that point. I was aware of the Jabbar wolf moving away from your position, the first Midnight left the scene, and your son spoke to the ocean wolf- said he had to get out of the lands and to follow him. One of his sisters showed up at that point, and they suddenly ran off, the stranger following, confused, but not in a threatening manner towards tem. I just knew they went in the direction of the lone lands. When I left, I didn't see what Harmi was doing." He didn't know why the pair would leave the lands, but perhaps even children growing up in the darkest of packs had some innocence and thought they'd be safe.
He was unmoving this whole time, and still was as he questioned, "Does our queen wish to know anything else from this event?" Stark wondered if he was being relatively respectful, although his guess was that in Akira's eyes, anything his did would be looked at with sone degree of distaste. | |

| Cira remained quietly in the background of things as Glory left and Curse returned, bringing food for the young one. She grinned with amusement, laughing to herself as the pup took a bite, only to spit out the fur in disgust. Her expression was priceless; displeased but innocently confused. She watched as her mother helped the pup uncover bare flesh, then perked up as Curse turned and spoke to her. Their white-blue crystals met, mirroring each other as Curse spoke of her being this small. Cira had few memories of being so little, thus she said nothing, merely smiling as her mother reminisced momentarily. Then matters turned to business, though for Cira it was a matter of duty, her nature called her to do such things. Caring for whelps, helping others. She was so unlike the other Midnights, despite her royal blood; it was unknown where her soft heart came from. With a firm nod, Cira acknowledged Curse's request for her to babysit any and all pups. Looking to Daija when Curse left, she smiled gently at the youth. "Fill your belly, Daija," she said, her tone warm and motherly. She wouldn't doubt that the whelp would be tired after what she'd been through, but Cira thought perhaps she might have the energy to have a walk around. "Would you like to see the territory after?" she asked, "We don't have to go right now, though, if you're tired." She would leave it to Daija, for she knew not how the little one felt.
Aditi looked up from her musings to see her appointed mate striding towards her. She supposed he was handsome enough, and it was clear he knew his stuff on the battlefield, yet she still felt repelled by him. Trying to hide how she felt, she allowed him to come near, sitting up straight as he voiced his question to her. Something about him seemed mysterious, almost devious, and it intrigued her, yet at the same time it was the very thing that bothered her about him. Perhaps she would have to give him a chance. After all, by clan rules, she really didn't have a choice. Might as well make the best of it. Sighing, she rose to all fours, looking him in the eye with her own cold blue hues. "Sure," she said coolly, no emotion within her voice, "I hope you'll make it worth my time." She tried to appear cold, playing hard to get with him, hoping it would make things more interesting.

| Vlad pinned his ears back and snorted at Aditi. "Your the one from here. You make the walk interesting." His tone was playful. As he picked up the pace to match hers he glanced around trying to find something interesting to do. As he continued walking he spotted the water a little ways off. He moved to it. His massive gray form moving lightly as if he where walking on his toes. He tried to hide his excitement but he loved the water. Vlad jumped in. When he came up to the surface he moved to the shallow part. He shook his fur splashing water at Aditi as a invitation. Perhaps she could loosen up some around him. She was much of brat and he noticed that, but it didn't discourage him at all. Just made it more fun. | |

| The little femme found herself genuinely smiling back up at Curse as she revealed the meat. "Thanks," she chirped, and took her first real bite. Why hadn't she ever had this before? It was so good, and filling. She took quite a bit of it, unable to recall the last time she had eaten. And it was all for her too. She pulled and chewed until she couldn't eat anymore, belly bloated with fresh food. Her tongue dabbed at her maw, tasting the leftover blood. The red stain gave her a false look of ferocity, but it made her feel kind of tough, in that childish sort of way. As she looked up from her meal, a strange sound was brought to her auds. Daija. She had never heard it before, and suddely realized that this was her name. "Daija..." She tried it on her lips, and smiled. "I like it!" It was pretty sounding. These wolves weren't so bad after all. They were a little rough around the edges, but they gave her food, shelter, and a name to call herself by. Mom and Dad... the ones she had to forget... they didn't even give her that.
Daija was introduced suddenly to a wolfess called Cira. She seemed much softer and nicer than Curse and Glory, as well as the surrounding pack. She appreciated the sudden change in demeanor. Her voice was warm and comforting, welcoming her. She rose to her paws, taking note for the first time how miniscule they were in comparison to this femme. She would get there. At least she hoped so. "Hi," another smile. "I'm not too tired. Not yet. I'd like to see it here." She drew a little closer, instinctively trusting of her new caretaker. "Umm," She looked about, "What's this place called?" She couldn't recall if Curse had already told her the name of her home, but she couldn't recall now.

| Cira watched Daija patiently as she continued to eat, taking her fill until she was bloated. Her tail thumped the ground as finally the young one approached her, offering a smile. She was glad to hear that Daija still had the energy to explore around her new home, though she had to admit she was surprised, but that was youth for you; the energy just never ended. "Okay Daija, I will show you the territory," she said with enthusiasm. She turned around in the den, getting ready to leave when she heard the pup's voice, and she looked back, blue-white eyes shining. "This place is called Muerta Mountains..." she informed Daija, then added in a more serious tone, "And it is home to many dangerous wolves. Make sure you are always with someone you know can protect you."
Turning toward the outside world, Cira flicked her tail, beckoning Daija to follow her out. She glanced around, wondering whereabouts she would show the pup first. She knew of a few landmarks; some were beautiful, others, like the cliffs, were just plain dangerous. But it was all a part of these lands, and it was important for Daija to know it all by heart. Not only were the lands important though, but so were those who dwelled within them. She would need to introduce Daija to the rest of her family, as well as Akira and the pack, so they would not attempt to eat her. Glancing back at the pup, she smiled, then moved forward, her first destination the waterfall; it was likely something Daija had not seen in her short life, so it would be something interesting for her.
Keeping a slow, pup-friendly pace, Cira trotted along quietly, allowing time for the pup to take in all the new scents and sights surrounding her. Every now and then she glanced over her shoulder to make sure she did not lose track of Daija, and to make sure she wasn't going too fast. They would be there soon, and she wondered what the little one thought of this place..
Aditi snorted as Vlad gave his response, a playful hint lying beneath it. Yet, she felt annoyed by it. "Hmph, ask me to go for a walk and I have to lead?" she said cheekily. She perked a brow as she watched Vlad wandered away as though looking for something specifically. Her neck stretched forward as she watched him, and she tip-toed after him. She saw him wade into the water, his body growing tense with excitement. She tilted her head, and was surprised when he jumped right in, water splashing up. She backed up a bit, only to have Vlad come to the shallow waters and give a mighty shake, spraying her with water. She flashed him an angry look through neon red eyes and charged towards him with a sneer on her face. Just before she collided with him she veered off to the side and ran past him to nip his tail before splashing ankle deep into the water. She whirled around and swung her paw at the water's surface, hoping to splash him from behind. | |

| Daija tilted her head at the name 'Muerta Mountains'. Such a strange sound. She had no clue what Muerta meant, but the mountains part sure was right. She was proud of herself for not flinching when Cira told her there were so many dangerous wolves to beware of. Though she felt a little tougher for it, she certainly wasn't about to go and run off. She was so small. "Okay," she responded obediently. She liked Cira. The fae genuinely seemed to care for her. It reminded her of... she pushed the thought back. She wasn't supposed to think about them. It could only get easier, she supposed. It took her a moment to realize that her face was a picture of strained sadness before she came back to focus. She looked up and saw Cira getting ahead, and ran to catch up quickly. She stayed just slightly behind her long pillars, taking in everything around her. This outside world was magnificent, glorious. The trees were so... huge. And there were so many things to smell. Something caught in her nares, pleasantly familiar. She wandered for a moment of the path they walked to sniff in some foliage. As her tiny nose pushed into the underbrush, a rabbit darted out and away. It startled her so much she reared back with a squeak and fell on her rump. Looking back at her guardian, she seemed ashamed, but soon began to laugh at how silly she must have looked. Standing back up, Daija returned to Cira's side, this time sticking to just looking and inhaling all at once. She did see a pretty flower or two and stopped to take them in. One of them sent the pollen up her nares and made her sneeze. Looking up at the femme she smiled, unaware of the yellow dust covering her nose. She realized there was one thing she didn't yet know. "Where are we going?" | |

| Akira watched Stark and her body was held still with disbelief. A slow creeping anger emanated from her body and she felt her body start to shake. Amber eyes beheld the dog in front of her blazing with inner rage, her jowls were locked tight together and her talons sunk into the earth. "MY CHILDREN WENT WHERE!?" It was a rhetorical statement because as soon as it left her muzzle she turned from Stark and striding forward she snarled enraged and threw her head to the skies. She let her fury rip loose across her terra. She demanded ALL WOLVES to her presence NOW. Why the hell was Harmi back on her lands? Why had a Pearl wolf come here and why was he accusing Muerta of stealing whelp? Things like this did not occur unless SHE authorized it. And were the hell was Crimson and Ludo? Damn these Midnights coming here and running their own internal pack structure. For good measure she tossed up another howl demanding Curse be present. She was the one keeping order amongst her breed and better be able to answer her questions. She saw her wary son Odin creep from the bushes and she snarled and stalkaing over to him pushed him down and snapped in his face. "Where the hell are your brother and sister?!" She snapped. And strange pup that Odin was he lay there in a submissive position his face blank. "I don't know mother." He replied calmly. Disgusted she pushed away her offspring knowing he wouldn't dare lie to her and awaited her pack, tail lashing. | |

| "My lamb and martyr, speech" The ebony hellion was pulled from a pleasant slumber. His dark mind roiled with damnable thoughts of he and the queen. Dreams of bloodshed and pain, of slaking their lust and her cries... except, those really were her cries. He lifted his head, smiled, jade orbs flashing at the unfolding scene. She was delightfully angry. Standing, stretching, taking his time, he straightened his lithe spine like a cat. Shoulders rolled as he moved forward, seemingly menacing. But wasn't he this way always? Tongue flicking at his teeth, he had the ivory witch in his sights. A smile, and a phantom one at that. His mind ticked. Did he provoke her today, or let her speak and let her off the leash his mind had her on? On his way, he saw Odin, recently freed from his mother's rage. He looked down at the pup and brushed by him gently, some strange form of support offered, though nothing more. He didn't really feel all that bad for him. This was Akira. He was used to it by now.
Matthew presented himself rather plainly before her highness, having no regard for the pomp and curtsy of the other cowed subordinates. "You called, lovely?" he spoke in dulcent tones, ready to heed her every word or bite. It was all he could do to hold back a shiver of pleasure at the thought. The plume of the offending individual merely curled, the only sign of his ever worsening mind. He saw the tension in her eyes, her frame, her cord whipping behind her. "Calm yourself, my queen. Surely your troubles aren't all that bad." The bru was fully aware that for her to be this maddened that they had to be, but his prodding nature just couldn't help itself. He made no effort to play down his madness, though he refrained from eyeing her for the time being. That could come from a distance until they grew closer. His attentions to the dog went unplayed, seeing him as merely another of her pawns. No offense to the cur, but it was the truth. And yet, with Akira's seeming hatred of his lunatic hide, he had to wonder who was the more favored between the two of them. Him or the dog? He was sure he would find out soon enough. Pity her higher up didn't get here first. Perhaps his chances here were better than he had first assumed. He stood there, waiting, panting softly and slowly with that ever present smirk on his black, deviant lips. "My lamb and martyr, speech" | |

| [center] Curse pinned her ears back. She heard the howl of Akira and snapped. She had forgotten something. She looked around quickly spotting Glory. "Glory find Cira and the whelp lead them to the lone lands till I call for you to come back." She snapped at the gray wolf. "Hurry" With that she turned to the others. None knew of her plans they were all busy hunting when the plan was put into action. She moved tords the howl signaling the wolves to follow.
Glory looked a bit shocked. He snorted then listened to Curse. He moved quick finding Cira well away from the pack and the sounds of others. "My love please we must hurry... Something is wrong we must move with the whelp it is the wish of Curse" Glory gently picked up Daija making sure he wasn't hurting her. He moved to the lone lands leaving Muerta behind him. He would stay close to the land but just outside it's reach. | |

| He had been expecting a reaction similar to this, and he was only slightly surprised at the way she attacked her own child... although he guessed it shouldn't be surprising at all. He didn't bother responding to her question, as it clearly was thrown out in rage, but probably no where equal the rage the alphess could contain or release. He glanced to the side, noticing a wolf he hadn't seen, but clearly was part of the pack, else might have already been killed. Stark flicked an ear in slight annoyance of the wolf's gaze who was probably judging him- they all did, so why assume otherwise? His attention turned to his cousin who decided to make her appearance. He wondered what would happen next. Would he be accused of lying? It was highly possible that he'd have to prove he was telling truth, due to his low credibility, but that Black Pearl wolf had been standing long enough to have a decent scent on the border... unless it was thoroughly washed out. This was the life he liked having. A gamble with every step.
Penilla almost started when she heard the angry howl. She wasn't sure why she sounded so angry, and wondered if her cousin was connected to this in some way. Without hesitating further, she got up and found the source of the call, and noticed many of the pack had yet to gather. She wondered how Stark was her cousin, who obviously needed a life of danger and controversial forms of entertainment. This was one of those times where she wondered how she let her cousin bring her all the way here. At the moment, Stark seemed to be waiting, not in one of his planning moods. Unsure if this was a good thing or not, she stood near him, waiting. She had gotten better at staying calm since they came to the lands, knowing that one of her better skills was avoiding injury, which required having an extent of calm- something she didn't have when Stark was pitted against her.

Winter had not slowed since she'd left Hamara Sydan, and even from the desolate lone lands, she had heard Akira's deadly call, and knew instantly that something was amiss. She put thoughts of recent events to the back of her mind and picked up the pace, forcing her sister to keep up or be left behind. Either way, it mattered little to her; the brat would need to learn to hold her own if she wanted to get noticed in this life, not just by taking cheap shots when the chance arose. Right now she was thoroughly annoyed by the younger one's insolent nature, and knew that wasn't going to get her far when she was surrounded by the wolves of Muerta. She would soon be put in her place if she stepped out of line.
The jet black fae came racing into the mainlands and came upon Akira's gathering, seeing that a few wolves and a couple of dogs had already answered the Queen's howl. She cursed herself for being late, but she knew she couldn't be everywhere at once. Not glancing back to see if Vengeance was close behind, she approached the white witch that ruled this hellish, storm-veiled mountain. She glanced with little interest to the wolves already there, some familiar, some not. She merely recorded their images in her mind and continued as she was, pinning her ears and lowering her head in the slightest before Akira.
As she raised her head again and made eye contact with Akira, she could see that the fatale was furious, but for reasons Winter could not know. She had not been around too much since her return, but she intended to make her presence well-known from now on. Grinding her teeth, icy blue spheres glimmering, Winter forced herself to speak. "I have unfortunate news to report," she said, her voice so low and soft it was hardly carried far enough for Akira to hear, "Crimson Star has perished in Hamara Sydan, and my father, Ludo... well, I've not seen him since I got back." Silencing herself, she stepped back, her form held firmly, though on the inside she mourned. She truly did not know the fate of any of her family, only that she had seen the last of them.
//------Avenged Star-------\\
Vengeance panted hard as she tried to keep up with Winter. She wasn't going to let the older bitch show off, so she pushed onwards, even though her young, developing muscles screamed at her to stop. When they finally arrived in the lands, she thought her sister would have slowed down, but she was sadly mistaken. If anything, her pace only increased, and Vengeance growled out loud. What was she trying to prove? The jealous youth just didn't realize how truly feeble she was in comparison with her older sibling. She was relieved when they finally came upon the gathering; she wanted to flop down in exhaustion, but she could see that everyone else was on their paws, and didn't want to look like the only weakling in the pack.
She perked her ears as Winter stepped towards Akira, barely able to catch her words. The femme seemed remorseful as she spoke, and Vengeance pinned her ears back. Mother had always prohibited any expression of emotions. She said they made a wolf weak. She had grown up with those thoughts in mind, and had suppressed everything she felt inside, forcing it away. She felt a twinge of regret, knowing that her mother was fighting to the death right this moment, and knowing that her father and siblings had drifted away, but she smothered the feelings before they could take effect, telling herself they were merely of her imagination. The feelings weren't real. Life would go on. Her two-toned, expressionless eyes watched, her teeth firmly clenched.
-------------------
Cira smiled as Daija agreed to be with someone she trusted from now on, and continued on walking, amused as she watched the pup explore. She got a good laugh out of Daija's startled expression when a rabbit darted out in front of her. She ran her tongue over the whelp's ears as she gave an ashamed look; there was nothing wrong with getting spooked. But soon the whelp was laughing at herself, and everything was alright. Cira's blue-white crystals sparkled when Daija asked where they were going. "I'm going to show you a beautiful landmark," she said, "We're going to Muerta's waterfall, it's-"She was cut short as Akira's voice rose into the sky, calling all of the pack forth. Disappointed, she shook her head as she looked to Daija. "Well... Akira has called for the pack, little one," she said softly, "We can't ignore her, she's the boss around here." She turned, about to make her way back where the Queen would be waiting, when her mate appeared suddenly with a hurried tone of voice. Confused, she shook her head at first. "But, Glory.." she had not time to try to reason with him, as he whisked Daija away and headed for the borders. Torn between her duties to the Queen and to the whelp and her mate, she scratched the ground anxiously. Sighing, she took off after Glory. She had to make sure that wherever Daija was going, it was safe. She knew Glory wouldn't hurt the baby, but who knew what other dangers were out there in the world? Akira would do well without her, for now, and she could always catch up later, even if it meant punishment or working overtime. Her tail and body low, Cira slunk away from the lands after Glory, following wherever it was he had to go... The pair of Midnight siblings, Aditi and Icarus, heard the call, and like the rest of the pack, they heeded Akira's howl. They soon joined the gathering, seeing that many had already come forward to their leader's demand for a meeting. Aditi moved herself closer to Curse when she saw the older femme, still holding an admiration for the vicious-natured femora. Icarus found himself in the background of things, merely watching for what would happen, wondering what the bother was. | |

| Pichtra looked up instantly from his spot to lay down in when the howl broke the skies. His fur bristled for his mate and all wolves were being summoned. His eyes found Glory, who was speaking to Curse and he waited till the brute turned before he came up to her and nudged her in a 'I'm never far' nudge. He needed to know what she wanted him to do, for if she didn't speak aloud he'd just follow and kill anyone who came close...he was on edge...he felt so... alive... | |

| Akira's eyes blazed and it seemed that however fast her wolves came it was not fast enough. And here came the self proclaimed Casanova to agitate her evermore. Eying Matthew with extreme dislike at the moment she growled deeply when he stepped a tad to close. Before she exploded Curse came and then she saw the children of her beta appear and a sparse few Midnights. Laying on her eyes on Matt her lip flicked. "You try my patience maggot." She snarled before turning her back to him to lay eyes on the Midnight queen. But before she could address Curse, Endless Winter stepped forward to give speak in hushed tones. Crimson, her betess was dead and the beta vanished. Fabulous. Her teeth clenched together with an absurd amount of pressure. Yet despite her murder inciting rage she gave the young wolfess a curt nod to the news. She had lost more wolves than she cared to count but she would not pretend the loss of her betas were something that was replaceable. All the more reason she needed her heirs in the state of her protection. Amber hues shifted their deadly gaze on Curse. "Explain the disturbance that has occurred in my dominion involving a Black Pearl wolf and an apparently stolen whelp. And why have my children left the area since then?" Pausing it was deadly quiet. "And where are the rest of the Midnights?" Her voice was level but seriously menacing. Her fur was raised and it was one of those times that it ALMOST didn't matter what was going to come out of Curse's mouth, someone was getting puncture wounds from her incisors. | |

| Curse watched Akira. He words sent no emotion of any kind to her face. " I have no clue why your offspring has gone. There are not of my concern. However, The Pearl wolf had followed Harmi's scent back to these lands. I sent Glory and Cira to look for Harmi." The truth was in her words. she just missed certain little details which she was smart enough not to repeat. She watched Akira even closer noticing the fea getting even more mad. This would indeed get interesting if she attacked her. A brawl with the Midnight was not one the Queen needed. Her numbers where shot. She needed her and Curse needed Akira. | |

| Sawyer The massive bru entered the homelands and sighed softly. He had failed in finding Mercy, though he had found out where Jabbar's wolves were residing. That should please his queen. The scent of wolf concentrated as he drew near. Orange eyes spotting Akira and he chuffed a greeting to his queen to announce his presence. He saw the ivory witch facing Curse, her beta, and he paused. There was venom in the queen's gaze and he flicked an ear to the side. Surely the queen and her beta were not at odds. His nose twitched scenting the air. Familiar family scents came...though some of them were faint or missing....The heavy stench of the midnight wolves lingered as well. They certainly caused tension wherever they roamed. He stopped as he drew near and waited for Akira to acknowledge him. | |

| Blazing eyes locked on the arrogant fem. There was only room for one alphess here and Midnight Queen be damned Akira would not have this fem running her pack on the sly. Eyes narrowed as the foolish words rolled off her tongue. Teeth clacked together and she took a step forward. Her body was radiating anger and she whipped her head and looked at Winter. "Tell me Winter should your fellow packmate fall under foreign attack would it be none of your concern? If a wolf were to enter my territory and threaten my wolves would it be none of my concern?!" Her voice was rising, tail lashing and chest heaving. Head turned back to look at Curse once more and again stepped closer to the fem. Sawyer's presence was a minuscule note in her mind, he did not have her child therefore rendered unimportant. "Could you tell me one last thing Winter... " Now she stepped around the fem fur grazing the others body..."who's concern THIS IS!"
That's when she snapped.
With a snarl she launched herself at the unsuspecting Pichtra. Teeth locking into flesh of his rear. Monstrous noises were coming out of her and she was like a demon. Perhaps she could not afford to attack Curse but Akira would show this bitch WHO WAS BOSS. This was her lands and these Midnights would not be here with out her. Born and raised in this dirt this was the Midnights pack but it was HER pack. And loyalty to her should rank above all else.

| This was the queen he'd heard about when she wasn't relatively calm. Of course, Stark knew such stories were exaggerated, and they were, especially since this looked to be one of her extremes of violence. He made no sound nor any movement at any of Akira's words or movements. She was angry enough that he almost believed that she was mad at that Winter wolf, instead of trying to send Curse a verbal message. He took a quick glance towards all the wolves while the queen was unleashing her verbal anger, trusting his senses to alert him if any harm were to come to him or his cousin, who had settled down next to Stark, as it seemed even she was able to sense something was going to happen when Curse opened her mouth. Better late than never, he guessed. At least Pin was starting to toughen up more. Perhaps maybe even enough to eventually prove herself into some sort of lower position.
Speaking of whom, his attention while gazing at the gather wolves mostly rested on the ruler of this Midnight clan, curious towards her response. In first appearance, it seemed like she didn't have much skill with talking her way out of things. She, though, still appeared calm, despite such a response. From his peripheral vision, Akira lunged for another wolf near the Midnight leader, and was now in his line of sight. He tensed just slightly, wary in case other Midnights appeared to attack the rest of the pack for this. Calling Akira incensed would even be considered an understatement. Stark was starting to calculate- primarily the conditions on which he would start to engage in combat if this scene would lead to it. He was doing what he did best- strategizing.
On the other hand, Penilla was a bit scared, but somehow learned to hide this, although she did flinch slightly when Akira decided to attack a Midnight. At this point, she was nearly touching Stark's shoulder, having realized his body language was telling her in a subtle way he was still watching out for her. This time, she wasn't scared to the point she froze, though, getting somewhat used to this pack and their colder, crueler ways she wasn't used to. This time around, her mind was alert for an attack, having taken Stark's lead, but also didn't make any movement.
Unlike Stark, though, she was solely watching the queen, not the others, although she was aware what his brain was probably doing. He may like calling it strategizing, although it wasn't really the word that should be used. It was both stronger and weaker than the actual meaning of strategizing, although she'd never guess him to work intently at it. She was worried about his methods of calculation, though, as wolves and their behavior and thinking were sometimes different than dogs. He'd somehow survived this long, but if a war were to occur here, is this particular group of wolves more than his brain could chew? Pin knew she wouldn't be much better off. She wished she was able to read Stark, though, so she knew what he was thinking at times like these... although she wondered if some of the other wolves here wondered why a dog would come her, brining his more timid cousin along for the ride. Both were the same mix of two of the toughest dog breeds, but no wolf would care. A dog is a dog, some just happened to be stronger than others.

| Combative. The Midnight wolves were such a breed that no one dare tempt. Without instruction, without any sense of question the words were dripping from Akira's mouth, slapping Curse on the face and mocking her all together while the queen spoke to someone else. His mind was in a slight whirl with Curse's words. He had followed the scent of Harmi...after she had banned him and Sins... Pichtra was thinking things through when a nasty looking creature came running into the scene. "Hello all. Pleasure to see my sisters neck on the line by the true queen" Pichtra growled but it was cut short with a shot of adrenalin. Seeing Deadly Sins had made the mate of the Midnight Breed's Queen see red, and he would have attacked when he himself were attacked. He felt the fangs of the Muerta queen sink into his hind quarters. It was a bad cause to strike at a Queen but logic and insanity were at a fine line and one had broken. The brute let out a bellow and turned, trying to strike at Akira. Only...his anger...now a rage, who was he wishing to actually punish... | |

| Heavy beats from multiple pads dashed across the autumn terra, chasing down a herd of Elk. The Trio managed to separate a large cow from the herd, not realizing how far on the outskirts of the pack lands they were, not aware yet of the danger closing in on them from the air. Elipsis had closed in on their target first, grabbing at the cow Elk's underbelly, slowing it down so his father Ludo, or cousin, Ireland could make a move to leap for it's throat, and make the final kill. Ludo had done so, using his weight, and the momentum from his jump onto the cow, to knock her over. Ireland, was the last to come up, running over to help with the kill. There was a loud noise approaching fast from the air, sounding like a never ending thunder. It was nothing like Elipsis had ever heard before in his life, but Ireland and Ludo , with their years of experience, knew exactly what it was... Humans, and their air machines. "Let go of the Elk!" Ireland yelled as loudly as he could over the deafening sound of the approaching air machine.Ludo let his grasp go on the elk's throat, as well did Elipsis of the underbelly. The bloody elk struggled to get up, confused, and frightened with the loud noise. Elipsis was as well, but he kept up with his father, as the three of them started to run, which became a battle in itself to see where they needed to go with dirt, and debris from the air machine's wings, unsettling everything. It was almost like a tornado was upon them. The helicopter hovered over them, creating so much dust and debris, it was a perfect target for the man hanging out the side of the helicopter, to dart at least one of these wolves that were a sitting target. A Shot went off, and a yelp echoed into the air...
Once the helicopter landed, and the dust cleared, Elipsis, took to the closest hiding place. He had found a timber pile to hide in,and he watched what was going on. He was two legged animals come from the helicopter. Humans! He growled as he watched a couple of them step out of the helicopter that had landed, and was walking towards.. Ireland! He was out cold. Did they kill him?! He started creeping out of his hiding spot, and was gonna go to attack them.. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. Not on your own." Ludo said in a growl, as he stepped in front of his son, looking him in the eye. He was serious about it. Elipsis wouldn't be able take then down on their own, he would end up just like Ireland. "Now, don't get completely worked up, they didn't kill him alright." he said to them. Elipsis looked at him puzzled. "Well explain to me what they did do." he said in an impatient gruff tone. Ludo raised a brow, seeing his son was impatient, he could understand. "They shot him with a dart, that knocks him out, and puts him in a sleepy state." he explained. "And more than likely, they are going to put a collar on him, like a domestic dog. But, it's one that they can track you with." he said to him. He raised his brows up, feeling a little more enlightened, but still felt confused about the whole thing, wondering why the humans were doing what they were doing. Did they do it for amusement? He turned his head watching the humans, and then looked back to his father. "Well then what are we gonna do then? Are you just gonna stand by and let them, put that thing on Ireland?!" he demanded to know. Ludo shook his head. "No. No we're not." he said to his son. "We'll have a better chance at them, with it being the two of us." he said to him, nodding once with an evil grin. A smirk formed on Elipsis' maw, and nodded back to his father..
The two of them, made their way toward the humans, gradually picking up speed for their attack. Shots were fired at them, but none hit them. Ludo didn't flinch, and Elipsis, didn't waiver either, keeping up with his father. The two of them striked, attacking the humans outside of the helicopter. They left the humans live, but were left with fresh wounds, reminding them to never come back..
Watching the the helicopter leave, he snorted, and turned back to his son, who was already by Ireland. "We need to get him back to the pack." he said. Elipsis nodded to his father, he decided he would take on that responsibility, and carry the old man upon his back. "Alright. Load him up onto my back." he said to his father. He raised a brow, surprised that Elipsis was going to take on carrying him back. He nodded to him, not going to object. Elipsis, was younger, and could endure the weight on his back. He helped load him up onto Elipsis' back, and the two of them started on their way back to the main pack area. He got out a few strides ahead of his Son, and let out a howl to his pack mates.
Mean while little Cheveyo, had seen all what had happened, and had high tailed it out of there by the time the helicopter had showed up. She had sneaked out away from her sister Avenged, and followed the three out to watch them hunt, hoping she could possibly surprise them and join in. But after she saw what they were hunting, she decided to skip out, and she had found a place a good distance away from them, and was fascinated with their technique of hunting, and bringing down big game, taking mental notes, of how they used their bodies against their prey. Maybe some other ways to use for sparring with her sister too. She had noticed the wind pick up strangely, and she got spooked seeing the helicopter in the air.. For her age, it was the smart thing to do, and she would get enough hell as it was for following them out there. She made her way back to the main pack area the muscles in her legs screaming at her, from sunning so hard. She saw a lot going on, and she slid to a stop. She looked around, she saw her sister Avenged, as well as Winter, her big sister. She glanced to the Alphess, and her ears fell back, as the tones from her intimidated her a bit, but she moved to her sister, nudging her. "Avenged!" she whispered loudly. "Dad's in trouble. So is Elipsis and Ireland." she added. She then, flicked her ears forward, hearing her father's distant howl.

Winter could see the displeasure in Akira's face as she took in the news of her betas, though the Queen merely gave her a curt nod in acknowledgement. She had too many other things to worry about right now. Winter looked to Curse as she gave an answer to what Akira had asked, and she wrinkled her nose. The fae did not seem very bright, yet she seemed to have a controlling nature. Looking back to Akira, she could see the elevated level of fury on the femme's face when she heard Curse's ignorant reply. Then the white witch whipped her head towards Winter, and for a moment she flinched, wondering if that fury was going to be directed at her. But she quickly realized that Akira was only speaking to her in spite of Curse. She knew that the questions asked were not ones needing an answer, even as the Queen stepped closer to her. Winter snorted, looking to Curse with a sneer. What a fool. Then Akira snapped, and there was a flurry of teeth as she lunged for Pitchra and the brute lashed back just as Deadly Sins made his presence known. Winter's hackles raised. She looked to Vengeance just as another familiar face came close; Cheveyo. Where had the young femme been all this time? She perked her ears as the youth gave news of the male half of their family beeing in trouble. Winter growled. Why did all of this have to happen right now? She snapped her fangs at Vengeance. "Go be of some use, you nasty little brat," she snarled, nudging the fae roughly, "Get them here as quickly as possible." With that, she turned away from her two little sisters and moved closer to her Queen, ready to assist should the need arise.-----------------------Avenged watched with an unchanging expression as Akira openly showed her rage, and seemed to direct it straight at her sister. Was she going to attack Winter? But her sister did not seem to budge, unfrightened. Her tail flicked into the air with excitement as Akira lunged for a big male wolf, and she was distracted only when she felt a nudge. She turned to see her sister Cheveyo. Pleasant surprise filled her and she almost smiled before becoming stoic once more. She had to let her sister know how displeased she was by her disappearance for all this time. She stiffened slightly as she heard her father, brother and cousin were in trouble. "Hmph," she snorted, sounding uninterested. Then her father's howl filled the air. She growled, torn between how she felt and how she thought she should react. She wasn't impressed by their disappearance."You've all been gone all this time," she snapped, giving her sister an angry glare, "Ignoring me and leaving me behind, and now suddenly you want help? Hmph!" She turned away pointedly from Cheveyo, lashing her tail. But then suddenly her older sister was snapping teeth at her, causing her to cringe slightly. She glared at Winter as the older femme told her to go, but didn't argue further as Winter gave her a rough push to get going. She growled and looked to Cheveyo. "Fine, let's go," she agreed, flicking her tail. Despite her frustration, she felt it would be nice to run alongside her sister again. Her tail flicked into the air and she let it sway gently, the only show of how pleased she really was to see that her family was returning. | |

| Time ticked away, and as it did the ashen woman continued to simply lay next to the stone and contemplate things. She grew tired of doing nothing, and it seemed as though action was occuring on a constant basis now, ever since the arrival of the new wolves. Auds picked up the sound of wolves, of the little critters dashing around, of a bird's song. All collectively coming together to a droning sound of nothing, thats when the ashen fem stood. Pillars brought her further to where everyone was, and she began to hear her queen on a rage once again, likely because of some other ignorant wolf, it was clear that some wolves needed to learn Akira's limit, that and learn to have respect. A small chuckle came to her, which surprised her, considering the quietness that had been surrounding her. She wasn't going to involve herself with the drama that was her queen and the ignorant wolves that claimed they wanted a home.
She instead turned her attention to that of a distant howl, and then a tiny cry of alarm. Her amber lanterns first landed on Winter, and a brief flash of memory came to her, adus flicked to the voices dashing around. Names flooded into her, and her gaze moved over the whelps dashing away, Deadly began her chase after the whelps. Ignoring Akira's fight, it seemed Winter planned on backing the queen up, and the ashen fem wouldn't doubt the woman's ability to follow through. Deadly caught up with ease, and led the way ever so slightly. Nostrils flared to catch the males scent, and Deadly quickened her pace. She didn't do it out of excitement, however much she had been looking for, these males were familiar and she knew each one well. They weren't any of the new wolves, which meant that her packmates were in trouble. Deadly's amber gaze flicked back to the two fems following, before she continued leading the way. | |
