| So this whole... Evon thing had gone nowhere. Charcoal mitts touched the ground like those of a soundless demon. He regretted leaving Temptation behind, but he would see her again soon. Whatever business needed to be taken care of would be done without him, as they had wanted. She had interrupted their time, and for that he loathed her. But he wouldn't hold a grudge. He had one too many as it was. His mind vaguely wandered to William, in place of Morgan for once, wondering what the sad sack was up to. He knew he was around. But where exactly he did not know or care to find out.His nares came upon them first, then his ears, and finally his eyes caught sight of the small gathering of wolves. Well well well, perhaps now he would finally find a place to settle.... if this was permanent anyway. The one large hessian's accent caught him off guard for a moment. Of a different region, surely, but not far from his own. He smirked to himself. 'Small world...' His large, lithe form moved him toward the bru layed casually upon the rock. Whether they all took notice of him was their business. He had faintly recognized a couple of them from his travels, but he didn't expect any of them to do the same. His air wasn't insolent, but he didn't show an overdone amount of respect either. "Privet," He cheekily tried his tongue in Russian, from the bit he knew of the wandering outsiders near his old home, "If you'll excuse my intrusion, I'm looking for a place to stay among others for a while, if you would have me... and my mate if she'll join me here. Vega James Constantine, sir." | |

| Ooc - Durr..... forgot about this placeXD! Sorrrrry! Ash did not change his position as Dmetri spoke, though he was a little put off by the accent, which he had not expected. He glanced to the little one he called Mia, then to the woman, Reaper. He commanded her to aid her mother with him, and he smirked. It was a long time since he'd been around anyone this young; in fact, it must have been his own siblings when they themselves were young. That was many years ago now. He did not know what to think, so he just remained still and listened as Reaper asked her question. He shook his head to her. "No, I've not tended to it at all yet," he informed her. Might as well be honest, so she could get the job done as good as possible. He turned, allowing her to view his most serious wound more carefully.
"Lost a lot of blood," he mentioned, wondering what she was going to prescribe for his ailments, "Do what you can." And then he fell silent, putting his fate into the paws of another like he never had before. Ever. This was going to take a lot of getting used to. He sighed, waiting for her to set to work with whatever was available in this desolate place.

| Ash nodded as Reaper said it was back down to the water for them. He had been there briefly alongside Despair, but had done nothing to rinse his wounds, knowing little of cleanly, healing standards. He followed the femme with an ache in every step, and found himself falling behind as he hauled his own heft around. At last they were at the water, and he looked to Reaper. Taking her instructions to mind he delved into the refreshing liquid. Tipping his muzzle upward, he lowered his shoulder to the silt below and rubbed it well, which caused searing agony as the lightly gritty sand rubbed against the hideous evulsion on his shoulder. Suddenly he started to shake, and he felt weak. He tried to ignore it and moved his wound a couple more times against the ground underwater. But when his vision began to blurr, he became somewhat concerned and moved toward the shore. He plopped down, half in and half out of the water just as Mia was returning to her mother's side with whatever it was that Reaper had asked of her. Shivering a little more violently, he suddenly found it very difficult to concentrate, and could not focus on the two she-wolves. He hoped that he did not have anything else to do, because he knew at this moment he could not do it. Quivering, he forced himself to craw so most of his body was out of the water save for his feet and the tip of his tail. His amber orbs gazed around with little focus, and he began to feel quite lifeless and detached. (I don't know what shock feels like, but I guess I'm trying to describe him in shock from the pain and blood loss XD) | |

Reaper watched the bru intently and saw the way his eyes flickered in and out. Fighting off unconciousness. She was surprised that he had held out this long. When he collapsed she walked over and using her paw dragged his tail and feet from the water. The sun would soon dry the silt in his wounds and she would supplement it from her own stock of things. Walking over to daughter she picked though the supplies and brought out several Desert Pocket Mice and lay them in front of his face. Softly, countering her stern visage, she said "If you can eat, if not sleep. But you need energy and blood to restore that which you have lost." Then looking at Mia she motioned to where Despair had headed off. "Go and tend to him. He is too courteous to ask for help before a guest." Then she applied several herbs and unfortunately for a prickly plant that hurt but would numb the wounds with his juices. Removing that she stepped back and looked over him. Certainly he was in shock and she wondered if he would pull through.

| Ash heard a mere few words, and it took him several moments to realize that food had been placed in front of him. With a dazed look, he numbly reached forward and snapped up meager morsels. He felt no better, but somehow he knew it would help, that was, if he wasn't already beyond help. He felt nothing as Reaper applied a few things to his wounds, and lay silently still with his eyes closed as she tended to him. His breaths shallow, he dozed in and out of a light sleep, the lightest of noises and dimmest of lights bothering him, though in his state he could not detect where any of the stimuli originated from. It was all just a big, annoying, numb blurr. | |

| She was weary as she looked to Yana and set down her child on the sand. She sighed softly and swallowed, licking her dry lips. She would need water and rest if she was to keep her milk supply up for her whelps. She was sure this was the right place...or at least she hoped. It was so dangerous carting around her young with no safety of a den and they had a couple instances where they had to flee to keep the children safe. She picked up her pup and settled her next to Yana. "Wait here. I think we have come to the right place finally..." She said wearily. "Protect my pups Yana as if they were your own...I will go and see if this is where Despair resides." She said and kissed each of her children before turning her shadowy form and trotting a ways off before howling an announcement of presence to the wolves she scented and then pressed forward. Her obsidian form dark on the light sand, her blue eyes seeking as she came a respectable distance to the wolves gathered. Her head held high but her body non aggressive as her lips parted. "I seek the one called Despair." She said clearly and hoped they had finally found the right pack. | |

| He looked around, sand was... just about everywhere, as well as the scent of wolves. The pup he carried was now settled in the sand, giving some of his muscles a break. Then Calypso spoke. She would be moving on ahead, and he'd remain for now. Nodding, he replied, "I shall. I will protect them as long as my body is able to move, and then some." He was speaking the truth, but he didn't have any intent on dying anytime soon. It wasn't part of his plans anymore, but he still did want that duel if he ever came across that particular wolf. He looked at the pups, then moved Alta next to her brother, letting both rest between his forepaws. Yana was sitting up, constantly scanning for any signs of danger. If anything happened now, he'd have to fight. He and Calpyso had to run from any potential dangers for the sake of the young, but no matter how skilled Yana was, he couldn't carry two pups at once and efficiently without causing injury. | |

| The wolves were scattered about and when two strangers approached them, only one advancing forward asking to speak with Despair. Spite, one of the younger members looked at Sorrow, the obsidian female nodded and the tawny youth scrambled away. Stepping forward her fur glinted with a tinge of red in the sun, tassle flicked carelessly. The sun did not bother her nor did it bother any of them, not anymore. It was clear that this female was agitated with the surroundings. It was a harsh landscape and it was survival of the fittest. You would find no lazy wolves here, where they were all lean with muscle."Who are you to call upon Despair?" the female spoke defensively but not unkindly. | |

| Calypso looked at the female who spoke defensively toward her and flicked an ear but held her non agressive stance. "Calypso, Queen of the Black Pearl." She said and let her eyes flicker to the gathered group. She had noticed one of the young ones scramble away but gave no notice that she had. "I must speak with him. It is urgent." she said and her thoughts drifted to Alta and Caspian and prayed that Despair was in this pack and would allow her mate his favor. She blinked her blue eyes and flicked her tail as she waited for the femme to answer. | |

| Sorrow regarded the female slowly, eyes flicking to the hessian who guarded two pups. What in Fenrir's name was the Queen of the Pearl doing here with her children? Her brow raised and she nodded. "Follow me," Then she turned and disappeared down a slope. There were other wolves that were at the fringes, they looked on curiously but they were non threatening. The younger tawny youth was coming towards her and she smiled as the silly grin on his face. Nipping at his mug he growled playfully and nipped back. "Where is Despair?" she asked to which the youth pointed his muzzle over his shoulder. Following his gaze she nodded to see the ebony hessian mounting the rise. Despair approached them and smiled wearily. "A she wolf comes with two pups and a hessian, she claims to be the alphess of the Pearl. That would make her Jack Sparrows mate." Despair looked at Sorrow and nodded. "Spite you can go..." He rumbled and the tawny bru loped away.
Eyes flicked to where Calypso should be following Sorrow...

| Calypso glanced back to Yana and held his gaze. Keep them safe...her blue eyes seemed to say. She turned and followed the female down a slope. She couldn't help but smile as the youth came up and greeted the female. The young were always a treasure and it made her pine to be close to her own. She looked to where the youth pointed to the fem's request and saw a hessian there that's coat echoed her own. She glanced to the fem and then followed her as they approached the dark bru. Obsidian thorns cupped forward she looked at him with blue eyes and tipped her head in greeting. "Despair?" she asked and glanced to the fem who lead her to him. She wanted to speak to him privately for these were private matters. | |

| Despair watched the female come, bearing herself proudly but also indicating deference. Her question lingered in the air and he nodded."I am Despair." His mind flicked over his past and his relations with Jack, it would seem that the past would always come back. Though he never thought it would be his mate he would be seeing. Inclining his head he smirked, a weary smirk. "You are welcome here Calypso of the Pearl." He shared the same cerulean stare as his sister Akiko, though his was a softer gaze. Looking at Sorrow he nodded his head in a dismissal and silently she made her exit. Waiting until they were alone he reclined on his haunches. "Has something happened to the Pearl?" He could think of few reasons the alphess would come to his domain. What with all those Midnights running back and forth through the desert and all the regular traffic something was bound to happen. Not to mention the stirring within both dark packs. | |

| Calypso visibly relaxed when he said his name was despair. To the untrained eye the queen of the Pearl and the King of this pack looked mirror imaged..one male, one female. She tipped her dial. "Thank you Despair. We have traveled far to get here." She said and then watched as the fem left and he sat. She did as well her feet welcoming the rest. "Despair Jack sent me to tell you he is calling in his favor." She said not really knowing what that meant. "Danger is lurking the borders and is pressing in. He asked if you would allow myself and my whelps to reside here and keep us safe until things settle. " Worry laced and etched her form and she sighed. "I can assure you we will be no trouble to you and yours." She tipped her head in deference. This was his kingdom, she was no queen here. | |

| Despair's head tilted slightly at Calypso's words and a wry smile came over his features. "Calling in his favor...interesting way to put it Jack.." His eyes became distant for a moment and then taking a deep breath in he shrugged. "Very well then, you and your get are welcome here, I am told that another comes from the Pearl with you...send him back, you will be safe here with us." Despair knew more about the packs then they did about themselves and he knew the Pearl needed its numbers. Tassle flicked and thinking for a moment he nodded to himself. "Well come on then, lets get you settled.." He noted her act of deference and stalked past her back over the rise of the hill. The rest of his clan looked at him curiously but with a pointed look they went back to their respective activities. He paused waiting for Calypso. "I shall guide you to your den then your friend will need to take his leave." He glanced at the brujo sitting with two pups. His own son sat perched watching his father from afar, as always his faithful 'cousin' was by his side. | |

| Calypso Calypso nodded thought had looked at him curiously when he smiled and thought that Jack's calling in his favor was an interesting way to put it. "Thank you Despair." She said in her soft melodic tune and tipped her dial respectfully to him. She felt uneasy about sending Yana back but Jack needed him more than she did. Plus Jack trusted Despair with her and their pups so he must be trust worthy. She stood and followed him and then looked at Yana and her beautiful children. "Again you have my deepest thanks Despair." she said and followed him to what was going to be 'her' den while they were here. She would of course ask for Yana to be suffciently fed and watered before he left. Their trek had been a long one. She glanced back over to them and wagged her tail softly, relief in every line of her body. | |

| The hessian eyed the newcomer and her whelps carefully as they entered. He hadn't been much of a socialite here, but Vega had certainly become used to the scenery and cared for himself in and out. It was mostly picking up on the other wolves' dialects that had kept him busy. Her gaze had caught him first, yet another one with the same set of icy blues that Despair had... and that he had as well. It made him smile, to know that he wasn't such an odd one around here. He made his approach slowly, carefully choosing his footing so as not to startle the poor, tired thing. She smelled of the Black Pearl, of where Will had gone. That intriguing scent of the sea clung to his nose from her distant pelt. The bru moved closer, his dark side hidden, demeanor truly friendly towards her. He wagged his tail slowly and spoke, trying for some conversation. His gaze mostly on her, he knew the queen would be out of her element now, and was intent on at least speaking to her. "I hear tell of some wild things going on in the lands of Fire and Ice," The words came through in a crisp Romanian accent. "I've been mostly on the outside. Perhaps when you're rested, and if you're looking for any company, you could tell me about the news from beyond the borders." He gave her a smile, no name, and walked away to his position on the outside of Despair's borders. They hadn't ever actually spoken, the leader and himself, but it seemed they were at a sort of understanding for now. He stayed around their edges and had a home. This seemed more like a family clan than anything else, anyway. | |

Calypso looked up as another dark hessian with eyes that mirrored her own approached her. Her thorns came forward on her dark crown and she looked as his accented words came to her ears. Did she know this wolf? Her sapphire hues blinked and she nodded polietly. "Perhaps when my children have settled in." She said and glanced at Despair. Was this wolf part of his ranks? Curious was her stare as she watched the hessian walk away. "One of your pack?" she asked Despair as she trotted to catch up with his footfalls.

| Despair glanced back to spy Vega speaking to Calypso and he frowned. For the most part the bru had kept to the edges even staying away from the temptation of having a go at Sorrow, which most brus did who came here. Looking at Calypso he nodded. "This is not really what you call a pack, wolves are free to come and go but here it is a sort of...loose loyalty. We have been together so long that there is no one that really wants to leave and besides we've secured one of the best spots in this land." Smirking he glanced at her and her pups. "We also don't have to worry about situations like the packs get themselves into. It's a good life." Stopping at a den entrance he entered first and after digging some out to his satisfaction he emerged satisfied. "Yes this should be good, it's right in the middle, close to the underground oasis. No one bothers us here." Well except for the eccentrics and crackpots, but he wasn't going to upset her over nothing. Those wolves were everywhere. | |

Calypso nodded to Despair's words. Not a pack? She had never heard of such a thing. All wolves dwelled in packs except for the loners. Rouges did as well though there was a lot of fighting to secure that trecherous throne. She flicked and ear and her dark lips parted. "I see." She said and looked back at Yana and her children and gave him a grateful smile. "Underground oasis?" She asked him as she watched him be so good a host to even clear the den and freshen it for her. She smiled and offered a soft thanks that even lit her eyes. It was nice to be around kindness once more after all their travels had taken them through all the eccentrics and crackpots. Yes Calypso had seen that first hand. "When my children are settled I shall send Yana home after he has refreshed and rested a bit." She said honoring Despair's request. "Again I do not know what you and my mate have as history but I personally thank you Despair." She said knowing that her pups would have been in grave danger if she hadn't left. The very thought made her think of her daughter Liar and she licked her nose in worry. She knew she was getting close to birthing and hoped Jack would send her here too so she would be safe.

| Despair nodded his head but did not elaborate on the oasis. She would see it soon enough. Stepping back he paused thinking. "Yes, Jack did me a great service. He is a good mate should think." Reassured that she was good to her word he turned and padded away where a young hessian sat looking at him. They looked alike, Despair and this young hessian. He nosed the youth's shoulder and they both proceeded away, not before the young bru glanced back a strange glint in his eye. Yes, he looked like Despair but there was an edge there that did not belong to the senior. | |

"He is a very good mate." She said softly before she tipped her dial and watched Despair leave. Her blue eyes followed him to the young hessian that he approached. They were very similar could it be his son or at the very least brothers. Calypso watched them take their leave and caught the glance that the younger bru gave. She flicked her tail but gave no other sign she noticed then turned and padded back to Yana and her children. "We have finally arrived." She said to Yana touching his shoulder with his nose in friendship. "Despair has granted me a place to stay. Once the pups are settled and you have rested and eaten Yana I need you to go back home to Jack and the others. He needs you. I am safe here." She assured Yana. She picked up her daughter and motioned for Yana to follow. Never had she dreamed she would be running cross the country with such young pups and was glad...at least for a while...the journey had ended. It was so blasted hot and dry in this country. She missed the cool breeze off the ocean and the salt in the air...she missed her mate and her heart ached at the thought. Slipping into the cool dark of the den she sighed and settled her young daughter and waited for Yana to place her son next to his sibling. "Oh my children.." she whispered softly. "I thirst." she said and began to look around. the den. Despair said it was underground and she would need water to make milk for her pups.
