| Liar looked up as footfalls echoed in the den. They were coming back to kill her. Or had that bru said she should be alive, and one pup... Why. The entrance turned black and she closed her eyes tightly. Lyrics fell on her and she lifted her head. She would have wagged her tail but her body moved in a swift motion stepping over the pup who began to cry then settle again instantly, as if the thing knew she needed this moment. "Khalon!" she pushed herself into him as he turned away and she felt guilt. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left the den. I could have protected them" they were both feeling guilty, and it was only them, no one even knew what happened yet just the three that were in the same den and the monsters who started it... "Did he do this?" She pressed on his neck, the side where on his it bled. "You need a healer... I need to get some things for you... Will you stay with her? She needs her father and I need some air... talk to her...she'll love you. Khalon... thank you...for coming back" she smiled and licked his cheek with as much love as she could muster out of herself towards him. "I'll be right back... what I need is just right around this corner. I promise I wont go far" her mother instincts were kicking in, the love for her mate, the love for her child...not children, but child... She sighed and stepped away from him out of the den. She walked only a couple feet, he could still see her if he wanted to... she thought it was farther but it wasn't... | |

| He had thought she would turn from him in disgust, hate him for not being there. Instead, she came right to him and apologized. Apologized! Like it was in any way her fault. He knew at that instant that she was too good for him, and the fact that she had chosen him, over any other bru, caused warmth to fill the previous emptiness in his amber orbs.
"No, not him... another." The fight with Mel seemed years away, but he suddenly felt a flash of anger towards her as well. Eventually, she would show her face again, and this time, she wouldn't be so lucky. It seemed a day of reckonings.
As she mentioned going outside, he felt a sudden rush of terror for her. "Liar..." but she was gone. Will you stay with her? She'll love you. And she would. He looked at the small shape in the back of the den and softly padded over to her. His daughter. His eyes widened with wonder as he looked on her little features for the first time, and any anger he felt disappeared. He wouldn't taint her with such things. So tiny, innocent... lying down, he gently touched her with his nose, and felt her move closer to his warmth. So this is what it was like. Instantly, he understood Jack. The protectiveness against any, even those of his pack. He knew in a moment that if any approached, he would be wary... so wary. Any but Liar.
"Hello, little one." He spoke softly, as though not wanting to wake her, despite the fact she was probably still deaf to the world. "Don't worry, dad's here. And I'll never leave you alone again. You or mom." He couldn't stop staring at her, eyes on her, auds on Liar, who was only a little way away.

| Harmawginis The ebony brute swiveled out of the battle facing the brute. "Ha Find me male... You will meet your maker if you do such things" He smirked letting the drama seep into him. He then looked at Zai neon red crystals flashing back to there white blue. He studied the male. Crystals taking in every feature every shade of darkness every color of fur. He memorized the male. It was like a snap shot taken in his mind. He sighed licking his chops waiting for Bloodeye to come back this way.
Junior A loud growl left Junior as the fea approached. He was weary of everyone at this point. "What is your business here?" He said aggressively Midnight form staying seated. He looked at her flashing his white blue crystals to a royal blue.

Irritation prickled at the back of her neck making her hackles rise. She had already stated why she was here and what she needed to talk about. And yet he sat there challenging her, an intense look in his eyes as he stared at her. But she had to keep calm and cool, so she breathed deeply before parting her jaws again to answer him. "I am here to relay news about the Jabbar pack," she repeated herself, "The new alpha, Evander, has stepped up to the plate after Damean's death, and the pack is mourning him and his also recently deceased mate. I'm sure that once things have simmered down, Evander himself would want to speak with Jack."
She cocked a brow, wondering if she had satisfied this impatient brute. "May I speak with Jack or will you get the message to him?" she wanted to know soon so that she could get going and be on her way. She would probably have other things to do once she got back home, and she didn't want to sit around with this pack all day.

| He was waiting for a response when someone came forth, unannounced. Junior spoke, and when Bloodeye finished speaking, he said, "We will relay your message, and after you leave these lands, I ask you to not come back unannounced. Same goes to anyone from your pack who comes." Red didn't like the attitude of this wolf, and remember Jabbar as being a dark pack. Perhaps many dark affiliated wolves behaved as so? Still, he was careful to remain civil and as polite as possible, but a bit rough, since she had come without announcing. Yana had been walking when he heard Liar's cry. He cautiously crept up, seeing two wolves attacking her. He wanted to help, but he would be outmatched, as Liar was in no condition to hold her own, especially when the scent of birthing was in the air. Quickly he turned and ran towards Jack and Calypso, silent at first so the two wouldn't hear or see. Running to the entrance of the den, Yana barked out, warning them he was approaching and that it was urgent. He was a little out of breath as he spoke, "Jack! Liar... attacked, two hostile intruders. No one else around- they seem to want her alive, but... I think she just birthed, Jack. The pups..." He let Jack absorb this information, and waited for orders.

| Junior Junior watched as Red spoke his hair standing on end now as the smell of Harmi came to him. He lifted himself now "Where is he" He growled horridly at her. His eyes burning with rage. He looked around not seeing Lair. He pinned his ears back closing his eyes tightly. The plans skipping threw his head. The whispering the tormenting the drama. He moved to the side away from Bloodeye he sped up his form speeding threw the main area. He searched for her...

Bloodeye dipped her head to Red, realizing then that her approach must have seemed rude, but she had been in such a hurry she had forgotten her manners. "Thank you. And I apologize for my intrusion, I will be sure to show more courtesy next time," she said with a nod, turning around to leave, "And I will let Evander know that we are not free to wander here." It was just then that another wolf came running over, going to a nearby den and barking an alert about a two hostile intruders. Her eyes widened slightly. The Midnight wolf rose to his paws, a horrid growl rumbling in his throat as he asked her where he was. He must have detected his kin. She shook her head, and as soon as the massive brute moved past her, she skittered away, eager to be gone before she was connected in any way with the murder.
Trotting along, she wondered if the rest of the pack was going to head out to find Liar and her assailants. Bloodeye moved until she was far out of eyesight of the Pearl wolves, but took a wide turn around and head toward the area where Liar and her family had been attacked. Harmi and Zai still lingered, though there was no more bloodshed for the moment. In fact, she could see the mother wolf wandering about just outside her den, and she perked a curious brow, wondering what on earth the woman was doing. Hadn't her attack been enough to keep her in the den for the next moon? Shrugging, she stayed right where she was. She knew that that other big wolf was coming this way, looking for the murderers. She would stay in the shadows if he came alone, for she knew the two brutes would fend him off with ease. But if the pack came, she would need to lend a paw, though for now she wanted her identity to remain fairly low-key and neutral to them.

| Harmawganis Harmi looked at Zai. There orders had been filled and the call of the alpha sent a message clear. He was crazy but he was no fool. "I think we should return to Jabbar Zai... Are orders are filled and i don't think Evander wants anyone killed other then the whelps." He lifted his form moving into the shadow's of the forest heading for Jabbar. He cared not if the brute followed he was going back to meet his brother.
Junior Massive gray form moving around den to den before he found the scent of blood... By the time he got there Harmi was gone He snarled moving to the den looking inside to only see two lifeless lumps he whimpered to himself sniffing the blood noticing some of it was Lair's. He hoped she wasn't hurt. He moved following her scent till he found her wondering around outside of another den. He threw his head back letting out a howl for Jack. It held urgency. Pain. Rage. He looked at Lair white blue crystals holding sorrow "Are You Hurt?" He thought it would be best not to mention the whelps.

| Zaiaku felt Harmi’s gaze on him, studying his features and capturing them. Oceans moved over the Midnight, he had seen their kind before, it wasn’t hard to spot the breed out of a regular pack. He averted his gaze to the area, not really caring all to much about his companion. Auds flicked in the bruja’s directions at his words, and the joker nodded. Zaiaku valued his life, despite putting it at risk with most of his actions. Oceans moved over where Bloodeye had left, to speak with whomever she needed to. He picked her scent up out of everything else, and moved towards the foliage. Blue lanterns watched Harmi slip away, and Zai followed quickly. He knew he’d see her in Jabbar, judging from her scent she wasn’t far off. Zaiaku didn’t stop to wait, she must’ve seen the two leave, and would likely follow.

| It was nice to know Jack trusted him enough to guard Calypso, despite his apparently suspicious initial arrival. "I will do all under my power," he said, and he meant it. Watching Jack leave, calling for the rest of the pack, he turned back towards the den's mouth, and slowly entered, dipping his head in greeting. He was unsure if Calypso wanted to hear what he knew, or if she would go straight into whatever instruction Jack said was coming.
He nodded at Bloodeye, glad to see she did have manners, although she did need reminding. Deciding not to think too much upon it, he watched her leave, then glanced in the direction Junior was headed. He had started to follow in his direction, then saw Jack running, alerting the pack, also headed in the same direction. Did this have something to do with Junior? Or something else? Either way, that message would just have to wait for a bit...

| A loud howl shook Khalon out of his doting stare, and his gaze snapped to Liar, who was approached now by Junior. The bru had been travelling with the other two, and that was all that Khal needed to know. Getting to his paws, he stood over his only daughter, ready to defend her. He would have been wary had it been anyone, but this bru.. he did not know this man. Softly his plume brushed the little ball of fur, and he was a bit soothed. He did not worry too much about Liar, for last time he had seen these two together, there had been history. True, there was anger there also, but he doubted this wolf wanted to hurt her, especially after enquiring so sincerely about her health. That question added a bit more ease, but he was still aware. A father's instinct, so strong it surprised even him, told him to stand guard, not to let any near, and so it would be, at least until Jack got here. For a pack wolf's instincts, just as old, told him that Alpha was Alpha. Besides, Jack would want to see his grandchild. He would need to know the whole story... but Khal wasn't sure he was ready to tell. He would have to, however... he would not make Liar. She wouldn't go through that moment again, not yet. He would have to inform Jack that he had failed to protect her and his newborn pups... he did not fear Jack's reaction, however. Nothing could be worse than what he had felt only a few moments ago, and what he still felt now. | |

| Liar heard footfalls and stopped, her head dropped, her body turned ready to lunge at anyone who came near, her body turned and contorted into something nasty ready to head for the den, ready to attack anyone who came near, then the body came forth and she let out a nasty snarl into the open area, she was glad at this point that there was no way her daughter could hear what she had to sound at this moment in time but there was so much to be said. "Who wants to know, you and your family?" the words were slices in the air. "Why don't you go ask them... no, go ask your good ol' friend Harmi... as him and his pal from Jabbar if I'm okay..." She felt her body shake... she wanted to kill him, and it wasn't just him in general, it was the Midnights...it was Jabbar, it was someone, anyone... There was a body inside her that wanted out, but she was exhausted at the same time. "I must tend to Khalon... since no one else seems to pay any attention around here I think we'll heal and leave..." she turned without saying a single word or looking back at him before heading into the den. "Honey stay where you are. I can see the wound better" She did what she needed to do and put her mashed up things of assortment on it here and there before stopping and pulling back from him. "Sorry if that hurt. Jack's going to come. I know it. And everyone else who can't stand missing out on the drama that's already been caused." She sighed and pressed her head into his muzzle before pulling back and kissing him softly. "You mister, need to lay down. I can talk to them. I think I'm past the point of caring... right now. I'm angry... I dunno what's wrong with me. I've never felt so...alive" She didn't wait for his answer, she stepped away and towards the entrance. She stood in the opening and waited for someone to speak. She poked her head out and looked at Junior. At this point in time, she wanted to know only one thing...why didn't she care about anyone except the two who were with her right now... she didn't think about anything but them... she didn't care... and why... | |

| Junior Junior looked at her as she spoke... He sighed "I'm asking" He watched her move to the den then as she poked her head out he spoke again "Harmi was here I smell that much but the other two I do not know there sents. I told you guys to truce with them." He shook his head sitting down where he stood "I'll stand guard... There long gone from now but I'll stand guard" He sighed again looking at her... He regretted everything he said to her "I'm sorry for all I said...You can see how my family can push a wolf to madness. I came home to protect you guys but no one listens to me" He sighed again white blues moving to the area ahead of her.

| Jack heard Juniors howl and changed his direction slightly. His pace picked up and he felt scared. He could smell it in the air, blood, fear, pain, anger. H saw the form of Junior and knew that his posture meant something was wrong. Growling he glanced around for danger. "What's happened?" he could smell other midnights they had struck fast, faster then he had anticipated...

| Calypso heard Jack's words and looked at him lovingly. "I love you Jack Sparrow." she whispered and watched him go. She sighed and shook her head and with a heavy heart looked to Yana as he approached. She felt an urgency now with Jack's instructions. "Come Yana. We must hurry." She said and picked up her son and handed him to Yana and then picked up her daughter and slipped from the den and silently, cautiously left the lands. She felt as if the sooner she left the sooner she could return to her mate with their family. Little did she know she was leaving her eldest daughter and mate in turmoil. She paused just outside the border and set her daughter down worry flooding her eyes and a howl of goodbye and love stuck in her throat to keep her pups safe. She looked to Yana. "Thank you my friend for coming with me." She nosed his shoulder and then picked up her tiny daughter and headed out into the lone lands a purpose to her stride. OOC: Library post my loves. | Yana wondered what Calypso was talking about. Where they changing locations to hide the pups... leaving the lands? Caspian was soon in his gentle grasp once more before Alta was picked up. He turned and followed the alphess. It wasn't so difficult for him to leave the lands, but he noticed Calypso pause, wanting to call out to the pack, but didn't want to alert anyone of their leave. He wanted to say something, but if they were leaving, he thought it best to wait until they arrived at their destination. This was the first time since he joined the pack he was re-entering the lone lands. He didn't really care about the terrain, but he did admit the Pearl was a bit more to his liking. As he moved, he hoped the pup in his grasp wouldn't mind that his father wasn't the one holding him. | |

| Liar felt her fur bristle and before she knew it she burst from the den in a nasty snarl. "truce with them...TRUCE WITH THEM YOU SELFISH BASTARD THEY DIDN'T EVEN PLAN THIS!!!" she was yelling at him, tears were streaming down her face and she wanted to rip him apart, it wasn't him, it was the fact he could say that... "You take credit for being bred in that same group, you're a walking talking idiot Junior!" she wanted to rip him apart... 'you can...you can and you know it, specially now' "Shut up! I wont hurt anyone, not after I've been hurt so bad this day..." her eyes flicked to the side and she rounded with a snarl as a wolf came near, it was Jack, and she wanted to kill him too... it wasn't him though, it was...it was the blood lust in her veins it was the anger in her family... it was the horrible horrible history of her bloodlines... "Jack...Dad...They came here, they came here and killed them, all of them but ONE... and Khalon is injured in the den, and I put things on him, but Jack... He came back... and no one was here! She lied. Calypso said everything would be fine..." more tears... it was finally hitting her and she felt it everywhere. "I don't know what to do... their all gone but one..." they buckled and she felt the wind get knocked out of her as everything shook and she went black in vision... 'they were running and jumping. Jack. Calypso, their two pups, Khalon, her four pups. Everyone was having so much fun in the field of playfulness... Calypso was jumping around like a pup, Jack was playing tag with his grandchildren. Khalon was sitting, watching like he always does, protection always on his mind. Liar had a smile on her face that would rock the world into pieces... "Come on, we just caught this thing, why don't we eat it" she smiled and they all came running. "Khalon, where are they..." she looked around...they had no names...none of them did, and there...there was blood so much blood and pain... "Khalon...Jack...Calypso..." then there was eyes... no one was around and the sets of eyes had blood under them and pups... "Nooo!" she screamed and screamed but no one came...then there was one pup who walked towards her, a smile on her face... "my baby..." she sniffed the poor thing, then there was more anger, fear, and Khalon stood around her, Jack was there, and off in the distance Junior... "I don't know what to do..." she said softly and pulled the pup closer to her, much much closer, never would she let her out of her site... the world was was to dangerous... everyone was...everything was...' and all the while when she blacked out before her family the words from her dream leaked from her mouth for everyone to hear... | |

| Junior Junior growled to himself as Lair spoke. He was a Midnight it was his blood but he was loyal to his land. The wolves of the Pearl had brought this on themselves with the way they had switched his lands so much. The place was poorly guarded the wolves numbers where so small the males to soft. the whelps to unprotected. He sighed watching as Lair passed out. He growled moving forward but stopping himself waiting for Jacks reaction.

| Red stayed further back when he arrived at the scene, having followed behind Junior and Jack, as his speed wasn't as good as it used to. He didn't know where the other wolves in the pack went off to. He figured Calypso was still with the pups, and Yana could be anywhere. Then there were the others who he hadn't seen for some time... a long time, even. Looking at the alpha, who had curled himself around Liar protectively, he took a cautious step forward, unsure if the tone towards Junior because the Midnight wasn't trusted, or if it was just the emotions from what they'd learned. "Is there anything I might be able to do, Jack?" he slowly questioned, unsure of how, or if he should try to help, or even be near him and Liar at the moment. The maned wolf was still, partly not expecting a response.

| Khalon heard the yelling, and wanted to go to her so badly it ached, but he couldn't live his daughter. Not unless danger threatened. He had left before, thinking it right, and look at what it had gotten him. Turning his head, he looked at his side. It still ached, but the herbs were taking the edge off, and he took a moment to thank Liar's skill before tuning in once more to the conversation outside. It was escalating, Liar screaming at Junior, and Kal whimpered, torn, curling tighter around the pup and nosing her fur. Eyes closing, he prayed that something, anything would happen to make this situation better.
Then Jack came. Khal caught his scent first, then heard the sound of his voice. He sounded... empty, as he told Junior to leave. Khal didn't know how Liar was, having lost sight of her from the den, but he could hear her still, voice terrified, crying out. How badly he wanted to go to her! But that was not his place. Something deep within told him that this was Jack's moment.
At this time, she needed a father. And as far as fathers go, there was no other wolf Khal trusted more to make everything ok. He would never have been late. He would never have failed were it Calypso in that den. Shaking, he licked his daughter, trying to calm the overwhelming guilt and shame in his mind.

| Red waited, noticing Jack had indeed noticed him, so patiently he waited a short time before receiving an answer. He was still in a bit of shock at all the scents, mostly of blood, and wondered how difficult this was for Khal and Liar... no... even Jack and Calypso, when she learns the news. Nodding, he stepped around them, keeping a small distance away from Liar to reach the den, as so not to startle her, or cause her instincts to react without thought.
Stopping right outside, he said softly, "Khalon? It's Red. May I approach?" He hated what was happening. It made him unsure of what he could do, or if he could do anything. His brother had always told him he had a more gentle heart. This was true. He rarely fought, so while he could hold his own in a battle on a smaller scale, he guessed he would be more of a hinderence if the situation required everyone to fight. He shook the thoughts out of his head, determined to focus on the present and take things one step at a time.

| It was a soft voice that made her attention turn from her last whelp. Gently her eyes found Jacks as she stirred from her dream to reality. The tears began to fall as it hit her the fact about everything going on it wasn't a dream. She pushed her head into jack's fur harshly knowing full well it didn't hurt him. Jack... Dad... Her savior once was here now." how's mom? Does she need anything? How's my neice and nephew?" it took her a moment to notice red was here too. She looked at the bru so glad to see him."I think he'd make a good healer. You should let me train him..."

| Junior He only stepped back a few feet. He growled to himself. This place was more weak then he thought. He shook his head. He watched and listened as the words of Lair where in the air. He sighed. She had gone insane. Thoughts racing as the words that the whelps was a female. He closed his eyes only to open them to there royal blue. He knew now. He growled to himself but said nothing. He was already seen as a outsider in his own lands. O how he wished things had been different. He wished he would have stayed.
