| Omisis smiled as she pushed herself to him. He moved into her letting her body rest on his. Gray pools turning to Red then to the beautiful fea next to him. He was in deed liking her company and let his tail slowly sway as they stood. He let his massive crown rub against the side of her neck as he slid forward letting his form move against hers. "Shall we'' was all he said as he headed to Red. He wanted her to know he liked her but not to much as to scare her off. Massive white tipped mitts reaching the other brute. "So when can we meet your alpha" Omisis tried to have the most respectable tone possible but his husky voice made it hard. His form showed no threat to Red. | |

| His gazed turned upwards to look at them as their words started to become directed at him, a soft, small smile on his features at the sight of their closeness. Omisis' voice sounded a bit different, not because the words weren't directed at Florence, because the tones would have been switched, "No need for formalities with me, Omisis. Perhaps Jack needs a bit more reassuring, although with Junior here, I doubt it. Jack should be finished with the others by now, so we can see him now." With a faint gesture of his tail to follow him, he led the way back to where the pack was gathered. This would probably be the most telling evidence that Red didn't think the midnight would attack him. It was true he was weary when he first allowed them entry into the lands, but even on first sight, it was clear his intent wasn't on injury. | |

| Though at a few points of contact her body screamed for her to dash again, the woman held her ground against the massive bruja. A brief a light shiver had coursed through her at his touch, but she remained still, even more, she returned the pressure. And yet hours ago she had ran from the very same touch from him, but after being away for a while she had actually begun to crave it. Though, she had been in a land that wasn't familiar and with a pack of wolves whom she didn't know. Florence nodded and followed the golden male forward, hazel hues washed over Red again, and she remained silent as they conversed. Again with name's she did not recognize, but there was something in Omisis' tone and then Red's response that left Flo wondering about the male next to her. She recalled his story, when they had been back in Hamara, but she didn't know how far his clan's history went. The physical movements of the male's suggested a past, but for the moment Flo brushed it off. Having the big golden male next her once again was enough, it brought peace and calm, and Flo kept by his side the whole way to the mainland, although with his strides she pushed herself to keep up at times. | |

| OOC: Probably going to be a lot of dialogue even if Chimera doesn't respond, just want to get it moving for you. >_> Feel free to do the same
Jack's gazed flicked over the femme as she approached. He did not recognize the wolf that she had been speaking to but he would get to everyone in due time. It was just the taxing job of the alpha. He bowed his head to her in return. "I apologize for the wait, it is a very busy time here for us." He didn't learn much from what she had said earlier so now was the time to ask questions. "First off who has sent you and to what purpose do you seek?" He pursed his mouth still unsure of what to make of this situation. It was unusual to say the least. "I am not a tyrant to restrict my wolves to where they would travel and what they would learn but I will not send them into a dangerous situation. It is true that we are a bit tight on numbers at the moment so it would not be in my best interest to release anyone. Times have been hard lately." His ears flicked forward waiting for her answer. Depending on what she said he would go back and make a formal announcement to the pack. They had all heard Chimera when she first spoke anyways but if what she proposed seemed legitimate he would bring the offer to the pack.

| Atla giggled and rubbed herself once more against her mother before she too fell to her paws, joining Jackie and now her brother in the playful position. She may not have understood everything the she wolf was talking about but she understood play signs when she saw them. Grinning her tail wagged furiously. "CHARGE!" She yipped imperiously and bounded towards their new playmate. There were so many wolves to play with here! She already thought that her pack was great! Where did the other pup go? She only spared that thought a moment before latching onto Jackie's foreleg with tiny puppy teeth. Nibbling for a second she stopped and looked up and exclaimed "Hey! My Dad's name is Jack! And yours is Jackie! Annnn' you kinda look like him too!" Wide eyes stared up at her inquisitively. | |

Jackie laughed as the little pup bounced around and then proceeded to nibble on her leg. "Hey, that tickles!" she exclaimed, tail wagging. Seeing that Calypso trusted her around the children, she bumped Atla with her nose and aimed to give her a raspberry on her little pink tummy. "Me and your daddy are brother and sister. Call me Auntie Jackie," she replied, still dipped low to the pup's height. She glanced up at Calypso. "You and my brother have a very beautiful family, Calypso, as well as beautiful lands."
Jackie flopped over on her back, her tongue reaching for Atla again. "Is he around the pups as often as you are?" she asked, her paws above her, in case any excited whelps decided to charge on top of her."When we were kids, we used to go on crazy adventures together. I'd think that he'd be over here playing with them more than settling politics."

| Calypso looked at Jackie and chuckled at the way she played with Atla. Caspian was sitting near watching for the moment. This wolf that looked like his father and was his aunt. It was interesting. She smelled similar but different all the same and his little nose was quivering taking in the scent.
Jackie's words hit Calypso's ears and she would smile. "He is now...we had some hard times upon the pack and when they were just a few days old I had to flee with them for their safety. We just returned home....but they know and love their father and he does them. He just hasn't had the time yet to take with them being an alpha has it's drawbacks." She smiled and chuckled at Jackie's comment of them being pups. "He would be over here I think if we didn't have so many strangers among us." she said softly eyeing Chimera as she padded out of the lands curiously.

| He watched, but never moved from his standing position. Wolves moved around, and he took stock, keeping an eye on Chimera, but being incredibly casual about it. His eyes were seemingly on Jackie and the pups nearly the whole time. His attention turned directly to Chimera as she turned to leave the lands, apparently finished with her business with Jack. She acknowledged him as she did so, while his response was an almost invisible nod of his head. When she disappeared from sight, his nose wrinkled. A new scent was wafting through the air, one he was familiar with, but only associated with blood.
He turned, and the first thing he saw was Red, Omisis and Florence, who had apparently just got here. No. The smell wasn't from them. Nor had it been from Chimera, else he'd smelt it earlier. He turned to Amor, seeing as he was just about the only other wolf within distance who wasn't preoccupied. Walking over in his direction, he said in a hushed tone, "Take a good whiff of the air and tell me what you smell and from where, if anything. If I'm smelling what I think I am, I just hope it's my imagination." He had the feeling it wasn't a hallucination on his part, though. When it did happen, he'd normally smell blood with the scent of death. He had no idea what was going on, but it had been in the direction Daija and Liar had gone. Neither had come back. Then again, he hadn't seen Junior in a while. It could be that the three were together and fine. Still. He waited on Amor's response. It took a few minutes for the reek to permeate, and there wasn't anything he could do at this point if he could smell death, and if it was, indeed, part of reality and not his head.

| Hermana paced, letting small bored whimpers come through her mouth as she waited for their turn with Jack. She knew he was the alpha, and he had other duties to attend to. She had the most patience of the two pups, but she still had the patience of a pup. She groaned, feeling as though she were wearing a rut into the ground as she waited and paced, waited and paced, waited and paced. Everything was soooo repetitive.
She turned and stared at Hermano, who was the calm one at the time, but if one looked closely, he was following a butterfly with his eyes. |

| Ruffian saw a wolf walk away from the two leaders. She guess that she was next to be accepted. She stood and shook the sand off of her paws and long legs. She stepped up just about two steps and said to Jack Sparrow, " May I step forward and speak with you?" She smiled to herself and was hoping she could join,as she had lost everything. She waited for the alpha to speak, waiting with curosity and respect. Ruffian was ready to start her life over fresh again. She smiled. | |

| Amor continued his suspicions, not just of the dark pelted stranger, but the underlying situation as well. Daija and Liar never returned back from the den in the distance. Both of their presences had simply…vanished, only trace scents left of their absent beings. And blood. There was the out-of-place, stale taste of blood in the air, just beneath the thick salt in the air. But it was distinct. Suddenly, Yana had interrupted his thought, but it only reinforced his worries more. He inhaled the air, and the aroma grew stronger from the direction which Liar and her pup had left. “I smell it, too…Take a look, perhaps?” Neither his features nor his emotion showed it, yet his voice held great concern for what had become of the mother and child, and he was anxious to investigate.
Vault lowered his ears slightly, as wisps of sand continued to graze his dial, and the seamist sprinkled what he felt was a vile, salty feeling across his pelt by just standing on the beach. Chimera had finished her business. What exactly was he to do while he was here? Relax? He looked over the other wolves slowly, one-by-one once more. He considered speaking to one of them; no one in particular. Their friendliness had seemed less annoying now. Before he could move a step, his paws remained stiff as he reconsidered. What was he going to ask? If he could stay or something? No, that comment might only lead to more questioning and more suspicion, something he might have already gained by abruptly trekking onto their beach pack lands without so much as a word. “Err…” he mumbled to himself as he redefined what he was to do. He figured he would simply leave this place, unknowing if he would ever return. Though as he swiftly turned back into the wooded lands away from the beach, he was satisfied with the possibility that their pack of loners could trash this place one day.
It wasn’t long before he located the knot in the sullen tree where he had hid his “stache” of healing herbs and flowers. He moved his neck about, preparing for the extended journey of carrying these items delicately in his maw once more. Comfortable with his merchandise, he planned a route as he noiselessly began to gallop between the trees, anxious to return “home”. Next stop: Lacrimosa.

| Jack listened curiously to her speech and before he could really respond or ask anymore questions she was excusing herself. He knew what it meant to be time consumed but it still did not please him that he could not learn more. He nodded to her and smiled slightly in her own sendoff and watched her exit the lands. He still didn't know who this queen was. He would talk to Yana about it later. There were more matters to discuss at the moment. Eyes flashed over to his sister and his family pleased that they were getting along. Strange how she just showed up..Life around here was never dull. Another approached and he bowed his head in greeting to her. She was a young femme with a haunted look about her. "You may. I am Jack Sparrow and your name is?" It was good that there were wolves showing up. Maybe they could get their numbers up to what they used to be.
Atla giggled in delight as her new found family member played with her. Rolling over she ran over to Caspian casually biting at his ear. Whispering she giggled. "This is SO cool." She licked his face and leaned against her brother. Looking up at her mother and Auntie Jackie her little tail wagged furiously. There were so many wolves here! And so many to play with! Daddy's pack sure was cool! Attention lost she looked around eyeing others in the pack. A strange smell came to her then and made her ruffle her nose. "Mama! What's that smell?" She exclaimed unknowing of the tragedy that just occurred.

| Calypso would watch her pups and Aunt Jackie play. She chuckled and wagged her tail happy that they had found another member of their family. She wished there would be a lull so Jack would be able to attend to his sister and play with his children. She flicked her ears forward at Atla's exclaim. "Smell?" She said and let her nose twich softly and felt a growing dread in her gut. She stood and barked sharply to her pups. "To the den..." She said motioning them to follow her to a small hole near by. It wasn't 'their' den but it worked for the moment. "Hurry." Her voice was sharp and bode no argument. Her eyes looked at Jackie and then over to where her mate was.
Caspian barked and romped and played. "I know!" He said a bit more reserved than his sister but no less enthusiastic. His nose then twitched and his paws stopped as he too smelled what his sister did. "Wha..?" But before his words would exit his lips he heard his mother's command. Looking at his sister he moved quickly to the den. Something was up....and it wasn't good.

| "Let's," he replied to Amor, noticing the pups were starting to smell it. It was out of place, after all, and something new, yet not so uncommon in his world. Right now, the only smell was... plain death. "It wouldn't be good for the pups or their watchers to see until they are prepared to see." Between Amor and himself, they could probably block most unsightly views.
Without waiting long, he began his quick, yet cautious pace towards the source of the smell. A den. Liar's den. His eyes narrowed, turning to Amor for a brief moment to see if his eyes reflected his own thoughts before peering inside. There was no blood pouring from wounds. She wasn't old to die from age. Either a poison that wasn't detectable by smell, or somehow natural. He didn't know, and could only speculate, as he wasn't a healer. He lowered his nose, turning facing away from the den. "The whelp's gone. Jack and Calypso need to know about... all this, but not in the presence of their pups." He wasn't the type to be gentle or too considerate, so he didn't want to be stuck breaking the news. Yana would if he had to, if only to prepare them for this. They loved Liar. Suddenly seeing this without preparation would probably hurt even more. He mentally cursed. The whelp had a head start, and if one set their mind to it, any wolf can travel a distance given enough time. He'd say it too late to call a search party, but Jack would want to see if they could find Daija.

"That's good to hear," Jackie replied, batting Atla playfully with her paw, and then flipped back over on her stomach as the energetic ball of fluff ran off to her brother. "He can get a little too serious sometimes, I think. But I guess that's why he has a lovely lady like you," she said with a wry smile, when she caught a bad scent lingering on the salty wind. She stood up, brow furrowed. It was a scent that was far too familiar to her nares, one that should have been out of place in these lands. Calypso's eyes met hers and she nodded. "I'll stay here with them," she said, standing in front of the den where the pups had scampered. "Do what you need to do."
The cool wind brushed through her dark-hued coat, not quite warm enough for summer yet. She quietly wondered if Calico and his gang had followed her... No, they couldn't have, at least not over the sea. She shook her head. She was being paranoid. She took a seat outside the den to keep a vigilant watch, but ducked her head down to see two pairs of eyes glimmering from inside. "Everything will be okay, guys. And I don't think I've met you, little boy," she said to Caspian with a wag of her tail. Unlike some, she was the kind of wolf to ease the tension through conversation and laughter. It simply made things easier, and whatever was happening, she didn't want the pups to worry.

| Ruffian had heard that Jack Sparrow told her that she may step up and talk to him. She stepped up a bit and answered his question which what was her name. Her name...she couldn't think of it for a moment. As she was thinking of her pups and mate and her new life, she had forgotten her own name. Ruffian looked to the ground as she thought for a minute and breathed to herself three times. Ruffian looked up again and replied," My name is Ruffian. I wish to join this pack for my life to start fresh again. After what had happened to me." she had whispered the last statement, hoping that they didn't hear her. But at the same time, her mind was telling her that she had to tell and get it off her chest. Ruffian's mind was playing tug-a-war as she waited for a responce from the Alphas. | |

| Jack watched the she wolf with a stern eye assessing her, definitely not a dominant. Her body language was riddled emotion mostly looking like guilt. She seemed to need a moment before speaking and he waited patiently. He tilted his head and listened to her words and of course he caught her soft ending works. Ears twitched and he pursed his lips. Taking a breath in he continued "We welcome you to the pack Ruffian but it is of paramount important that if your past would bring danger to my pack that I know as soon as possible. We will help you if we can." He stopped then allowing her time to speak. Her last comment could have an entirely different subtext but Jack was nothing if not practical. He noticed a subtle ripple of alarm go through his wolves and Calypso ordering the children into the den but as he was not called for and there was no immediate known threat he let his eyes wander his wolves before landing back on Ruffian expectantly. | |

| Atla's ears pinned to her skull at her mother's sudden urgency and her playful demeanor fell flat. Suddenly she was standing at the entrance of a den shooting a last worried glance at her mother before entering the darkness. She looked at her brother and a soft whine escaped her throat. The smell..whatever it was it made her tummy turn and she tried not to let sounds of her distress come out. She wasn't even sure why she felt scared all of a sudden. Her mother went and their newly acquired aunt stood by them and spoke to Caspian as if nothing was happening. It helped soothe her worries. Still though she tried to see past Auntie Jackie to see what was happening. Her father was still talking to a stranger wolf. | |

| Ruffian looked at Jack reply to her statement about joining The Black Pearl. He had said to her that if there was any danger to her pack, he needed to know and that they could help her if they could. She nodded and replied to the two alphas in front of herself, " Okay. Thankfully, no. There is no danger to this pack. The only help I need is a open heart that will be willing to listen to my story." Ruffian listened to the birds above them and saw many wolves around this pack. She knew that it would be her pernament home here. She looked back at Jack and his mate and waited for their reply if she was allowed to live in this territory. | |

| Calypso nodded to Jackie and then, tail high would move forward to investigate this scent. Death was in her nose and she frowned. It was not the scent of dead prey either....it was a sickly scent of dead wolf. Her quick pace would head in the direction of the scent and she would pause only as she saw Amor and Yana standing there next to Liar's den. The scent came thickest there.
Her ears pinned, her tail raised. "What's wrong?" She asked calmly but there was a look of fear in her eyes. She was glad she bade the children to stay with their aunt Jackie for when she saw the den they were standing in front of thoughts clicked and she breathed. "Oh no....Liar...." She moved quickly toward them and then would pause knowing it was her daughter's scent that cloyed the air with death. "Where is Daija?" She then said holding back her grief and trembling slightly with the effort. "We must find her...I will...tell Jack." Her words clipped, short, full of emotion and grief but strength as well.
Caspian blinked his blue eyes as he watched his mother go and wrinkled his nose. WHatever it was it stunk! He looked at Jackie and grinned wagging his tail. "I'm Caspian!" He said proudly and then looked at his sister. He sensed her worry...there was an underlying tension surrounding this scent so he moved next to her and shoved his shoulder against her so she could press into him. "It'll be okay.." He whispered soft to Atla.

| He cringed at Calypso's approach, and reluctantly stepped aside, knowing there was no reason to stop her to prepare her for the sight. At least Liar hadn't been murdered, although that was of little consolation, so he kept his mouth shut until she questions about Daija's whereabouts.
Yana spoke slowly, to phrase his next words correctly, "Her trail has ran off towards the lone lands during the influx of wolves. Since this happened a while ago and we only just picked up on the scent, either she didn't want to stay in a place with bad memories and few good ones, or... she had other thoughts on her mind which caused her to leave. She is not so young as to just wander out of the lands, so there was an intent." He looked towards the direction Jack would be, wondering what would happen now.

| Jack looked at Ruffian with a measured look and nodded his head stoically. "Very well then, welcome to The Pearl Ruffian, feel free to meet your fellow pack mates or explore the terra. We have frequent patrols out if you would like an escort." Eyes flicked to where there seemed to be commotion and he couldn't help but phase out Ruffian for a worried moment. "A moment Ruffian.." And then he stepped past her a scent was on the air. He felt his stomach churn as he got closer, Calypso's back to him. He could see the hunched set of shoulders and Yana's body language as well. Something was wrong..his throat tightened.."Calypso?" He called to his mate tentatively his leg halfway up in the air ready to step forward but he paused. Something holding him back from the den site they were so clustered around.. | |

"Well, Caspian, it's very nice to meet you," Jackie replied to the small whelp, wagging her tail. She ignored what the source of the horrible smell at the moment was; if it was something that threatened the pack, they would have known by now. She turned to Atla, burying herself in the darkness of the den. "Your brother's right, you know. It'll be okay. Who knows, maybe something washed up on the beach. Have you guys explored the beach much?" she asked, laying down in front of the den. "It seems like a wonderful place to grow up... It's no wonder your father picked it. I grew up on the beach too, y'know. Your dad and I discovered caves and sea coyotes and all kinds of treasure meats when we were little... Ever hear of the Legend of Blackjaw the deadly pirate?" She hoped that a story would relax the children, or at least turn the negatively-charged air into something a little more breathable. Sorrow and pessimism did not do well for pups, just as it did not do well for her free-reigning spirit. She silently prayed that things were not too bad for the pack...

| Calypso heard her beloved's voice and she turned. Her eyes blue as the sea looked at him, holding a great sadness. "Jack....Liar..." she looked to the den and then back at him and sat her haunches down as if growing weak for a moment. "She's gone....and her pup has run too." She said her voice barely audible filled with a great sadness.
Caspian wagged his tail and nuzzled Atla once more. Then his blue eyes that mirrored his mother's looked at his aunt and went wide eyed. "Blackjaw?!" He said excitedly forgetting all talks of the beach and living there....which they were really just getting to know the place. "No we haven't heard of blackjaw...can you tell us Auntie?"

| Death. It was an indescribable aroma that was dissident to the nairs; it was the scent of just a body without a soul. It was unmistakable. From the moment Amor had caught glimpse of Liar’s slumped form in the cave, he turned away from it, looking straight ahead at no particular vantage point, as if he were standing guard. He did not dare smell the corpse after Yana had identified it. It not only seemed disrespectful, but he didn’t feel like he knew Liar well enough to do that. There was no mess; it must have been natural somehow. As Amor watched the pups get lured away from the site, Calypso walk past him into the cave, and Jack approach, he turned towards the Alpha and his mate. “I’m sorry for your loss and what has happened here,” he said in the most heart-felt voice he could muster. “Should someone look for the pup?” | |

| Ruffian watched as the Black Pearl alpha, Jack, went to his mate. He said she could go explore or meet other members. She nodded quickly and walked away, looking around the beach she was at. At that time, a foul oder filled her nostrils of her black nose. She coughed a bit and looked at the sandy ground as she caught her breath from the horrid smell. She looked in the way of it and saw it had come from where Jack had headed, to his mate named...oh...Calypso. But she remembered this scent somewhere...her family!
The smell of the death was the horrid thing that filled her nostrils. A tear had come from her eye and she looked out at the ocean, the waves crashing in front of her. Why did she have to lose her dear mate and pups by those mountian lions??!! She walked away from the smell and looked around at the other wolves that had happiness to their lives.
