| Do you ever question that in which history always seems to repeat itself in hese lands. Leaders gone for periods of time that as a beta steps up to take control the alphas come back? It's a sad place to live when a pack that resides in the darkness known once before as Shadowed Forest can't even keep its female of a leader. She was indecisive and cataclysmic to the pack itself. Forgiveness comes to easy for these wolves until pups try to lead and the onyx mangled female tried to control that of the Shadowed Forest. A reign that didn’t hold more then a few weeks before someone else came along and tried to claim such a land. Shall the crazed female return that had claimed the lands forehand of the onyx wench would be welcomed by none other then the wolves who still walked those retched dirt paths now known as Apocalypses.
Where a male and demanding female perched their lives onto the pack of wolves demanding respect and they have full authority above all else… a tactic poorly used on their part. A click of the brain exchanged of few words and change was brought about in the lands of Apocalypses. Shall none forget the life change of the land though and the altering of alphas when those of the dark pack resided with their allies when fire tore apart their home. The birth of the kings pups were unknown as the alpha female vanished that day of the fire. It was so much later when the sister of the queen returned with two pups, claiming them to be his and planted them in his life. Months passed, then a change of a name to the pack again which now claims it to be Jubbar Junayd. Damean Jager still walked the lands, bringing wolves back with him from the lands of Muerta, a new member and two children. They returned to their home finding one place untouched by that of the fire. Akiko, Damean’s Beta fae was to find this place on her own and savor the moment for herself before reporting it to any others, it would play a significant part in the packs future tasks… Change. So much change. Damean fell for a female named Jaded when upon doing so his own heart changed… could the darkness be all there is? What of the packs other then dark… they do not deserve the constant fear in their families as the darkness doesn’t fear when they sleep at night. When his daughter vanished, Petra returned…it was strange to see the wolf of his past but he was glad she made it home. It was then his time to vanish…he made a strange pact with the light lands of Midnight Meadows for all to abide to that lived in his terrace. He was gone for months, the queen, Jaded, taking on the responsibilities on her own. Upon his return he came fixed, as if he had made amends with some forgotten past… When death and betrayal finally came it was the start of a new reign…for the queen had given birth to a son…their own true son in which the wolves of Jab—
Your head jerks up suddenly from where you lay listening and smelling the history and past of this pack you now venture into. Someone is coming towards you walking without any fear or hesitation. As her face makes way through the brush you stand quickly. Her eyes watch you calculating every small thing about you and how she can use you in the pack to their advantage. “You’re too jumpy…this maybe a dark pack but you have nothing to fear from us or anyone…Damean’s orders.” She’s old, tired, you can tell just from how the scents and history told you this is the infamous Akiko… She jerks her head to the side with a follow expression and you quickly speak up as she turns to leave.
“May I see the grave site...? I know I’m new but…it sounds so beautiful from stories told…”
Akiko’s body is frozen as she turns only her head looking at you with question. How much of history is told through the lands of Fire and Ice. A twitch in her face almost makes you think she smiles but it’s nothing like that. She nods and walks on, you follow behind her, feeling more eyes watching you as your bodies make their way through the trees and brush. It is when you squint at a sudden bright light does your breath catch. It’s the greenest place you’ve ever seen, and in the middle fresh grass grows over two mounds of dirt. Your head bows in solemn as you remember the history you hear throughout the lands knowing this is where the pack had buried that of the old king and queen…
“Rest in peace…”
The words are barely a whisper and you look up as a crow caws and soars over your head making sounds that seem to copy your said verse. Your eyes follow it down to see a white wolf with strange markings on his face watching you from across the meadow. It is then the wolves of Jabbar start to appear and you know their names from that of the history… Crow, Petra, Blade, Akiko, Rawbones, Gladiator… but there are more…more wolves begin to pop out and soon you see your own family standing there… you’re already at home and you want to howl but you’re stopped by a pup walking up to you wagging his tail. Instantly you know who he is and your body bends down in a fashion fit for kneeling to a king. It’s then you realize your part in the pack. Help him… he’s the alpha but uses those around him for guidance… only now the pack will test you to see what guidance you offer…
Winds wisps around your head and you catch song from the other packs…are they all aligned now? Was Damean’s dream brought forward?..

| Damean watched all the wolves around. They moved and did as they pleased going back to what he guessed was, everyday life. Green eyes watched them till Silent spoke and he looked up at her. He felt he had grown in the short amount of time, he felt he was closer to her level. "Biologically, Damean and Jaded Jager." he spoke softly, having felt the weight of his shoulders drag him down with just stating those words. "I've heard a lot of stories about them, from everyone, but I haven't heard any from you" he looked away as loud noises caught his attention but he waited for her to answer. Did he want to know more? Was it safe to know more? He had grown and held onto those words that Zai had said, for though there was a stir of corruption to the brute he spoke honest words. And Gladiator too, he had the best interest at heart. Attention was drawn back to Akiko waiting for her to respond to his slight question. "Do you think... I'll do a good job?" he asked knowing she'd understand what he meant by this little question... | |

| Two wolfs, mates, one black, one white, stalk out of the trees and up to Damean. The black one, the female, speaks while her mate shakes sand from his fur. Even now the slight bump in her belly is hidden by fur. She speaks in a cool monotone. "I assume you are the alpha in this place." She speaks to Damean. "We would like to enjoy this pack. I am Malum. This is my mate, Pravus. We come from a land far away, and could benefit this pack." Her steely gaze stares intently at Damean. |

| Damean, though just a pup, let a smile grow on his face as the female spoke to him about joining the pack. A benefit too...? He shrugged his shoulders and stood up walking a few paces apart. "You say you can, but can you?" He felt so old but he knew this was what he had to ask. "What skills do you bring our pack?... our members... our home as a whole?" He questioned her, and though he knew Akiko should do it, he felt he could right now. She would pass final judgement on how they answered his questions, for if she had some of her own, right now he wanted to know his own answers...
His little body stepped away and he sat down curling his puppish tail around him waiting for a response. His black pelt bristled as the wind combed through it, it was a warm wind and it felt nice, but his nose felt the smallest of rain drops and he looked up to the sky seeing dark clouds forming up above them. His chest felt tight with worry of the slight and he looked to Akiko wondering if she would know what they meant...

| Malum opens her jaws to speak. "I've been told I'm a rather good hunter, and I know some tricks to a quick kill." A smile curls onto her face.
Pravus begins to speak for the first time. "I too, am a good hunter. I am fast, so I could take messages throughout this pack, and too others. We both know tricks to get through storms and things like that." |

| Damean watched as the two wolves began to speak to him now. So this this is what it felt like to be alpha. To have those who wanted your respect to give it to you... after you had shown them some of yours. Interesting. He was supposed to be the dark lord and yet, he felt he could do anything he wanted right now. He could banish anyone he wanted, kill anyone for he knew in time he would learn to fight. But here, before him, more future to the pack... "You smell funny..." he said his eyes trailing to the female then to the male then back. "As if you're closed..." he knew what this meant, he had heard about it back in Midnight, he just didn't know.
"And hunting. I don't believe in just hunters if the pack. If the pack eats, the pack hunts." his father's words. He stole them now, used them... He had heard them before, but where. He felt himself turning into his mother and father without even knowing them. Frustration grew on his face and he looked up at Akiko then to his empty side, then back to the new wolves. "Scout Pravus, I have a job for you. Since you're mate I don't think should travel." He looked at her then back to the male. "Plus. I want have a different task for her. Do this. And I will grant you permission into the pack. Go to Midnight Meadows. Tell them Jubbar has sent you on Damaen's request that he know the status on his friends Navi and Echo... and of course I want to know how Cinder is too. Find an adult there and ask for me please. When you return, come to me first, no one else... Safe travels fellow wolf... You may say your goodbyes. And don't worry if you feel uneasy about Midnight, they are a friend to the pack."
He gave a small smile and then turned to Akiko. "I'm thirsty. I'm going to take our new friend to the stream." He shrugged and turned away. "Come with me please." he spoke softly and headed off. His barely reached her shoulder. He was a king in a big world... but he was tiny... small... He wondered how anyone had to take on such tasks... He felt nervous about all of it, and at the same time he didn't care. His eyes locked on each of the wolves. As he walked more water came down. A nice rain fall... No. It was too much rain, and as his feet splashed in water he soon noticed it was the stream turning into a river. "We need to go back soon." he said softly. He bent down drinking some water though, for even in it's muddy mess it still felt cool on his throat. With a puppish yawn and a flop of the rump he sat down in the mud listening to the rain. Letting silent tears cover his face, and no one would know... no one.

| Pravus nods. "Yes sir." He nuzzles Malum in his own way of farewell. He turns in the direction of Midnight and runs off, long legs propelling him quickly across the ground. |

| Sand turned to ash beneath her paws. Echo loped beside Exodus, the heat of the desert melting away as they entered the shadows of the dark, cool forest. She saw the black scars on the elder trees and the lackluster patches of grass, the air still holding a distinct, smoky scent to it. It was unlike anything she had smelled before, and left a... strange feeling in her chest. Not fear, but... something much more than that. As if something bad had happened to the land and all the wolves within. Something tugged at her and on their way into the packlands, she paused near a gnarled tree stump. There was nothing special about the stump, but it was as if... there was something there. She couldn't pin it down. Her brow furrowed.
"Exodus... What happened here?" she said, staring at the stump and the surrounding ash. The green grass and flowers sprouted up from it like new, and fungi even clung to the dead, charred wood, but something about it was very important, Echo could sense it. It was as if she were walking in a woodland of ghosts, and a hundred eyes were watching...

| Exodus stopped when Echo's voice fluttered with a question... What happened... It was strange to hear this question and what was even stranger was how very surreal it all was now, and how very long ago. Her mind caught her in a trance of a life story and she floated off in thought all the while looking down at her adopted daughter...
"Before I was born, right before" her body came to a sitting position. She hadn't thought she'd ever have to tell her story to someone again. "the lands of Jubbar, though they were named something else, we're taken over by one of natures greatest allies and threats. Fire. It took the whole land by suprise even the wolves. There were four of us pups. I only know of one. But he is gone. The pack members fled to Muerta. Our... Well old allied pack, while these lands burned. Legend, my deceased brother, and I were raised there for a short time with Cira. Until I guess my father deemed it safe to come home."
Her eyes lifted looking around. "that was a long time ago but the trace of what happened still lingers. As if the fire spoke of how it could destroy but new life would come from it. You're very observant Echo, to see such a thing. Not many pay any mind to such old destruction, and that blind simple knowledge is what will be shown again one day." she tilted her head looking down at Echo. "when we finally came back, we had gained a new member, jaded, who became my fathers mate, and Damean's mother. They're both no longer here, but with the fire died out one leader, my mother, and gained another... The oldest and wisest of all Jabbar is still here though, Akiko." she smiled and looked ahead... Fire burns out the old so the new could grow, what a strange thing...

| No wonder it felt like there were ghosts... There were. Ghosts of a land scarred, ghosts of wolves now passed, and ghosts of memories gone. And more and more, it seemed, she was learning about Damean Junior and what expectations weigh on his shoulders. He was supposed to live up to all of that? Echo took a step up to the stump, laying a paw on a blooming flower, the petals covered in ash. She pushed down and moved her paw back towards her, the flower springing back up, and the ash gone. She stared at the rest of the ash surrounding the stump, barely visible by the incoming greenery of the renewed forest, but it was still there. Exodus called her observant. Would no other wolf had noticed?
There was suddenly a disturbance in the air. Echo jumped back, startled, a flash of white appearing and then disappearing on the stump. She shook her head and rubbed her eyes with her paw, her fur on end, but there was nothing there. She relaxed and turned to Exodus. "I think... I think I just saw a ghost," she said, turning her gaze back to the charred stump. "What do you mean... 'It will be shown again'? You mean the fire?" The sunlight clouded overhead, showers of rain cascading down, but not drenching her. Just enough to get her white coat wet, gleaming silver. She was eager to see Damean, but the knowledge of time passed, or even time future, drew her in even more. It was something that needed to be expected about the lands in which she tread.

| +-EXODUS-+Exodus watched Echo with curious eyes. She took the soot away, the ashes of the past. What an observant pup, it was nice though, to know her adoptive daughter would one day be wiser then even the eldest of the pack, she could feel it coming from her. "A ghost?" she looked around, wondering what the white princess meant. Was it a ghost of the past, if a ghost and being of the future. It would seem that Echo, with each and every step, acquired something more then just the normal senses of a wolf... "I have never seen a ghost, but don't be frightened by one if you do see one... I don't think a ghost could harm you physically, it's the mentally part that would frighten even the bravest of soldiers. Embrace them, for they could hold the secrets to life not even the sanest and smartest of wolves would know." Exodus looked around, still as if searching for what Echo saw. Exodus turned her head to the side though as the next question fluttered out from the little white mystery. "What I mean by again is, wolves who are arrogant, blind to the world besides what lays before their own two eyes will be taught a lesson. My father was taught a lesson believe it or not. That the darkness that lays in the lands isn't always the best. He had come up with a new mind set after that fire. For he too had been blind to the life that we walk amongst. He had known so many things in this life as a leader for being a leader, but a leader isn't single. A leader is part of the pack and part of each member, before though, he was a single wolf, who didn't respect anyone but himself." She didn't know if this was the right way to answer it all..."In the future there will be another natural being of our lives, a flood, a fire, a wind storm, something... A way of putting those wolves who only see themselves, in line. It's hard to explain, but the world around us is alive, and when things become out of hand, when things become a single power and pride and anger get in the way of their natural order, mother nature will step in. It's disturbing to know we are not the higher power. Like humans, they are their own species, but even they themselves cannot control the caged fires they make, the winds in their so called 'fans' and their waters they try to control, eventually mother nature takes a stand against all of our selfishness and makes us realize we are not alone."Her eyes were concentrated on Echo, wondering if her answer was enough to the questions being asked.
Damean had been alone now. He had walked and walked and had come to the greens. He had only seen this place once. When he was younger. He remembered the story too, that Blade had told him. "Dad... Mom..." he spoke the words aloud and walked over to the mounds of, what were once dirt, but now had grass and flowers sprouting and littering the top of them. He was bigger this time in his visit. He walked up to the small hills and sat between them. One was bigger, this must be his father. And then he looked to the smaller of the two. His mother. Oh how he wished they were here. His little green eyes searched around the small circled area of green. Light rain fell onto him and he looked up to the sky seeing birds and flies dove around trying to harass each other. "Oh how I wish you were here. This is hard. And I'm all alone. I mean. I have Akiko, and I love her, but I feel alone, I don't know what I'm supposed to do here." His little head bent downwards and he looked at his paws. They were still to big for his size. And if he had been running he probably would have tripped. Where was the brute who was supposed to bring word of Echo and Navi. He missed them, even if Navi had been a cry baby sometimes. He couldn't blame her though... for her parents were a lie and her life wasn't what it seemed. He lifted his head and took a deep breath. Oh how he longed for things he didn't understand. With the tilt back of his head, his maw lifted up and his voice released in a howl. Small, for his size, but it was a song no less. It held confusion, longing, want and need, but also love. Was he not supposed to feel love, that was the confusing part, maybe he wasn't supposed to feel this way. He was the dark prince of Jabbar... right?

| Echo listened to Exodus and her explanation of... many things. Knowledge. Ignorance. Power. Respect. All of these words, she was still learning, still trying to grasp their meaning. She wondered if this was what Damean felt like, because he had to live up to all of these words, as he was born to do. He, too, was probably still trying to figure out what it all meant. Life... and death, which other than the few mice she had caught, had yet to show its nasty face to her. She watched Exodus as she spoke, thinking she saw the ghosts again, but she knew not to be afraid of them. They were... just like her, but silent, invisible vigils of the world. She hoped that death would not disguise himself and steal Exodus away, or Damean, or even Navi, who had ran away before she got to know her.
And the more Exodus answered her question, the more seemed to rise. Her brow remained furrowed, and she was tempted to ask Exodus what humans were, when a lonely howl floated above them. Echo's auds perked and she stood up straighter. "That sounds like Damean," she commented, but not in an excited voice; he sounded... sad. "Can I... I mean, may we go see him?" she asked, her tail wagging again, her blue eyes soft. She didn't like hearing him the way she did, but she knew it was ignorant to rush into lands she was not familiar with, especially with the scent of Midnight still soaked into her coat. "And I still have a lot of questions... But Damean... calls."

My daughter is so smart. She thought this to herself as her eyes laid on Echo's eager mind to go see Damean. "You go. I'll follow to see that you're safe, but I think you should go see him yourself. I think the sadness in his song will dissipate." She smiled down to Echo and nudged her softly. "He's north, just walk this way" she pointed her nose, crouching down close to Echo's level. "And I'll just follow slightly behind to see you safely" She stepped back and waited for Echo to start walking, or running...
It was nice to see Echo caring for someone. In this world where wolves only looked out for themselves, seeing her adopted daughter react to a friends call made her heart warm. Damean and Echo had some kind of friendship, in their short time of seeing each other before he left, that only can be described by themselves. Not many wolves know why a connection between friends happens the way it does. Exodus surely could not answer that question for Echo if she asked. The little white wolf had a lot of questions and Exodus knew she would have to answer them the best of her knowledge. It would be a challenge, and though her mind was thinking of all this, her heart wondered where Aladar was. She hadn't heard from him, Or seen him at all, what had happened, what had been done, and why hadn't anyone told her yet...

| Echo nodded and trotted off in the direction of the howl. The earth beneath her paws and above her head became greener - much, much greener - than the pale, ashen forest she had walked into. The rain still fell from the sky, but the big leaves of the tall trees made an umbrella of sorts, the trunks still scarred with black. It wasn't until now did she realize how much she had grown in the short span of time that she had last seen Damean - her features were still puppish, but the baby fur was gone, her legs and snout were longer, but her blue eyes remained the brightest blue. It was silly to think that Damean wouldn't recognize her, and she had no doubt that he would look a little different, for all that mattered was that they still knew who the other was...
She came upon a hillside clearing, the emerald grass brighter than any she had ever seen. And there Damean was, his head tilted to the sky, singing a song of sorrow. Echo paused, but then took a step forward, standing in front of him. "Damean," was all she said. She knew it would be all it took to get his attention.

| Prevus gallops towards Damean, his tongue lolling out of his mouth. "Damean-" He stops speaking, seeing another wolf nearby. He nods his head and steps back, sitting down to catch his breath. His head tilts at Dameans sad song. |

| +-DAMEAN-+ The song had ended and his head fell back down looking at his paws. Oh... there were so many things running through his head. His paws swiped at the grass and he watched it move over for him then stand back up. Was this how life as an alpha would be? He would bend life to his will but eventually it would stand back up? Did he want to do this? Be an alpha? He had no choice this was going to be the path he was put on, he couldn't turn his back on it now, on all the wolves that lived here and would one day rely on him for leadership.
A deep breath and a sigh his auds twitched to his left when his name was spoken. Prevus had returned but there seemed to be no time for an answer because his head nodded to something behind Damean and he expected it to be Akiko. As his head turned he saw the white fur and knew he would probably be in for a scolding having walked off on his own, still being young and feeble in size he wouldn't be able to protect himself very well. The lecture was playing out in his mind and he let his head hand down in knowledge of this punishment coming. He didn't realize the paws in front of him were small, but when the voice broke the silent lecture in his mind he looked up to see eyes at his level. It took him a moment but the shock wouldn't wain away fast enough. His reaction should have been happiness, and though he was happy, all his thoughts came crashing down and the young prince began to cry.
"I'm so happy you're here" he said looking at her, the flow of tears were not stopping, he didn't know if he wanted them to stop. He knew Prevus was there waiting but he didn't need to know. Echo was standing in front of him and he was so happy to see her. "How..." he choked on his words unable to get them out. His body moved on its own and he stood and stepped closer to her pushing his face into her neck and started crying more...
+-EXODUS-+ Exodus watched Echo walked to Damean. Then he began crying. Her heart broke and she looked down. No wonder his song was so sad. He was sad. Hopefully having Echo here would sedate that sadness, this 'trip' would be settled here for a while. He needed someone his own age. There was a male over to the side and she walked over to him taking a larger circle before making her way closer. He bowed her head softly and then spoke in a whisper. "Hello. I'm Exodus, that's Echo my daughter. Thank you for not heading into their moment..." her heart ached as she turned and saw him push into Echo. "Poor guy... so much to do for a pup being an alpha..." she shook her head and nodded to the side. "Mind if we scoot away? I don't want to interrupt their conversation" she smiled and took a few steps away coming to a small clearing in the bush and sat down. She didn't look directly at them, just around.
This place hadn't changed. This place, this green haven in the darkness if the pack and ashes all around. She looked over at Echo, she wondered if the young lady had noticed, had felt the difference in this part of the land. Her chest ached though as she realized where the two young pups sat. Two mounds lay on either side and she knew who they were. Jaded and Damean... oh... the sorrow but the thought that Damean could come here and talk to them if he needed... even if they couldn't respond made her feel good...

| Prevus walks over to her, keeping his eyes off the pups. "'Lo Exodus. I'm Prevus. The stress of an alphaship," he makes up the word, thinking it fit, "shouldnt be a pups. Who are they?" He nods his head towards the mounds, taking care not to look at or nod towards the pups. |

| Their eyes met. The next thing she knew, his face was buried in her fur, and he was... crying. She laid her chin on the back of his neck. She didn't cry, but his sadness resonated through her like nothing else she had ever felt. He was more than sad; he was confused, doubtful, and full of all sorts of twisted emotions, she could feel it echo in her own heart. "Exodus said I would do well in Jabbar," she said softly, answering his question. "I'm still not sure what she meant by that, but, I'm here now. And... There is some news about Navi."
She took a step back, hesitant to tell him, but the truth would come around sooner than later. "She ran away, Damean. The adults went off to find her, but I don't know if they did. Exodus and I crossed the desert to get here, but we didn't see her," she said, her ears falling back, knowing that he would be further saddened. It wasn't what he needed, but despite her falling out with Navi, she, too, was Damean's friend. But she stayed close to him, providing the shoulder he needed, her blue eyes kind and wanting to help him. Unlike the rest of the wolves, who were to follow him, praise him, teach him, learn from him, and all of these other things he was supposed to be, Echo wanted nothing more than his friendship. She would be his listener, his friend, his... echo.

| Ooc:|| GRRRR. I hate when the computer crashes even after you hit ctrl - c. Grrrrrooowwwlllll Haha Bic:|| +-DAMEAN-+ The young prince pulled back listening to Echo. He watched her and felt so happy just having her here. Do well? He didn't know what that meant either but he hoped it was good. Then came the news of Navi. Echo seemed so upset and yet Damean didn't know what to think. She ran away? He didn't mean to, but he began to laugh a little. When he finished he looked at Echo with wide eyes. "I'm sorry, heh, I just. I would run away too if I were her" he shook his head slightly shocked with his words. He didn't know what he was saying, why he was saying it, but he did. "You crossed the desert..." His eyes instantly scanned over her and checked for any open sand wounds. He didn't know if there were any storms when they were out there but he had heard of many things from talk amongst the wolves.
"I'm sure Navi will be okay... I bet she found someone familiar to walk with. And if not... well we wont think about that" he sighed and looked over at Exodus and Prevus. He wondered if Exodus would be allowed here, he didn't see why not, she was his aunt... though he didn't know it wasn't blood related. "I'm really glad you're here Echo. It's weird. I had just sent Prevus over there to Midnight to see if you and Navi were okay, looks like my questions were answered by you." he smirked and looked back at Echo.
"It's. Weird here. This is the only place I guess I feel at 'home' with myself. This is where my mother and father are now." He looked at each mound next to them then back at his friend. "Their ghosts in the lands of Jabbar now. I guess." he didn't know how else to put it.
Ooc:|| I'll finish this later. MMKKAAAYYYY- Cause I am NOT done. -_-

| Soft indentations would be the only sign over the green grass, as if someone was walking softly toward the young king. He had called her. She would look at him gently and wish that she was able to nuzzle him, to touch him, to tell him everything was going to be okay. She reached out and licked the tip of his ear affectionately, though the youngster would feel nothing but perhaps a cold sensation for a moment. She stood at his side looking down at him, her tail curled about her paws and watched over him carefully even as a voice called out to him.
It was a youngster. A fae. She didn't recognize her though her son certainly did. She smiled seeing him cry and press into this fem that was his friend obviously. He must have met her in Midnight Meadows. She couldn't leave the lands of Jabbar...her body bound her so when he had fled to be safe...she couldn't follow. And her love....she glanced at the mound next to hers. Was at rest so her life was lonely until her son had returned. She had vowed to watch over him...and watch over him...she shall.
Her eyes looked up and she saw Exodus. Surprise and joy filled her. Her daughter.....though not by blood. Was this her pup then? How curious.

| Exodus looked at Prevus. "they are the king and queen, the father and mother to Damean over there. Though they are deceased..." she sighed and looked over towards Echo and Damean. They were sitting apart just talking... Probably of many things. "Damean was a great leader I hope that little Damean won't have any problems finding his path. With Akiko's help I'm sure he won't..." her eyes grew soft. He thought her an aunt. That was her story but she in all fact was a non blood related sibling. "so what makes you travel here Prevus.?" | |

| Prevus tilts his head at her question. "I came here at my mates suggestion. She was born in a Dark pack, so this place felt like home." He shrugs. "I just hope its the right thing for her." He adds under his breath. |

| Damean... laughed at Navi? Echo let out a small chuckle herself. "Yeah. She got mad at me, but it was over a game of hide and seek," she said, when a strange chill came near. Her white fur bristled on end, but unlike before, she did not jump at the odd sensation. She looked to Damean with curious blue eyes, but he did not seem to notice the presence. Echo began to wonder if she was the only one that could sense the ghosts, as she could sense someone's emotions without having them tell her. It wasn't a superpower, just... a sensitivity, of sorts. Regardless, she kept the idea to herself, and focused on what Damean was saying instead. "Maybe you feel at home because they'll always be with you here. It must be nice knowing that..." she said, letting her voice trail off as her eyes wandered over to where Exodus was sitting. Though she was growing closer to the fem every day, their blood was not tied. Somewhere, out there, was the white wolf that brought her into the lands of Fire and Ice, the one who clouded her memories. Somewhere, out there as well, was the bru that shared her blood. Whether she would ever find out or not, she didn't know. For the time being, though, Exodus and Damean were the closest to a family she could get. "So," Echo said with a slight smirk, raising a brow. "You're King here, huh? What do you like to do for fun?" She stood up, her tail wagging, and mischief highlighting her features. She thought of all of their antics back in Midnight Meadows, and their adventures seemed to be the prime reason they got along. "Because as King, you can do whatever you want, right?" OOC: Cue Lion King music. | |

| Akiko walked with the young alpha and listened thoughtfully when he spoke to her. When he turned his eyes on her she could feel the doubt pin her in place. This child was so young and burdened. Destined to rise and show his greatness or wither in his fathers shadow. Not to mention his other children...his half brothers and sisters also being her nieces and and nephews. She could see the force of question behind his eyes as well. Yes, why did she talk so little of Damean and Jaded? Perhaps it was the empty feeling at the edges of her heart...but no, best not to think of these things. Her face as stoic as ever she broke the solemnity of the situation by nipping his flank. "You will be a fine Alpha and I do not doubt that many wolves will one day fear and respect you." Just then two wolves came upon them.
Akiko stepped ahead of Damean slightly her territorial gauge switching on. But it was Damean who spoke and it was her who listened, allowing him to try his wisdom. Ice blue eyes switched back and forth from the pair. They seemed legitimate enough, just the usual newcommers. She let Damean Junior deal with them before she looked examining gaze. "I will not contest you on matters such as those but I would not advise making a practice of something like that." He was still to young to understand the dangers. He just informed two strangers of those he obviously held dear to him. She would have to speak to him later.
When he headed off and asked her to come she merely paused and watched him go. Following a few minutes after she stood in the cover of the woods as she watched the reunion with Echo...and how did she get here?
ooc-Rushed ending >_>

| The black hessian had paid attention to the whole meeting, a feat in amongst itself, and by the end he was bored. A task, how exciting! The joker smirked briefly, his gaze lifting from Akiko to the rest of the dismal pack. Without much thought, Zai stood and padded away. It would be good to get away from all the idiocy of the pack, perhaps he could find time to snack on a hare should the need arise. Zaiaku had walked with Blade for only a bit before breaking away, uncaring towards any of the commotion that already began. Zai was swift in his movements, slipping through the woods with ease and ignoring any sound about him. He slipped along the banks of Onyx Lake, stopping only briefly to drink and glance over the terra. Despite now being in the pack for a while, he found himself exploring a bit. After all, he had come and gone from the lands but hadn't really learned every inch of them. Though this lake had been a pit stop for him before, it was fairly close to the lone lands, a place he had more familiarity with. Zai moved on to the borders, slipping along them and doing his duty, an odd scene in his own mind. After all, the borders could've been left unmarked for all he cared. But the hessian had nothing better to do, other then perhaps pester Akiko, the woman was always short tempered. A smirk danced across the pitch wolf's features, and his golden eyes scanned around. His duty was done, now it was time for a snack and alone time. | |
