Robin would not allow Cardinal to make such a sacrifice. Though he did not yet know the bru, he could see the honorable valiance in his stance. Crouching low for speed and bolting for the bear, Robin darted out and made a steep curve, using the build-up of momentum to launch himself onto the grizzly's back. As he expected, the bear skidded to a halt and veered to the right, directing her away from Cardinal. Robin didn't have the chance to sink his fangs into her flesh, for he went flying head over heels the moment she stopped. He rolled on the ground and sprang up, ready to fight again. But the bear was no longer focused on him - her eyes were still on Cardinal, who was closest to her cubs. "Cardinal!" Robin yelled. "Get out of there!" He had tried to distract the bear, but she was clearly set on rescuing her children from the big bad wolf. Auds swiveled and he heard Nuri's command, and he mentally slapped himself. Why hadn't he thought of that? Just get the kids to safety, and all would be well. This land was home to more than one creature.

He dashed for the fallen log, darting behind the bear's path. It would be risky getting the children from the log to the den. If the bear took her eyes off Cardinal, she'd see them all. He approached the log, meeting Teagan. "Help me take them to the dens. They'll be safest there," he asked, breathing heavily. He poked his head into the face of the log. "C'mon, kids. Teagan and I will protect you. Let's go see mama, okay?" he said softly, hoping his calm voice would shut out the raucous bear calls.

Nuri Bade
He met her alarmed gaze with his own and wasted no time and was right on her tail as they raced through the forest to the danger. Why did this have to happen? When there was supposed to be a time of celebrating!? His leg began to throb but the adrenaline drowned it out. The pups! Panic sent his feet pumping faster, pups were a treasure of the pack where all cared and loved them. As they crashed through the underbrush his nose sent signals to him. BEAR! Bursting into the scene his eyes swept through it analyzing everything in a second. Bear cubs in the tree, wolf pups in a log and the two parties facing off to protect both of them.

The pack was biting at the bear's legs, trying to harass it away. No, the mother would not leave her young behind that easily. A deep throated bark shot forth from his chest calling the attention to him. "Someone take the pups to safety! The rest distract the bear!" If they could evacuate the area they could leave the bear to take her young and exit the lands. If they continued like this it would just be a standoff until someone died. Not thinking about how he just usurped Silent's authority he leapt forward joining Doctor and Cardinal barking and snapping at the angry mother.

The bear bowed and lunged towards Cardinal roaring in her anger.

Cardinal’s muscles tensed and his hues caught the bear moving off towards the pups. His reaction was a fraction later then Robin’s and he soon joined the protective group. As dangerous as the mother was, he knew that she was simply doing everything on instinct. He’d rather see her be pushed out of the lands, rather then killed. Cardinal was concerned for both set of whelps, though more so for the pack’s pups. A deep growl emitted from him, and he took a spot next to Robin, barking at the large bear. The scent of another wolf caught him, but the fem was of no concern to him. Not at the moment anyways, but it would seem that she was helping. Cardinal dodged a swipe from the bear, and went around to the side of her, nipping her hind leg briefly. Joining Doctor in attacking the bear’s legs, knowing it would do better then anything else. Hues briefly glanced at the cubs in the tree, and then where the wolfess had fled. Cardinal had seen the slight movement when the stranger had barked at the cubs, and Cardinal himself dashed to the tree. Claws gripped the terra before leaping up slightly, barking viciously up the tree, and clawing some bark off of it. Despite being attacked by Doctor, Cardinal saw the quick glance, and Cardinal continued acting like he was after her cubs. Come on; come rescue your cubs from the bad wolf… Cardinal continued his actions, and saw the bear move towards him slightly. He could see she was ready to charge, and Cardinal was prepared.

He noticed Robin dash in during the threat to one of his pups, inflicted a wound, and backed off. Just then, another wolf- one he knew as a stranger- came in to distract the bear. He hesitated in attacking the bear when he noticed her barking at the bear cubs. When he saw the bear turn towards her once more, Doctor growled, not wanting to see anyone get injured, especially since there wasn't another wolf on that side with her. He darted forward as fast as he could, jaws open. He collided with the bear's hind leg. As well as causing the beast to waver just slightly, there were cuts on her leg, courtesy of his fangs.

The bear reared on her hind legs, trying to see this new threat before resting again on all her limbs. Doctor stayed behind her vision, barreling his head into her leg, specifically where he guessed her knee should be, biting her when he felt like it. The bites, though, were just enough to cause pain; they weren't anything too serious. He'd still like her to run out of the pack lands on her own accord. He backed out to regain his breath and managed to bark out advice, "If you can't attack the face, go for her legs if possible." For large creatures like these, a wounded enough leg would buckle, giving them an advantage.

Virtuous hearts; Tirisfal Valley - Page 28 Silentbanner

Silent smiled as he indicated her to lead with his paw. She trotted at a leisurely place, completely unaware of what was happening in the mainlands with her pack. They had come quite a distance to get away and have some alone time, and it would not be for a while that she would feel the tension in the air. She breathed the fresh air deeply, enjoying herself as she meandered back home. But alas, her smile suddenly faded when a rank stench entered her nares, along with fear-scent from her own pack. "Nuri, do you smell that?" she asked, "Something is not right." Did this have to happen? She had gone away merely to enjoy her time with someone she loved and admired, so that they could expend the last of her heat and see what came of it. Everything had been fine when she'd left; why did this have to happen now?

Guilt tore at her as she began racing through the territory. Guilt and fear. How could she have left her pack unattended like this? But wasn't it her right to personal time and happiness? Not at the cost of her pack's safety, she knew. Fear ripped through her for the pups. She hoped that they were not in the middle of whatever was happening. She prayed that they were safe. But fear also ran through her veins cold as ice for what might now be growing inside of her. She could not risk letting them come to harm. It would break her heart if something happened and her belly did not swell this season. She tried desperately to control her emotions, and knew that her responsibilities must come first; she must take care of those who already lived, and worry later for the undeveloped life within her.

Virtuous hearts; Tirisfal Valley - Page 28 BrightMoonb

Bright had merely come here for rest and sanctity, as she had often done with packs she'd come across on her journeys. She had long been searching for her children, but to no avail. And worse now was the fact that she was yet again the victim of unspeakable acts, and once more pregnant with whelps whose father she did not know. Only half a moon's worth of suns had risen since the event, but she had already felt an unmistakable feeling of growth of the life within her. It disheartened her to know that she attracted bad luck, but at least she had another reason to live now. She only wished she had a mate, her mate - Riddick. Tears stung her eyes at the thought, and she did not stop them from rolling down her cheeks. The pain of seeing his lifeless form would never leave her, nor would her faithfulness to him.

Sighing, the flow of tears stopped only when a commotion was heard. She had long been heading towards the scent of wolves, but now another scent was amongst them, and she felt that something bad was happening. Hurrying forward, she came up behind the back of a bear, its attention focused upon the very wolves she had scented. They threatened the bear, but it was intent on protecting its cubs, and would not be so easily deterred. The young femora could do nothing more but try to get its attention. She barked and howled suddenly from behind the creature. The others would probably be confused, for she was unknown to them all, but she hoped she could do something to help them and ensure that no one got hurt. Maybe they'd accept her more easily afterward. But the focus for now was eliminating the bear.

Unable to distract the creature from behind, she nipped at its heels, getting a quick response of frustration. The bear turned and swiped at her, but she was agile enough to be well out of its range before it had turned. It was not long before its attention reverted to the others, but at least they could try to attack it. She nipped it again, then ran toward the tree her cubs had so cowardly climbed in fear of the wolves. She barked up at the tree, getting a much more direct response from the bear. She bolted off, and the bear seemed reluctant to chase her and leave the area of her young. But if they kept at it long enough, they would be able to harass the bear, perhaps enough to make it retreat or back off.

Everything seemed to be happening at once. Teagan ushered the whelps to safety but he heard Aslan's scream, his fur standing straight up now, and when she spoke he literally choked. The den. Ali! And the sight of the charging mother bear sent a surge of bravery through his heart and he bounded forward at full speed, snarling, "Away from my family!"

The bear lunged forward and nearly took a sizeable chomp out of Jewel, but Robin darted in and slashed his talons right across her maw, knocking her away. He leaned down into an attacking position, banner high and aggressive, fangs bared. He hoped the rest of the pack would flank him. They were as much of a family as any wolf right now. But before he did, he raised his head and burst out a series of loud, short barks. "Silent! Nuri!" he called, but did not have time to say more as the grizzly recovered. She now set her rage upon him, the top of her muzzle dripping blood, and Robin readied himself. However ready, though, he knew he could not do this alone.

Ooc|| POST NOW!!!*

Looking at her a soft smile on his graying muzzle. When she spoke of her happiness he saw that it was true. How he could bring such joy into someones life he could not rightly fathom. But his smile faltered for a moment when she thanked him. Features growing somber in dawns light. She should not thank him for something he would freely give to her because....because what? Did he love her? Yes...was he in love with her? Body trembled with a queer rawness at the thought but it was not a bad thing. Again he gained his smile and leaning forward he licked her cheek.

"Yes, we should be getting back, after you my dear." He indicated the lead with his paw. Laughing at her affections he trotted after her back to the mainlands. Unaware of the panic that had taken with everyone else...

His eyes held a hint an anguish as the mother bear charged. She was only protecting her own young. Doctor wanted to attack due to his protective instincts, yet he wanted to spare the bear, if possible. Although that was probably unlikely. It was either the bear or the pack. That's how all his decisions felt like, actually. His allies or trying to spare the enemy and relocate them. He was also fairly certain that trying to communicate with the bear wouldn't do any good in this case, but still, he felt as if he had to try before his allies attacked- they always did, so why would he assume otherwise this time?

He stepped forward a few steps warily, but never stepping past Robin. He stared at the charging bear, his eyes communicating for him, as his words may not be understood by other creatures. But this bear was enraged at the potential threat to her cubs, and ignored the foolish wolf who dared to try to call for an end to a barely started fight. Doctor's eyes narrowed as he crouched, knowing they'd have to attack. He'd get himself- or the others- killed if he kept trying to do this. It was only a matter of time before he would spring himself from his position, as he was still waiting to see if Robin would say anything to him or the newcomer he had yet to introduce himself to.

Jewel

The white whelp with the two toned eyes and pink nose was hot on the heels of her friend and was about to pounce on her no good brother Koda when she heard the yelling. She skidded to a stop and her ears pinned. Father didn't usally yell like that. She turned and looked at him with her different colored hues and then was distracted by Aslan running away and Koda telling Dad that he knew they were there. Curious as all pups are she turned to see the two bear cups mewling and climbing up a tree. Then she saw the reason for the fear in her father's voice. Everything happened so fast and Jewel froze for a moment. The mother bear stood upon her hind legs and roared her defiance at the pack. Aslan's mother urging her forward she finally snapped out of it and ran for where her father was. Seeing the pups flee set the mother bear into action and she charged.

Another pack member to greet, Cardinal smiled at the white male. It was definitely going to be a good home. The question that fell from Robin’s maw was expected, Cardinal knew he would be asked many more times even after the male. It would be simple to say that he had indeed come far, details were not entirely necessary. Cardinal’s lyrics never fell, Robin caught a scent, and the granite bruja soon picked it up as well. Hues darting around, he stood at attention, watching Robin dash away. Hesitating for only a second, Cardinal followed swiftly. Coming up on Robin’s other side, Cardinal quickly glanced at the bruja who appeared next to Robin. There wasn’t time to play meet and greet, narrowed hues shifted towards the two cubs. Then his hues flared briefly at the sight of the mother, the large beast was only doing what came naturally to her. Though that put danger in their paws, which caused the exact reaction, protect. While not small, the three of them were not likely to take on the mother on their own. Any wolf knew an angry mother could take on a pack. Muscles tensed, orbs locked on the bear, Cardinal waited. Last thing he wanted was for his new home to be demolished, along with the new wolves he had already begun to like. What was going to happen? Only swiftly did Cardinal glance at Robin, expecting some kind of order. Cardinal was prepared for anything.

The fem was about to pounce on Koda when a voice broke their fun and she came to a sudden hault right behind him. Her ears pulled back quickly and she looked sidelong towards the two furry brown cubs. She knew what those were. She knew about them too well, cub or not, they had bigger nails then anything else she knew. Without a second glance she ran away, eyes still on the cubs till she passed Robin and ran between her mother's legs. "Momma! Please, my new friends. Please make them go away, Momma!" she had hot tears rolling down her face and she felt sick to her stomach thinking of what had happened before. She was left alone though as her mother ran forward hearding the pups up the hell towards Robin.

"Dad! I knew they we--" he cut off his voice as he saw his father's look and ran over to him without question. It was a first but something wasn't right. His dad was too upset about something. He came up next to Robbie and looked up at him. "Hey, dad, what's wrong?" Then his eyes landed on Doctor and he followed their look. "What are THOSE!" he pounced around and looked at the two cubs while his tassle shook slowly but his mind trembled with excitment. "Robbie! Look at those things!" He wanted to go play but there was the sound of snapping twigs and he jumped back as a bigger thing came out slightly. He had no idea how 'big' she was. He felt the rushing of fear and he stepped back. "Wha..." he couldn't even finish for Teagan was right there in seconds pushing him and Robbie with her nose.

"Children, come on. Now. Over there, now." she was pushing them towards a log, pushing them towards it. Aslan was crying but she obayed glad that her friends were there. "Jewel. Now, Sweetie, lets go" She was pushing them along, going faster and faster. Aslan went inside, Koda went inside, she didn't quite stop to see if Robbie went in or Jewel but she didn't step far from the log. "Robin. Cardinal. I really hate to be a burden of bad news, but you came from over there Robin, the den is right across from where, she's...coming from" And her eyes landed on the bear who now was fully emerged coming out to state her territory and mothership over her cubs. The sound of her daughter screaming for her made her step back but she was fully alert, fully aware... She had no idea what to really do, if someone got hurt, infront of Aslan again...

Robbie watched his brother and his sister amused and ready to join in on their game. The new pup fascinated him and his gaze kept traveling to her curious form. Then he had wandered off with his brother near the water but suddenly he saw a blur of movement as the girls ambushed Koda. Yipping in excitement he bounded over to the wrestling cups and was about to pounce when the sharp hiss of his father came to his ears. Instinctively his body flattened and his ears pinned to his skull wondering what brought on his fathers wrath. Glancing at his siblings and Aslan he saw the panic in his fathers face and it seemed to transfer into his system. "Dad...daddy? What's wrong?" He whined in a voice that was no conducive to quiet. .

Doctor was quite proud of himself. He was able to restrict his roaming within the packlands and not one step outside. It was in his nature to wander around and too far from his self-proclaimed borders. Normally when he did, he got into trouble- the trouble which seemed to constantly follow him when he travels to new places and occasionally when he returns to familiar lands.

He was trying to clear his mind, which had been unsettled since he first came to these lands. Still, he'd taking a liking to this pack which was slowly gaining new members. He tensed, hearing Robin's shout, then ran forward, towards his voice. It was now he noticed the unwelcomed scents. He knew not to try to keep his walking pace, since it was also in his nature to help others. Cautiously appearing behind Robin some time later, he noticed the two small cubs first. THen he looked up, and wondered if he would always be destined to fall into the middle of something.

He glanced at Robin, eyes questioning. He didn't want to attack just yet- not when the pups were so close. Any sudden action might cause the bears to attack before they got to a safer distance. Still, it was hard to restrain this sudden urge to lash out. Normally a calm, gentle wolf, Doctor had his rare moments of justly viciousness, despite haiting to kill. Because of his upbringing, he always wanted revenge, yet didn't at the same time. This case was similar, but he knew he could keep himself in check and able to follow any order- from attacking the bear to leaving the scene for the protection of the pups.

"It is a pleasure to meet you both. I believe my children - Jewel, Koda, and Junior - are out there as well," he said, tipping his dial to where they could hear the pups romping through the brush. "My wife Ali is resting in the den. However, I am certain she would wish you welcome." At this he took a seat, relaxed in the refreshing, spring atmosphere. Pretty soon the bright days would stretch into summer. He thought of his own home - or, what used to be his home - the vast arctic tundra, constantly buried in diamond-white snow. Crimson eyes flashed to the newcomers, curious. "May I ask where you come from? Did you have to travel far?"

Sunset-hued auds pushed forward in eagerness for a reply, when the strong stench of musk slammed into his nares. No, no. It was more than musk. It was musk and decay and earth. His eyes widened in alarm. "Do you smell that?" he asked, standing to attention and swiveling in the direction of the scent. It was coming from where the children were. Without asking them to follow he turned and bounded towards the younglings, but halted the second he spotted two, brown, furry, roley-poley type creatures. Grizzly bear cubs.

And mama was sure to be nearby.

"Jewel! Koda!" he hissed loudly, hoping the bears would not hear him. The cubs were not the problem - they each were nearly the size of the young wolves - it was the full-grown mother Robin was worried about. Mama bears were known to have taken down an entire pack when protecting her children. "Aslan! Junior!" he called a little louder. The bear cubs suddenly made a loud bleating noise, as if they were in trouble. "Get over here!" he finally shouted, fur on end, scared for their lives. Mama bear poked her head through the brush, furiously curling her lips and rising up on her hind legs. She was not happy.

And there they were. Koda was sitting alone, minding his own buisness and Aslan poked her friend with her shoulder and nodded towards him. "One...two..." she was whispering so low only Jewel could hear it. They were going to tackle him, together! She ran forward, hoping her friend would join her, now... (Short post.....oi)

*Jewel*

Jewel laughed at Aslan's mocking Koda. He did deserve a good chomp to the tail. Jewel followed suit and crouched to a stalk alongside Aslan. She raised her two tone eyes to peek over a rock. Yes, both boys were there. A smile bloomed across her face. "Let's get em!" she whispered softly and bolted for Koda, hell bent on knocking him into the water.

Silent smiled radiantly when Nuri joined her, and she leaned into the comfort of him, relishing in his sweet affections. When he spoke, her ears tingled, and her smile seemed to somehow brighten further. "I feel lovely," she stated sincerely, "Absolute bliss. I'm not sure I've ever been so happy in my life.. I hope you are as well." Her eyes narrowed and a tender look was given to the older gent. What would she have done without him? "Thank you, Nuri." She hoped he wouldn't wonder what she was thanking him for. After all, he had made this all possible. He may not have known it, but he'd always been very charming, and had easily won her heart and respect. Now, together, they had a bright future to look forward too. She thought little of his age, and never dwelled on the fact that he would be gone long before she or their pups. Negativeness such as that just wasn't allowed as a part of her thinking.

She did not want to go back yet, and she felt that the pack was doing well, but it was her responsibility to assume her duties and be ready at any moment to quell arguements or protect her pack. Amber orbs probed Nuri's body and face before she spoke once more. "I hate to say it, but I think we'd best be getting back now," she said softly, somewhat regretfully; she never wanted their time together to end, "I don't want anyone to worry over us, we have been gone a while." She rose gracefully to all fours, giving a mighty shake of her mane before raising her regal crown and looking to where they had come from. Glancing back to him, she gave him a soft kiss upon the cheek, and a loving lick to his ears. She turned again, and this time began to plod back toward the mainlands.

Nuri

He had been awake all the while she had slept and when finally awoke he had just recently drifted off into the dream fields. Here was a moment he never wanted to give up. Thoughts of the nights past flitted through his mind and of course it had been a great pleasure, the intimacy of their connection warmed his bones and he felt happier than he had in a long time. Relishing the soft touch on his cheek he did not yet open his eyes, instead just took in her lovely scent. Her perfume was still about her but it was fading fast as it should after such a coupling. Listening to her padfalls move out of their enclosure he sat up. Lids snapped open revealing his emerald irises that watched the alphess fondly. It pleased him that she appeared to be in such bliss.

Finally he rose and stretched and quietly padded out and sat next to her, wondering what the future would bring. He had banished all thoughts of becoming a father and now he dared to hope. Leaning towards her he licked the top of her crown in an affectionate manner. "How are you this fine morning?" he spoke softly, a hint of a smile playing around the corners of his mouth.

Cardinal nodded, he could understand why it was harder for Teagan. As a whelp, Aslan most likely just had a sense of adventure, where as Teagan was concerned about a place to call home. Then he was thanked for just talking, and it made him smile a bit. “The pleasures mine, we’re both new, so I thought perhaps to begin making friends with you.” Cardinal’s hues looked from the rest of the pack land to Teagan, if he was going to make friends why not start with a new arrival like himself. Now, there was a chance to make yet another friend, auds perked to catch the voice of a male. A bruja dubbed Robin, Cardinal smiled towards the male. “And I am Cardinal.” Lyrics fell shortly after Teagan’s, and Cardinal’s hues lifted to the sky briefly, before falling back to earth. As a whelp, he recalled wishing to be a bird, and wishing he could fly. Of course, now he knew it was impossible. But back then, as a pup, anything was possible.

Teagan listened to Cardinal and smiled as he commented on Aslan's pelt. "Thank you. And yes, it was more so hard on me then her. She never understood why I was going from place to place with her. I didn't want her to grow up like I had, scattered, I just want her to have a stable home." She smiled and looked over to the bru. "Thanks for talking with me, even about this simple stuff. It's nice to have a...weird to say, pack mate, that I can talk with" she smiled and looked over as the bru dubbed Robin walked over. She stood and nodded before sitting back down.

"Hello Robin, I'm Teagan, and the one over there is Aslan, with your little girl" she smiled and watched the two, thinking how strange it was that they were so much older now...that time had morphed their bodies into grown woman or soon to be...

Aslan smirked at Jewel. "Find the boys. Pft." she stuck her tail up. "La la la Koda koda koda, I don't like to listen" she smirked and turned back to Jewel. "Their over by the water. Go tackel Koda. He deserves it for his little joke he played the other day" She winked and crouched down and began to army crawl her way towards the water...the boys were there...

Virtuous hearts; Tirisfal Valley - Page 28 Silentbanner

Silent stretched out, grumbling lazily as she looked to the daylight that shone into hers and Nuri's private den. She had spent a wonderful evening Nuri, one to remember for years to come, and she regretted that the night had ended and day had come so soon. But it was life. How could the good times go noticed if they never ended, if there were no bad times with which to compare the good? She rose to all fours, sturdy legs holding her as she yawned and arched her back. Her tassel swished and she looked to Nuri. She stepped out of the sun's rays and let them fall upon him, to wake him. She wanted to see his eyes sparkle when he woke. "Nuri?" she called softly to him, and bent down to nuzzle his cheek, "The day has come."

She didn't know if he'd heard her, but she knew he'd come to eventually. Tail waving, she exited the den, the fading scent of her heat still lingering. She wondered about it slightly; why hadn't it gone yet? Her heart beat faster for a few moments, but she didn't dwell on the thoughts too long. It would break her heart if this litter was never meant to be, and nothing came of her coupling with Nuri. He was perfect; loyal, noble, courteous. His heart was always in the right place. For a long time she had loved him for these things, and she wanted nothing more but to bear his children who would hold the same traits. Tossing her thoughts aside, she glanced back over her shoulder, then sat down, just to breathe and take in her surroundings, relaxing for a rare moment. It had not been long, but soon she knew she needed to take on her duties again.

Closing his eyes and shaking his head, Robin could do nothing but let his son go. He should have reprimanded him, punished him like a good father, but there were times when one had to learn that their child was not going to listen anymore. Robin could only hope that when the real danger came about, Koda would listen to him. Disobedience was one thing, but defying his parents altogether was another. Robin had to admit that he felt somewhat guilty - Koda more than likely gained his unruliness from his side of the family. He had a few aunts and uncles that were more than practical jokes and funny pranks. With a weight in his heart that only a father could carry, he hoped that Koda would not turn out like them.

He nuzzled his wife, who had fallen asleep in the den. She was absolutely exhausted, the beautiful silver in her fur appearing to dull and the shimmering texture to it seeming to fade. She was always watching over the children - even though now they were old enough to take care of themselves - back like when they couldn't even open their eyes. She was such a sweetheart. Deciding not to wake her, Robin departed for the main terrace, upon which he saw a new set of faces. Koda, Jewel, and Junior were off in a friendly tussle with these other faces, about their age, and Robin found a pair that were just about his. Sunset-hued tassel waving behind him, he approached the two, standing a good ways away as not to interrupt their conversation, but to politely interject. "Hello, my name is Robin. Is there anything I can do for you?" he asked, formal and always ready to help.

She had done much the same as him, traveled far and searched for a home in many packs. It was difficult to leave certain ones, for he had found peace in quite a few of them. But nothing prepared him for a land like Tirisfals. A warm greeting, and a requested rank. Cardinal could picture himself staying, and he knew he would. It was time to forget those other packs, all of them. He need not worry of the past anymore, Cardinal would think of the present and future. “Must’ve been quite the journey to undertake, for the both of you.” Hues shifted to the playing pups, and spotted Aslan. The red was easy to spot, and he understood what Teagan had said about her breed. “Despite the mixed breed, her pelt is beautiful.” Cardinal returned his gaze to Teagan, and smiled briefly. “I’m glad you have found peace here aswell, after such a trek it’s good to relax among others.” He no longer need to make another trek, and it seemed neither did Teagan or Aslan. Silent was a good alphess, even though his stay was short so far. He could tell that it was home, and he intended to stay.

*Jewel*

Jewel slowed and let Aslan tackle her. It was fun to have a roll in the dirt even if they were really getting to big to play those kind of games. She barked still as loud and boisterous as ever..well at least at play. She tugged playfully on Aslans ear and tugged. Laughing she rolled and stood up on swift paws. Jewel had grown, lean and lithe. Her brother's both had outgrown her in size but she was no slouch. She was a looker. All wolf except for her two toned eyes and her nose had remained pink. It was all part of her mother's heritage but Jewel didn't know that she was different. No one of this pack treated her thus so she didn't know anything of discrimination against hybrids.

Her powdery coat was sleek right now but come winter it would be thick and luxurious. She stood there tail wagging. "Let's go find the boys!" she laughed and nudged Aslan lovingly. Aslan was the sister Jewel never had. She bounded and then set off at a run to find her brothers.

Ooc:|| Make sure you guys, who play the other pup siblings kinda read into this. It wont change the story time for the pack, just the pups.
Bic:||

It was a game of hiding. And when they were younger, it was easier to slip behind a rock, or a tree and stay there long enough till the one who was it, would come and find you. Now though, they hid amongst the forest, in greater distances. Koda had grown lean, he was fast and quick to react in situations. Aslan had grown even more slim then she was as a whelp. Her fur was not fluff, it was flat. She looked like a red wolf all the way. Along her neck held that dark path of fur, like a maned wolf, but she was closer to the red family.

All of the whelps had seemed to grow, and yet, their games still continued. There was the tag, but it was divided into the whole of the lands now, and then the hide and seek tag, well, that was pointless but it was good to have them all run. They were all quick in their own ways, and smart in others. The siblings were tuned into eachother as one, while Aslan was the odd little duckling who just tailed with them as the sister from another mister and mistress. They were all close, and they were all kin in some way or another.

Teagan's plan to have Aslan grow up in a pack had worked out whole heartedly better then she had wanted. Her daughter was happy, specially with her new friends. She was always happy to hunt, to eat, to sleep, so long as she was with her friends. The families had grown close, and the hearts of the pack seemed to be closer. As she sat with Cardinal her eyes smiled to him. "Far travel indeed. We came from, well, not a pack, but many packs, and I just couldn't find one good enough for my little girl. Being here though, it's amazing. And I feel it'll all work out well in the end." She looked as the kids played and smiled turning her attention back to Cardinal. "She's a mutt, if you can't tell. Rather a strange looking one, but a mutt indeed. She's not my daughter daughter, but she's as close as all get out." She nodded and watched the pups, laughing as Aslan went in for the tackle of Jewel again.

*Jewel*

Jewel giggled and rolled over as Aslan scrambled out from under here. Quick as a wink Jewel was up on her ivory feet once more and running away from Aslan and just as quick she skidded to a stop when the other pup yelled "Wait!" Jewel had never heard of hide and go seek tag and she bounded back excitedly. "A new game?!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. "Yes!" and she pounced on Aslan playfully. It was so nice not being the only girl anymore. "How do we play?" She asked and then rolled off Aslan and lay there being silly. Then she yelled. "ROBBIE! KODA!! C'mon!" She was impatient to get this new game started.

OOC: What do you think of growing the pups up a little bit after this...say make them almost a year or at least 6 months? What say you?
