Yet another newcomer approached, and Khalon tensed as he saw Jack's reaction. Obviously the alpha was protective, which was perfectly understandable. As Calypso's time grew nearer, even Kal would have to watch his step around her anxious mate. Still, they couldn't have a fight right off. Luckily, hwoever, Jack was a master to his nature, and no such thing occurred. Relaxing slightly, he watched the exchange, eyes drifting now and again to Liar. It was a reflex, his mind subconsciously noting her before once again returning to the conversation on hand.

It seemed that Jack had the same reaction to Calypso, for he seemed to note that she was tiring. As he dismissed her, however, Kal heard his name, and instantly realized what his alpha wanted of him. With a slight nod, he stood, following Calypso and settling a ways away from her, eyes still on the gathering, but ears pricked, alert.

He was close enough to see what was going on, and another bru had joined the party. Kal's ears flicked in annoyance.... a patrol was obviously needed. Instantly Khalon saw Jack's hackles rise, and he itched to jump to his feet and go to his side. It was an action that he could not preform at the moment, however, and he forced himself to remain, knowing that he couldn't leave Calypso unattended. She and her future pups were too important for that, and Jack would never forgive him if he left his post and something went wrong. For that matter, he would never forgive himself, and Liar... he did not even want to think of it. Instead he sighed, glaring angrily at the obviously depraved hessian. Jack was more than capable of taking care of things himself, anyway.

Kal's auds tipped back as he heard Calypso's murmerings, and his glowering expression slowly turned into a smile. She would make an exceptional mother, he knew it. After all, she was already the mother figure of almost all of the wolven in the pack. Liar and her two adoptive siblings, himself and his kin.... finally she would have her own blood to nurture. It was a good time, this, and there was no need to ruin it with malice. Hopefully Jack would send the bru away and be done with it.

He was never much for these show of words and even now he desired to smack the hessian in his face with his claws raking down his flesh. Just because they were neutral did not mean there was no bloodlust in them. They merely wished to be average but of course this brute knew that and was just trying to goad him on. "Better a pup than a paralyzed doe." He shot back with the same cool and even voice. So tempted his was to sink his teeth into this bastards muzzle. Jack's muscles twitched with anticipation of taking this hessian down. This was his territory and he wouldn't have worthless scum in it. Ear flicked at the exchange between Matthew and Lennox.

A low rumble in his chest, it was one thing to take a shot at him but another at his pack...well his future pack. He did not even flinch when the brute spat at him. His eyes were hard and his lip twitched. Of course he was getting mad as hell. "Us neutrals are better than some flea bitten rouge who can not find a pack for their worthless hide." Wolves were social creatures and were designed to live in packs for the most part. To not be able to have a pack was sort of a shame. Though he imagined that some preferred it.
"As for being removed." Now his lyrics dripped with a cold venom."Well, I suppose that you will escort yourself out. No need to be in the presence of us worthless nuetrals, lest you be mistaken for one of us." An old lilt crept into his tone at his last words and his hues shone with some unrecognizable emotion, though it was hardly friendly. Jack was no push over and he was certainly not a small brujo. Right now though he did not need the stress of a fight to put a rouge in his place.

"Better a pup than a paralyzed doe," Matthew's grin only spread. "Well Jack, if that's what you'd rather be called..." Oh how he could sense the tension. Oh how he relished it. He knew how much Jack wanted to bite, and he was more than happy to give him the bait. A flea-bitten rogue, eh? Powerful words indeed. He cleared his throat to speak. "Excuse me, but I choose not to be part of some sort of average commune that wants to be friends with everyone and no one. You should make up your mind. Surely no one would take me for one of you. I'm much better than that."

"You wish someone would grace you with that assumption, Matt." William's growl was strong, and he was inches away from snapping at the dark hessian himself. He was more than willing to get into a good tangle with this one. He was so enraged with his presence that he took it upon himself to give commands. His tall frame stalked forward, his nose a centimeter from Matthew's cheek. "Jack is right. Get yourself out of here. We won't be the antagonists."

Matthew chuckled darkly. He kept his eyes on Jack's. "Look at you, Will. You're already just like them. You could be like your brother. Like me. Stronger than this. But..." he sighed. How wonderful this was going to be. "If someone has to be the antagonist..." Like lightning he turned, sinking his fangs ruthlessly into William's face. He didn't want to get too forward, and just barely missed below his eye.

The pepper drake would normally not have yelped, but he was so caught off guard that it could not be helped. Immediately he struck back, but with abandon. His massive paws came forward, dragging canyons into Matthew's neck. The fight began. He felt the same attack returned, sharp daggers digging down all the way to his shoulders. Blood dripped from the both of them like rain. William sank his fangs into Matt's tawny shoulder, red lifeblood pouring onto his tongue. So this was the bloodlust he had heard of. It felt good. His mind spun, and his anger at Matthew for coming here, for getting to Tristan, for living, came forth. He released the hessian, who immediately went flying at him. He ducked and watched as Matthew went soaring over him. But when he turned to face him, he felt an attack from behind. Matthew had circled the moment he landed, and William had turned the wrong way to look for him. His hips went down, and he was pinned beneath the heavier bru.

Matt gave a ragged, crazed laugh, and lurched forward to tear at the back of his neck. "You stupid fool." He noticed with joy that William's head had hit the ground, and he was having a hard time keeping his eyes open. He spluttered dirt off of his tongue, trying to push himself up, but the difference in their weight was working against him now. Matt had the clear advantage, and a year's difference between them afforded much more training on his part than Will's. The massive dark drake grabbed the grey by his scruff, dragged him, and turned him over with a large mitt. He was almost unconcious. "You call yourself a warrior, Constantine? Your father would be ashamed of you." He took his front right paw and pressed down on William's throat, increasing little by little. His feeble squirms made him laugh even more. "Fight me. You want to be a warrior?" William did nothing. He spat on him. "Here. Here is your paralyzed doe." The insanity swimming in his head danced a death dance. He wanted so much to end this disgrace to his kind, to stamp him out like the last embers of a quenched fire. Matthew looked up at the alphen, grinning with bloodstained fangs. His deep, husky voice was heavily laced with malice. "Come on, Jack,"
His jade eyes flicked to William, the fear in the bru's brass optics making his stomach flutter with ecstasy. He returned to Jack, blood dripping down his pillars going unnoticed. He was so desensitized by the bloodlust, so used to fighting and being fought, that the pain did not phase him in the least. He goaded him on with relish, expression just screaming 'I dare you'. The smile grew. "Save him."

Red watched as the newcomers were talking to Jack. Khalon was busy standing guard to Calypso, so he positioned himself so that he was nearby to charge into action, but far enough for the others to not count him as an immediate threat, although his presence was still obvious.

When the two unfamiliar to him started to attack, his hackles raised and he growled, tensing up, but looked at Jack. At the slightest sign of approval, he'd attack. True, fighting wasn't his favorite thing, but he also despised fights in front of his eyes. But... he felt something brush past him...

Yana was sitting near Red, as he was more comfortable with the wolf who found him. When he noticed Jack's obvious disapproval and two others fighting, he looked at Jack's reaction. From what he could see, the unfavorable wolf was clearly had the upperhand of the other.

Not waiting for orders, he stepped forward a few steps, the trademark stare he thought he'd stopped using was nearly as cold and threatening as Matt's was crazed. He said loudly in an equally cold tone, "Back in my finer days, I'd let my friends to the... dirty work for me, but when even they fail... well, between you and me, let's just say they'd prefer my buddies." He flicked his tail before continuing, actually turning his head to face Jack and saying in a warmer voice, "I'm sure I, as a wolf of your pack, can represent the worth of his alpha. I apologize for acting rashly just now. I jsut reacted."

Ooc- Jack's table is being wacky

A snarl broke through Jack's lips as Matt attacked Lennox. Body tensed to lunge but he could not find a right angle and it was over so fast with Lennox half unconcious on the ground. Hues locked onto Matt and he stepped forward hackles raised. Aud flicked to hear his wolves responding, Yana voicing a threat. He dismissed the apology at the end and advanced towards Matt. "Stay out of this Yana, this fight is mine." He did not say it meanly, merely to indicate that he wished no harm come to his pack. "You think you are tough because you have beaten a child? (I am under the impression that Lennox is young, if I am wrong, just idk...ignore it. xD) I have faced larger and smarter wolves than you, filth." Again stepping forward. Talons unsheathed themselves and he lowered his body protecting his neck. "Come on then I'll show you how a real wolf fights." Then like a coil he sprung towards Matt, jaws gaping going to his face....

Ooc-Short but I wanted it out there. My computer is acting funny so I want to post as much as possible.

OOC: Haha Silent. Will is like... five.
--Hoist the Colors High [MB] - Page 5 Matthe10

Matt was more than glad to take on Jack. Oh the pride... He braced himself over William's limp form as the alphen came at him. Locking his pillars in place, he smiled with raw pleasure as the jaws came at him. They struck truely, gouching cuts into his face. At first he snarled, tearing a growl from his throat, but slowly, eerily, it became a terrible laugh. He was thrown back, but not before aiming a solid kick to William's chest. He was halfway down, skidding on his hip, before he stopped. His form rose slowly, pink tongue edging out from his mouth to lick the blood dripping down to his maw. A deep, red gash ran from above his eyebrow down to his jaw. A smile, still faintly stained with his cousin's blood, shone at Jack with insolent hatred. "No doubt you've taken on larger than me, Jack I mean, he he, look at you go." Matt's ragged voice and laughter taunted Jack, invited him to strike again. "Maybe I'm just a masochist," He began to stalk forward, crania lowered, ready to go for the throat, "But I'd like you to do it again. If you want to show me how a real wolf fights, I know you can do better than that."

Calypso

The prodding inside her womb had finally settled, as if the pups themselfs had to turn around poke and prod to get comfortable in mother's new position. She sighed and her dark lids began to grow heavy. She turned her gaze to Khalon and gave him a content smile. She knew Jack had bade him to watch her. She sighed heavliy in relief that the little bundles gave her a rest from the pokes and prods to her ribs and then she lay down her head. The summer sun began to soak into her ebony hide and the warmth felt luxurious. Soon her breathing slowed and deepened and she drifted off into the dream fields.

"It was sunny there too...warm and bright...delightful. She saw Jack smiling at her and he beckoned. She beamed a smile back and bounded forth, not being hindered by her rounded belly at all. They met and she nuzzled his fur, then Jack bounded away. She smiled and went to run for him but he was gone. She looked around the medow they had been standing in, the grass waved gently and the dragonflies zoomed on their course but no Jack. She at first thought it was all a game and bounded a few paces laughing. "Jack! Where are you?" Then the sky above her grew dark and grey clouds moved in. "Jack!" she yelled as the wind forced it's icy hands through her coat. Where was he? Then the thunder rolled and it sounded like a menancing snarl....."

Calypso woke with a start. Wide eyed and almost in a panic. Her gaze flooded the densite but she wouldn't have been able to see Jack from where she had been laying. Pulling herself to her feet she almost stumbled because she did it too quickly. The little lives inside her protested with movement. She took a sharp intake of breath and stood steadying herself, which only took a moment. In that short moment her auds pricked forward and she caught harsh words. Sky colored eyes widened and she quickly shot Khalon a look and half ran to where the noise was coming from. It didn't take her but a few heartbeats to get there when she came upon the scene.

The unknown male malice written all over his form was goading Jack. Blood was already upon his face so she knew Jack had made contact with the filth. She wanted to launch herself at the worthless cur and would have but the lives inside her stayed her paws. Anger flashed in them when she saw William's still form. She thought she still saw him breathing and that was hopeful but if he wasn't tended to soon he might perish. She came up behind Yana and Red. She looked at Red. Worry in her eyes. She had faith in Jack but if by some unforseen fluke that this green eyed devil would get him down she gave Red the silent command to intervene. Red at been around long enough to get the hint from her stare. She knew that Jack wouldn't need the help but her insinct to protect the unborn within her and her mate was overwhelming right now. She was torn. Wanting to run to Jack's aid and wanted to run out of the sight of this vile beast so he wouldn't know the precious cargo she carried in her. She backed away slowly. She didn't want to be a liability to Jack and moved her form back to Khal, which she knew that he would have followed her here. She positioned her body behind the young bru. Hoping to have her condition go un-noticed. She closed her eyes and nudged her soon to be son-in-law. "We have to get Liar. William is going to need her help." She looked back to Jack, his form so strong and savage right now. The alpha. One to be respected and feared. The stongest of the strong...but Calypso worried so much for him now.

Yana nodded as Jack commanded him down. He could slightly understand why Jack wouldn't let his wolves fight, but it wasn't something Yana himself would do. Still, he guessed he would be able to stay out of this one. He looked at Calypso from the corner of his eye, noting that the fight would probably take the interest of others in the pack soon. Whether it was a good thing or not, he wouldn't know.

Red saw Yana back down after a few words from Jack and looking at Calypso as she approached, clearly worried for her mate. He saw the message in them and nodded before she left, perhaps to get the healer ready to move in when it was safe. He wouldn't interfere with the fight unless something happened to Jack, which probably won't happen. His eyes narrowed, observing the fight and the movements of both wolves. He was still slightly tensed, ready to spring into action, deciding he'd fight with Yana if he needed to fulfill his orders.

Liar had wandered off. Not to far but it was enough of a distance she didn't hear the scuffle begin. She was wandering around alone and enjoying the sun. She looked up, as as the sun started to drift towards the ground it began to turn red. What had she heard when she was a pup. 'Red fall, blood fall, red rise, life taken'. Her mind drew a blank as to who told her that and she began to get frustrated. She laughed at herself lightly and looked back towards the pack area. Her auds were flicked forward. There were harsh noises, and she had sworn she heard a yelp. Was her mother in trouble, were the pups coming! She sprinted from her spot quickly and ran into the woods. She dodged branches and trees before coming to a sudden stop at her mother's side. She looked scared, and she was behind Khalon. "What's going on!" her voice was high and she looked from her mother to the direction her eyes were focused on.

Without a second thought dashed forward away from Khalon and her mother towards her other fear. Jack fighting. Her breath caught and she saw blood. She didn't know where it was coming from, all the wolves were covered in it. She looked at one wolf who was down, and the other who was fighting Jack, then her eyes landed on Jack. "Wait! Dad! Please!" She didn't run forward but she looked horror struck at the other wolves. "Do something! Why aren't you all helping him!?!" her pupils grew wide with worry and she looked back at the fight. "Stop! Please!" she took a few steps forward now and got closer. "Stop it!" she was yelling, she was scared, she was worried, and deep down inside her birth right blood began to boil.

It all came suddenly, the face, the familiar face, the scents, the smells. She couldn't steady herself where she stood and stepped back. "wait..." she whispered. "stop..." she felt her vision going blurry. Jack and the brute were fading in and out but a familiar old face kept popping up. She knew her, she loved her for some reason, and then there was the dark wolf. She had seen the outline of this face before but now it was so clear it was scary. She was a pup, and she was being brought there, and she was playing with Marcie...the other pup. And Tristan came...and...then Jack, and they ran, and she rolled.

The female wolf standing in the scene of the fight shook her head quickly and cleared the sudden knowledge of who she really was. Again the feelings of worry and fear came back, but they were pushed down by that odd sensation that she was relieved. She knew the brute who fought Jack, not by name, but my nature. 'I told you so...' was all the voice said, and Liar looked upon the two with a sudden anger "STOP!" she yelled again, and instead of standing there with a certain fear she stood there strong. "There is no reason for all of this, you're both acting like whelps!" she stomped her feet down and watched them. She didn't know if they would even listen, but this brute came and caused problems now that she suddenly hated him for. She wanted to kill him and get it over with. She wanted to cause someone else pain... Oh, how weird!...

--Hoist the Colors High [MB] - Page 5 Matthe10

He was so close, so ready to taste Jack's blood. But the distractions came... how wonderful. Still, as the pregnant form of Calypso and the urgent rush of her daughter came forth with the other wolves he had chosen to ignore earlier, he pulled himself from the attack. He passed by the alphen within a hair's breadth of his cheek, fangs still bared. His movements were slow, languid as he moved, relaxed now. "You got lucky, Jack. I'd have hated for your lover to see your blood spilled needlessly." His form immediately turned to Liar, her shouts catching in his ears. An evil grin took over his face as he stalked toward her. He moved, getting closer, closer, far too close.

His nose brushed agains her side, testing, as he circled her. Oh yes, he had heard about this child. Tristan had something to do with her, didn't he? Eh, who cared about him? Matthew gave her a tempted growl, speaking as he came to face her again. "No more than a whelp yourself," his devil's eyes looked the young fae up and down, searing fire eating up her form with a lecher's desire, "But oh so promising." His grin quickly turned to a scowl, form defensive. His hackles raised, tassel straight and flared like a bottle brush. "What is it you want, child? Protecting your daddy? Your mother and future kin?" His gaze turned on Calypso, a glint in them as if to ask You didn't really think I hadn't noticed, did you? A nod to Khalon, acknowleging his strong presence, and further ignorance toward Red and Yana. They didn't scare him any. He remembered William behind him. He backed up from Liar's space until he stood over he barely conscious bru, his flaming stare still taunting the femme.

"Is this what you want?" He violently grabbed Will by his scruff, tasting blood once more from the already open wound. A barely audible whimper was heard from the form as he dragged it. It only made him smile more. "Here." He practically tossed him at Liar's feet, then raised his head and licked at his bloody chops. "Now Jack..." Matthew closed his eyes, nares pointing to the ground as he braced himself before the others. A smirk came to his oddly taciturn face. The blood dripped onto begging dirt from the scores in his face. They whispered in his head. Bite. Tear. Kill. Yes. I know. I've done it before. The fire in his eyes retreated to his body, heating him with the brutality they knew him for back home. His optics bored into Liars as they suddenly snapped up and open. "Where were we?" Like an unpredictable snake, he turned silently with an almost unnatural swiftness, anxious for the strike he aimed at the alphen's neck. 'Open up for me, precious vein. Let me taste a king's blood tonight...'

Red watched as Liar appeared and the other wolf circling her, talking. He let thimself think briefly while making sure he was ready to jump in if anything were to happen to Liar. He felt really bad about her outburst earlier about why they weren't helping, but... perhaps they could explain it to her later- if she was in an understanding mood.

Then his calculating eyes noticed that some of them were being ignored. He almost laughed, knowing the doom of many who had been underestimated. Then again, he had other things to worry about now. He nudged Yana towards Liar and William. "Help Liar. I can handle this if it gets out of hand."

Yana almost sighed as Liar appeared, trying to tell off the intruder. He looked at the others for their reaction, wondering if she had been taught about the honors of another's wishes. Then again, that was her father fighting... He saw the wounded body of William being thrown towards Liar, and shortly afterwards, Red was directing him. He stared at the maned wolf and hissed, "The brainless wolf's ignoring me." "Deal with it. You shouldn't let what a brainless wolf's actions get to you," Red replied. Yana nodded, and moved towards Liar, stopping near her.

"Do you want to move him first?" He thought that may have been wiser. It probably would be safer for Liar to be moved further away, but perhaps still just within sight of the fight, just so she could be reassured that Jack was still alive. "I don't much about healing, but if you need to gather anything, I can hold down on the wounds," he said this while moving his paws over the larger wounds, gently, but firmly adding pressure while they spoke. Every second counted for wounds.

He paused, then tried to be more gentle, "I'm sure your father will be ok. As for why we aren't helping... We do want to, but it was Jack's wish. We have to respect his command as well as how he feels about protecting his pack... to a point. But that's only one alpha's command. See, Red looks ready to jump in if the tide turns to that wolf's favor. Jack won't get too seriously injured, especially since Calypso will probably just tell us to attack if that happened." He vaugly wondered if he said everything right... talking to younger wolves wasn't really his type of thing. Actually... talking wasn't really his thing at all. Fighting and ordering, though... but those were the two qualities he needed to supress.

((Haha, Yana's trying to be comforting...))

He had listened. And Liar was glad for the moment of spare time to think of this problem. He was close, too close, and she felt her paws extend while her daggers sunk into the earth. She didn't move but her hackles began to rise up slowly. Her lip around her maw lifted and white pearls shone brightly as he circled her touching her. She wondered what Khalon thought about this little show of... naughtyness this brute proclaimed alone with his title of raging attacker. As he went back and dragged Will towards her she felt her body relax and suddenly melt with sadness. The brute was limp...

Red told Yana to help, and then there was his voice but her eyes weren't taken off of the lifeless brute. Yana was pressing on the wounds and she looked up sharply as the brute locked his eyes on her before turning back to attack Jack. "Oh no. I get it very well. We proclaim ourselves light but yet instead of letting an attacker leave, we have to just persue a fight. Instead of out numbering him we let him fight one on one until this" her head dropped down to Will and she sighed. "Forget it, let Jack get what he deserves as a king for his own actions, I have my own to deal with. Pick him or drag him this way. He can't be near the alpha den, we have to go more south near the water anyways for the cleaning ability."

Liar turned away from the two hoping Yana could handle it himself, if not then someone else could help. She had to gather things. The female walked up to Khalon and shoved her head into his neck. She wanted to cry but she couldn't for some reason, a hidden anger prevented that. She pulled back and her eyes locked onto Calypso. "Sorry mom, I tried" she shook her head in shame, not for herself, but for the actions of the pack the pride of one wolf...it was all stupid. If she were alpha, she would have commanded all willing to defend the pack, it wasn't up to just one wolf...

Liar looked back at Khalon and gave him a weak smile. "We'll be by the water. Yana is helping me. I have to gather supplies, and quickly or Will...he'll..." She sighed and shook her head. "I don't understand it all. Guess I'm not as grown up as a hoped I was" she shrugged and walked past him. She had no jump in her step, no sway in her tail, she just walked into the brush bending to pick things up here and there. She grabbed mint, cotton, fungus. She kept walking till she got into the water. There had to be sponge in there. She dropped the fungus in the water and stepped on it. Nasty things came out of the sponge like substance, she then dropped the moss and swished it around cleaning off the green plant growth.

She reached down and picked back up the moss and fungi then turned back towards the shore and left the water. It felt good to have it pressed on her skin though, she would make a point to go back in. She smiled and got to the den. She laid the materials down on a piece of drift wood. She'd need to clean out the den first though of loose things. She crawled inside and began to dig. She rolled on her back and kicked the top of the dirt, scratching it away from the surface and making it a little bigger too. Will would beed to be able to lay out.

She pulled herself up and kicked dirt and sand from the den out into the entrance. Liar came back and dug the dirt from the entrance out onto the beach and she smiled with the new clean den. It was going to work perfectly. She smiled and turned waiting for Yana. She hoped he'd be able to bring him alone. She honestly didn't feel like being around many wolves. She struck a thought and she turned back towards the water. She'd need to get a mouthfull of water to spit on the wounds. Yana would have to also... She sighed, there weren't many herbs around she could use. She'd need the milk of a dadelion flower too. She sighed and looked around, there wasn't much... Liar looked back and forth along the trees and ground. Maybe Yana would know some too...

Calypso

She watched as her daughter entered the frey, screaming her protests. And caught the look of the intruder, her blue eyes narrowed and her ebony ruff stood on end. HOW DARE HE! She felt violated and threatened by his gaze but she turned her head up and glared at him with blazing eyes...proud and defiant. She would give the dark mongrel no power over her. She agreed with Liar's words, the young fem was right in a way. The pack could overpower this one loner easily but what Liar didn't realize was the duty of the alpha. Above all as a leader they protect their pack and she knew why Jack wanted to face this demon alone. She was sure he did was to protect the others from injury. She closed her eyes and shook her head. She saw both sides and agreed with both too. Liar's voice came to her ears and she nodded to her daughter and was about to step to her and give her an encouraging nudge when the young vix turned to her beau telling him where she was to be and left. Calypso sighed and stepped toward Khal. Leaning ever so close she whispered in his ear. "Stay close to Jack, but do not help unless he needs it. Keep Red close and I will go to help Liar with Will and send Yana back." She then nuzzled the young male's neck with a motherly affection. Then trotted off.

The sound of the fight made Calypso hurry her steps. She gave Red a quick glance and pointed her nose at Khal. If he had questions to ask he could ask him. She quickly caught up to Yana. "Yana help me, we need to get Will over to Liar, she went over by the water." She began to lift up on Will's limp body hoping Yana would shove his own body underneath and carry most of Will's weight. Calypso would do it if she had to but in her condition it made things extremely difficult. Hurry..her eyes said. For not only Will's sake but for Jack's too. She would aid Liar in healing and get herself away from the sounds of battle which made her chest tight with worry.

He did not understand why the brute did not even retaliate but he zoned out the words that he spoke to him. He didn't give a damn what this filth had to say to him all he wanted was him to get off his lands. His attention was snatched by the familiar prescence of Calypso, his heart almost stopped and though Khal was with her he felt himself overwhelmed by emotions. Go away! He wanted to shout, get away from the danger! Then to make it worse Liar arrived on scene, his gaze measured the distance between them and Matt, he was closer to them. He wanted to lunge and drive him from his family.

Then Matt stalked closer to Liar and he felt his fangs come to the surface even more than he thought possible. He was touching her and he could not help the snarl bubbling in his throat. He moved away from her and he felt little relief but at least for some reason he threw over Lennox. Hues locked on the sadistic hessian. He would not tolerate abuse to his family, whether it be verbal or physical. He would tear that damn hessian limb from-

A blur of of fur and Matt lunged for him and despite the lull of the apparent break in the fight, Jack was still wound like a spring and twisted his body to take the damage in his shoulder. He had to hand it to the brujo he was fast. The momentum of the attack knocked him down but in the red haze of battle he ripped his shoulder from the poisonous fangs and quickly gained his feet. Another snarl burst through his kissers. "I'll give you one more chance to get the hell off my land." He snapped as he stepped closer, blood oozing from the wound on his shoulder. It throbbed and for sure it would be sore later but with the adrenaline pumping through his veins he would not think on it. He would not be taken off guard again. The tresspass on his family was too much.

Khalon was sharply watching the meeting, and when Matthew lunged, he flinched at the savagry of the attack. It took every ounce of his self-control not to leap in and attack the bru, but to leave Calypso at a threatening time would definitally be a bad thing. Instead he just stood, prepared to move quickly if the need arose. A scuffle from behind alerted him to Calypso's movements, and he turned in alarm, expecting to find a second intruder. Instead, he found himself looking at a much closer Calypso, for she had risen and come towards him. Taking an automatic step back, he paused, reading her look. Obviously she was worried about Jack, but she shouldn't be moving about like this. Still preoccupied with the fight, though, he didn't register this fact in time to stop her from moving towards the disruption. It was unlikely that he could have stopped her, anyway.

He whirled just in time to see Jack leap at Matthew, for it was obvious that William was not going to be defending himself any longer. The bru was merely a heap, resting on the ground beside the writhing mass of fur that was Jack and Matt. Kal's lip lifted, and his muscles tensed, while his golden gaze took in exactly what was happening. Eyes flicked over as a third fourth shape entered the field, and then widened as he realized who it was. Cold fear shot through him as Liar began her attempt at stopping the fight. She shouldn't be there. She shouldn't be near this, the blood and the flashing fangs. She seemed unusually stressed, and this only served to make him even more anxious.

It was with relief that he watched the struggle slow, but it was soon ignited into murderous fury as the dark bru stepped near Liar. Khalon's muscles twitched, spasming and tightening as he fought to keep his control. Talons dug into the soil, and his eyes darkened. As the black pelt brushed against that of his beloved, he was fully capable of slaughter, then and there. A low, ripping snarl was released from his mouth, and the sound was fully alien to him, for never had he uttered such a call before. Even after the bru had moved away, Khalon's gaze followed him, and his fur refused to lie flat. He could see Liar's reaction, and this only served to fuel his fury. You'll pay heavily for that little dance. Heavily.

As Liar buried her face in his neck, a deep shame suddenly burst to life within his stomach. I should have leapt in. Damn Jack and his pride, and damn me and my honor. Damn it all! She was speaking, and he forced himself to focus, though as he did he also tried to read within her depths. Something was deeply bothering her, and he could almost visibly see the progress he had made within the last while slipping away. Fiercely abusing himself for his cowardice and unwillingness to overstep Jack, he tried to shrug it off as he smiled at Liar. He knew he had not succeeded. "Of course."

It was going to be all he said, but as she turned to go, he followed her motion. "Liar..... your wrong. The way you see yourself.. what you just did, you wouldn't have done, were you not as mature as an adult." This time his smile was more genuine, but there was a sorrow in his eyes also. She had done what he could not do. So bound by honor and the oath he had laid down to Jack when first arriving was he that mere words had prevented him from leaping to Jack, and later Liar's, side.

As she left Kal's eyes followed her, and so caught up was he that Calypso's following orders made him jump a bit. Shaking off the emotion which he knew would haunt him in the days to come, he looked at his Alphaess, misty expression clearing a bit. He knew that his emotions were plain to read at the moment, but it didn't matter. Calypso would understand. He nodded in affirmation. "Alright." He had the urge to add on a request, but supressed it. Please, make sure Liar is alright. No, he didn't need to ask. He knew that, impossible as it seemed, Calypso cared for the fem just as much as he. She would help.

Instead he turned to Red, waiting for the bru to join him, all the while watching Matt from the corner of his eye. There seemed to be a sort of pause over the entire affair. Quick as a snake, however, the situation changed, and Kal's head twisted as Matt leapt for the alpha's throat. He wouldn't get there in time. There was no way that he could help, even now.

Yana heard Liar's comment about her dad, and he had to wonder why he was frequently placed in situations where he wasn't the best wolf to do the job. He did have to change his mind about her, though. Liar wasn't mentally as young as her physical body, which he found a relief. Although, perhaps because of her experiences and upbringing, she had that tendancy to look at the situation in one way, as most wolves do, he had to admit. Himself sometimes, too, but he had eventually learned to try to think at all angles. Still, it would be a little hypocritical of him.

He noticed the young healer tell him to take the injured wolf to the water and from the corner of his eye saw her run off. Soon after, Calypso appeared and started to lift the wolf. He noticed quickly she shouldn't be straining much and quickly positioned himself to the ground to carry Will upon his back and he said, "I can carry him myself, if you don't mind. You worry about watching our backs, just in case." With that said, he stood up carefully with relative ease, his muscles flexing under the weight, but not straining. At least this will give him some release for his pent-up energy. Throughout all this, he made sure there would be minimal blood-loss.

With a nod that he was ready to move, Yana took off at a quick walk. At least, a pace that would be safe for himself and the one on his back. He commented as he moved, "I don't know much about the wolves here, but I think you made a good choice in your guardians. The younger one, Khalon, he's young, but he's got something to fight for. As for Red, I don't know about his fighting skills, but he definately has a well developed mind for the job. I think they will balance each other out and learn something from the other." He didn't quite understand why he was being so talkative. Perhaps it was instinct that some of the others would need something to listen to and focus on that wasn't just about the fight Jack was taking on at the moment.

When they reached the water, he noticed Liar already waiting- searching while waiting. "Where shall I put him?" he questioned.

Red was glad Yana listened to him well enough. Next thing he saw was a flurry of motion as Liar moved towards Khalon and Calypso then towards the forest. Then the alphess moved to him and motioned at him before she moved towards Yana.

He positioned himself next to Khalon and quietly muttered, "Are we to interfere if and only if the fight gets out of hand?" He watched the scene, eyes slightly narrowed. Though he was ready for action, Red held himself back. He needed to give Jack a chance to dodge before he intervened. He had to trust that their alpha could and would avoid the more serious injuries. Still, he didn't like the situation one bit. In his opinion, this was one kind of fight where he would ignore a single wolf's pride, escpecially after the attack- and threatening- of wolves who had no reason to be harrassed. He glanced at Khalon, wondering how he was dealing with this; more specifically, to what happened to Liar. Even if it wasn't an attack, if it made Red worry, the ones closer to her would probably downright angered.

Matthew felt himself momentarily flung back by Jack's moves. But he had what he desired. "Oh, it's too late for me to leave now. We're just in the middle of a fight. And I've got your blood in my mouth. There's no way you'll get me to leave now." He was just slightly impressed. The bru had the good sense to get his neck out of the way. Charcoal lids closed over his eyes and he inhaled deeply, tongue running over his fangs once more. He was enraptured by the bloodlust, and without a doubt royal blood was the best of all. Slowly they parted, revealing once more theemeralds that held so much contempt for the wolf he had just met. "You sound like an old man, Jack. Perhaps it's just your time." He began to circle. He had control over his lust. He could be patient until the right place came along. And soon it did.

With a hungry growl of a wolf on the hunt rather than on the attack, he pressed forward before initiating another leap. If he couldn't hit Jack in his neck, he was more than willing to take him down on his back. If he ducked, fine. There was a chance the alphen would turn the wrong way to look for him and he could take him down. If Jack managed to catch him on the right side, he'd be plenty close enough for a swift and precise strike to the neck once again. 'Get off the defensive, Jack. Fight me.'

Liar felt she could hear the fight still going. She paced back and forth thinking she needed to find something. With a deep breath she tried to calm herself. She was in need of healing Will and there was nothing that should be more important then that. Jack made his own choice... the pack chose to listen. Fools. Her mind traced over the images she had seen and she felt herself shudder. She was from darkness. And Jack had brought her here. If he lived, she'd have to thank him someday.

Her mind then went back to the fight. What if Jack fell enough the pack went in. Khalon would be there first, she knew it. And he'd get hurt. And she'd have to concentrate on him too, and Jack, and anyone else who got hurt enough that needed a healer. Again she took a deep breath. She had to calm down. Thankful to hear foot falls she turned to see Yana with Will on his back. Her mother was right behind him. Fat and pregnant. "Good, you shouldn't be near that either!" she felt herself slightly panic knowing Will had to go inside, and her mother had to be outside. She should dig another den for her, just for a shor-- no. She had to pay attention to Will.

"Inside the den. And then, will you go grab dandelion flowers. Alot. I need the milk. And if you see any, sap, sap is good too. Grab the bark, and let the sap leak onto the bark. Dig your nails really deep into the tree, and it'll seep out more yellowish and cleaner. Please?" She didn't really think it a question, more of a statement.

Yana nodded and carefully entered the den before lowering himself down once again. This time to carefully roll Will off his back, making sure as few wounds as possible touched the ground. Perhaps it would prevent infection for a bit longer. He wasn't a healer, he didn't know. With haste, while avoiding barreling anyone over, he exited, but paused before he asked, "Shall I find a fragrant flower of sorts if I pass one? You look like you need it... just to clear your mind a bit." This was Liar's first real test as a healer, so he figured she'd be fretting in some way. Perhaps not fretting, but certainly not as calm as an experienced healer would be. He happened to know of plants whose fragrance could soothe the mind, because the healers he used to work with had to give them to him all the time.

He said to Calypso, "I'll gather what she needs quickly while checking in on what's going on while I'm at it. I'm sure those two will be fine without me for the moment, though." Then, waiting just long enough for Liar's answer, he took off at a light jog which quickly turned into a swift run as many plants blurred past. Luckily, he could go by color, but most of what he saw was... green. By what Liar said, sap wasn't a major priority, so on the way back, he'd travel at a slower rate to search. He slowed down to a stop near a patch of dandelions. Granted, it wasn't a lot, but... every bit helped, and perhaps he'd find more later further ahead...

A snarl was all the response Matt was going to get from him as Jack countercircled the hessian, never leaving his back open. He knew he pack was not happy with his decision but he could not bear to see anymore of them get hurt. When Matt finally made a move to lunge at him, instead of dodging away or just taking the hit he too sprang forward at the brute, mouth agape ready to take flesh as surely as Matt was for his. They would collide and as he imagined be a rolling mass of fangs and claws....

Calypso

Calypso flicked her ebony ears back at the tone her daughter used and sighed heavily. She knew Liar was stressed and would let her chiding her like a youngster slide. She stepped close to her daughter and looked at her with loving eyes that were calm. "Liar..." she said softly and nudged her shoulder. "You can do this but you have to stay calm, you are our healer." She smiled at her daughter knowing that Liar's skill for healing would far surpase her own meager ones. She hid her worry. It was her duty as alphess and as a mother. She too was worried for Jack, Khalon, and the others. She then stepped clear as Yana brought Lennox (or is it Wil? That is what Matt called him) and placed him in the den that Liar had prepared. She listened as Liar gave orders and Yana reassured Calypso herself that he wouldn't be long getting back to the situation at hand. She nodded at the bru and watched him swiftly leave to get what "the doctor" had ordered.

"Liar." Calypso's voice came forth. "Whatever you need I am here to help. I am fully capable of running to find cobwebs and the like....so use me." That was an order not a request. She knew that Liar would baby her because she was pregnant. That is just what everyone was supposed to do but when lives are at stake it was totally irrational to Calypso.

OOC// Forgive me Lord, for I have skimmed.

kill your idols

Gnashing wicked mongrel jaws, hungry breath brazen and hot, wild eyes shining bloodshot mania, terrible, luscious, he ravenously circled, arching, wide shoulders rolling, his fiery blood seething red fever, sharp, vulgar grin ragged with razorblade malice and salacious torment. Flaring nostrils breathed a viciously sweet tobacco sin, his murderous cruelty smoldering a vile desperation in the throbbing blackness of the twisted thieving night, the sweltering, smoky air curling delicious cockatrice tongues as it slithered among the infernal spill of the bloody huntress moon. Savage jungles pelts bristling blazing, hellish fury, gunslinger swagger rippling feral appeal and bold, lethal arrogance - Laike wolfishly licked his dark, grinning lips, whiskey tongue grinding ravenously against the barren, glinting hunger of his sharp teeth. Burning tyrant rage and brooding bloody malice, raw and devilishly sensual in the scorching heat of the infernal midnight brawl, he watched. Heatedly provoking, harshly tempting, searing, bloody claws tearing at the graven earth in a fierce, provocative prowl of masculine defiance and ferocious growling authority, predator musk sweating malevolence from his lusting animal lurk. Rugged skins brushing brazenly, they boldly paced the rough stifling smother, feasting on tension, gorging on bloodlust, their wild, criminal vehemence crackling wickedly between them. Make a fucking move, you son-of-a-bitch. Slashing forward, rippling voracious intrigue and mongrel hunger, he rushed in a powerful advance, pounding hellion feet slamming the dusty ground, kicking up a haze of whiplash gun smoke. Teasing the trigger, goading the fire, the golden bastard menace sneered proud contempt, lolling devil’s tongue flickering fierce impatience, his piercing, sultry stare met Jack’s burning browns in a carnal flash of malevolent, smirking anarchy. Frothing mouth tearing wide in a starving, cannibal snarl of deadly brutality, he was cruelly seized, hungrily snared, throbbing limbs of shuddering rage hugging his strained, muscled throat in an unforgiving grind within Matthew’s jaws. Warring bodies tore recklessly at hot, mangled flesh and panting air, razors flashing, restless hearts pounding cruel rage. Clawing ruthless savagery, roaring bloody warmonger tyranny, Laike’s writhing body was thrown into the crush of the callous earth, slammed and bloodied, heaving ribs bruised, senses jarred, labored breath of sweet exhilaration seething in smoky blows from the sultry curve of his torn lips. Bare bones snapping brashly into place, rolling joints fixed with a carnal shiver into rugged sockets, he rose, rearing his head with a snarling, reptilian hiss, the oncoming slash of his brother’s searing fangs burning in his peripheral with a fiery madness.

Ripping to one side in a wild roll of malicious thunder and lunatic rage, electric eyes rolling demonically in his rugged skull, he slammed Matt’s snarling face away with a savage swipe, swiftly climbing to his bleeding feet with a terrifying cry of animal ferocity and aching brutal revenge. Pacing the fiery tension, target locked, blood boiling, a ruthless, snarling grin of blazing fury fixed to his filthy face with an almost insane curl. His thirsty, frothing tongue ran the devilish length of his sensual lips, an edge to his masculine rage, his heathen stare, a spiraling violence lingering in the icy blue of his burning eyes. Hungrily eyeing the swarthy bastard with a scathing disdain, he coiled, rolling spine rigid with the raw intensity, throbbing muscles taut and tight, golden tail lashing at his sleek, glistening flanks with venomous hostility. Raw vigor and panting savage lust taunted his animal temper to a dangerous extreme, an intoxicating thrill. Watching, waiting, razors bared, ragged hackles high, blood brazenly singing conquer, lips tasting the drunken pleasures of devour, war and carnage. Shuddering with the feral urge to madly fuck, cruelly kill, low hips swinging down in a devilish prowling stalk, glowering, rippling, mocking. Wolfish, smiling mouth dripped deliciously in dark crimson delirium, his blazing stare burning hot, wicked passion into the torn, delirious snarl of Matt and the king’s vicious fury, their challenge reeling, a killer’s malice blind to anything but his own selfish craving. His curling tongue was roguishly slathered in a grotesque mix of blood, sweat and filth, hot, rugged breath searing the air as a low, haughty growl of brutal masculine wrath thundered in the hollow of his pounding torso. Launching forward, ruthless and raging, heart pounding a festering war drum slam, his lean, rippling limbs rolled in wild predator chase. Seething a masculine force, he sprang powerfully, back paws kicking up a violent spray of earth as he attempted to seize his opponent’s heaving chest in a brutal, savage embrace, claws ripping wide in an effort to dig and tear unmercifully into sharp shoulder-blades, gaping jaws knifing for the rugged meat of his brother’s neck as he sought to rip him backwards, head over heels, into the pound of the mangled ground; crushing his lungs, splintering his limbs in only the most dramatic of ways. Teeth tearing fiercely at his flashing eyes, Laike’s starved brutality raged a primal intoxication, a maddening euphoria of bloodlust and fury pounding wicked arousal through his wild, thrashing malice. “That fucking hurt, asshole. Wonderful work. Congratulations, you’re in. Now get out.” Hissing, snarling, warm breath on the curve of the instigator’s ear, Laike whispered hauntingly, talons shifting over the joints of the writhing, beautifully savage actor so that he could depart harmlessly, if not sorely with pride and ego intact.

OOC// That was terrible. Basically, Laike lurked and watched, then stepped in between Jack and Matthew to take Matthew’s attack on Jack. Little skirmish, Laike pins Matthew? Since this was previously planned I wasn’t sure of the character control is alright. I tried to keep it clean, but Moohn PM me if there is any problem!

So Jack was smart enough to dodge him? Just as well, he shouldn't have judged. Matthew was more than ready to take the hit. His masochism was screaming for the pain, but instead he was shocked back by something far more thrilling. A skin and bones form flying at him. He had smelled someone else close by but couldn't quite place it at first. He had waved it away with some scent he had encountered on the way to his skirmish. Now he knew. Vicious daggers seized his shoulders, hot breath pushed almost sensually into his ear. Oh, this attitude was a welcome and familiar one. At first his massive paws pushed against the ribcage, feeling more than one between them, and gave up. There was no point to fighting this bru. The words hit his eardrums. 'Why, how very offensive,' He mused. As if language mattered to him. He bit once at the hessian's neck as he gazed up, devil's eyes meeting with the same gaze he dished out. His fangs departed, and it was all he could do to lick the intruder's cheek. "Well well, my lover has come to save me from the midst of battle," He mocked darkly, "Now get off me, Laike. It wouldn't have hurt so damn much if you didn't intercept something that wasn't meant for you." His back claws lashed out at Laike's abdomen, pushing himself from beneath the hellion's grasp.

He was quickly on his feet, and his piercing stare left one to catch the other. He smiled with poisoned malice at Jack. "Well it seems as though we're finished here," His voice did not match his face, far too gentlemanly for a wolf like him, especially after what had just happened. He acted as though nothing had happened, but licked the crimson liquid from his face, relishing the sting that came from dirt and saliva that pressed into his wound. Matt began to turn. "So you get what you wanted. I got what I wanted. Just a little test for my own sake." He winked. "Thank you Jack." His body pivoted, leaving a tawny plume to face the alphen. He looked to his newly arrived companion. "Shall we? I'm dearly excited to find out exactly what it is I've made it in to. And we'd best be going. This stiff will have his whole pack on us in another moment."

Liar looked after Yana as he went to fetch what she needed and then return. She sighed as he left trying to find her ground to work on the wolf who now lay in the den. "You're right" she said softly. Allowing herself to think more clearly again. Then Calypso said she would help. "Then you will help me. Get alot of water in your mouth, or if you know of any other way to carry and pour the water then tell me, cause we have to wash off these wounds with something before I apply anything for the infection."

She nodded and took one look at the wolf before turning away towards the water. She walked over and stuck her maw in the water. She filled up her mouth as much as she could before walking back and dumping the water on his showable wounds. As she attended to each would with water having gone back and forth she looked at Calypso. "Cobwebs. We need them. But let me dab these on there before I search too. Now go find some" she smiled towards her. Feeling alot better to have her mother there. "I have to touch them and hurt him before he wakes up too much more." she walked over to her moss laying on the log, she picked up a sponge like moss and the seaweed. She then walked back and chewed the moss.

She wanted to gag, it tasted so bad. It was hard to think now with this nasty taste in her mouth. She sighed and the smell made it even worse. She gagged and bent her head down leaving chunks of the chewed moss on wounds. She took the sea weed next and began to chew it while she nosed the mashed moss on the wounds. It would burn for a few days, she knew that, but there was nothing she could do about that. She then grabbed him on the cleanest part of skin and dragged him from the den.

He wasn't too heavy cause the dirt let him slide easier. She moved him out towards the sun. "Now cob webs" she walked into the woods. They wouldn't have to look far, spiders built their webs around the water where the flies always hung out. They were either eaten by fish, or they were eaten by spiders...if they were lucky, they lived. It was like real life with her. The deer were only so lucky by how strong they were. She grabbed away the thickest webs she could find and brought them back, smearing them along the wounds. She then laid the sea weed ontop of them to make a thick paste like glue when it dried.

"Wake up before I do the next side, that's where the worst is. She looked him over, there were many wounds that were small that she didn't attend to. But he wouldn't be in too much danger from those. She had mostly gotten the deep ones along his sides and neck. She would have to roll him over to do the next side but not yet. She'd have to get the dandelions from Yana first. They would need the milk in this bru's mouth.

Calypso

Calypso tipped her dial at her daughter's words. Liar had seemed to calm herself and recollect. Calypso padded over to the water and then took a mouthful before dutifully taking it back to Lennox and spitting it into a wound to clean it. It was very efficient but it would do. Calypso remembered her mother in that moment. She had been a healer and had taught Calypso the basic skills. The one thing she had was a shell, it made carrying water easier. It didn't hold alot, about four or five mouthfuls, but it did save some time. Calypso vowed she would find something of the like for her daughter. Liar's voice came to her black thorns once again, she gave her daughter a smiled. "I will return quickly with the cobwebs and see if I cannot find you some dandilions as well." She then nosed Liar's cheek with pride and trotted off, looking much like a watermelon with legs.

She found some near the water's edge. She broke the branch they were growing on. It was a thick tangle, probably of one of those spiders that ate minnows too. She hoped the owner abandoned ship when she picked up the web. She turned and hurried back, glimpsing a small patch of yellow as she rushed. She set the web down on a rock. "Here Liar. I think I saw some Dandilion's." And she turned and trotted back. The task at hand was being most helpful in keeping her mind off of Jack. It was so hard to resist the urge to be fighting by his side but the movement within would stay her paws. Blue eyes found what she was looking for. It wasn't much. Two whole flowers but every little bit helped. She dug at the base to pull the whole plant, not wanting to break the stem and loose some of the precious milk. She felt a pain her her side and stopped catching her breath, but it went away quickly. Nothing to worry just a pregnancy pain. She picked up the flower and walked quickly back to Liar. Hoping Yana was already there with more dandilion.

Yana trotted back towards the den, looking pleased, yet annoyed at the same time. He held a decent bundle of dandelions carefully by their stems on one side of his mouth, and a long piece of bark in the other, sap somehow still clinging onto the wood instead of dripping on the ground. He placed them near Will and said, "It's not much, but... Oh. Calypso, Liar, I have news about the fight."

He finished gathering the dandelion, but the surrounding trees weren't the kinds to have sap. Instead of heading straight back, he took a detour, since he'd told them he'd check up on the fight. Hidden from sight thanks to the tree shadows and bushes, he watched as another wolf- one he did not know- enter the fray. Surprisingly both foreign wolves seemed to know each other. Yana's ears tilted forward to listen better without having to move. He heard the name Laike, but, naturally, it didn't ring a bell.

Then, he turned around, knowing that information gathering wasn't important, nor was it his job. At the moment, he had to get these plants to Liar and assist any other way, since the situation was clearly handled by now. Halfway back, though, he noticed a bit of sap on a tree. Approaching, he sniffed it once just to be sure, and did what Liar told him. After digging the sap out and letting it ooze onto the bark, he looked at his nails in disdain, as he never liked getting anything sticky on them. Still, he reminded himself it was for the pack.

"Jack is fine. They were jumping towards each other, but another wolf I didn't identify jumped between. Both wolves seemed to know each other, though, and I heard the name Laike, if it means anything to you. Then our unwelcomed attacker said something about being finished. I left to return here, though, but I assume they are gone, or just about to leave by now." He looked between them, awaiting more orders.

"Aye, those are the orders," and a load of sh.i.t if ever I heard one. Khalon flexed his claws angrily into the soil, eyes furiously following the tangle of fur that was Jack and Matt. He wanted to leap in, to tear the pelt off the wolf who had dared touch Liar, who had pressed his filthy pelt against her purity. Who might have ruined everything. He was barely aware that his canines were showing, an automatic reaction from the rage that still roiled within him. Never had he killed another wolf, and never had he wanted to so badly.

The leap that Matt had taken for Jack, had been interrupted, luckily, and now a third party had joined. Kal did not like the familiarity with which the two hellions met, and it made his eyes narrow in even further suspicion. His muscles tensed as they spoke, and his sharp ears caught the words and tone that were passed. At Matt's suggestion, Kal voiced a vicious growl, taking a step forward, ears laid back flat against his skull. "I think that's a wise move." His eyes were focused on Matt. Normally not one to be so easily angered, once one had earned his wrath, it was plain that the situation could not be reversed. Murder was still written upon those flashing orbs.

He cared not what Jack would do to him for speaking up. He had let things go too far already, and because of his obedience to Jack, Liar had been hurt. Not physically, but no less painfully. He almost hoped the bru would attack him. Then he would have his excuse to truly show what he thought.

I dare you...... his gaze plainly read, and even his pose showed his eagerness. Perhaps he would be smart, walk away like he said was his intention. Khalon sincerely hoped not. His blood was boiling, and he knew the only way to make it stop was a good long fight.

Kiandra, Keanu, & Khalon

ooc: short XP but you get the point. I never knew Khalon had rage issues o.o...... not sure I'm likin this side of him, but meh! he'll get over it n.n
