Auds perked at the arising howls, a calling of victory. A hunt, she assumed. Then came a different calling, directed towards her. Apocalypse rose, and began to move forward. The white vixen smiled briefly as she slipped through the foliage, following the howl that rang in her ears. Her form shook slightly, and that smile returned. The touch of fall was near, promising a coming winter. The thought of being in her preferred season, made her smile briefly. Once more she would be in her element. Though FnI was were she began life, the absence was expected to be for good. Other lands promised much, and one kept her for a long time. Ever winter, far to the north. She very well could’ve lived there for the rest of her days, but the calling of home hit her. Once more, she returned to the place she had long ago called home. Sapphire orbs pierced through the foliage, as she moved forward. It wasn’t long before she reached an opening, and scents were strong. Once more she gazed about, spotting a few wolves. Easily picking out the black demon as the alpha, and she smirked slightly. Even if she held no scent, the white that shone from her would be clear against the color around.

Pressing forward, sapphires rested on the trio. A white vixen, and a tawny one, along with the pitch male. Orbs flashed, reflecting over their posture. Some thing was happening, but it didn’t bother her. Whatever it was that concerned them had nothing to do with her, which was just as good. Apocalypse doubted her presence could inflict such concern, so her white frame moved forward once more. Though she traveled only a short distance, and sat patiently. Sapphires looking over the trio, before gazing about once more. Apocalypse learned not to rush things, and so waiting for the alpha wasn’t a problem.

Blade nodded as Crow said he wanted to deal with her. He wasn't about to stop one of his pack mates from getting revenge. Although, he didn't remember seeing him ever snap at his bird friend like that. Turning back, he decided to take both elk to where the other kill was taken. He looked around for more wolves, just in case, then back at the elk. It probably would be smarter to drag one a short distance then drag the other and back to the first again, as he had been thinking just moments ago. It would take just about the same amount of time, and he still had energy to spare, so it was no big issue.

Although, he'd miss what would happen, which could have potentially have been interesting to watch... Still, he had to wonder, after that attack to her throat, would this thief be able to talk comfortably any time soon? Normally, he wouldn't really like to see such things happen, but... she had no right to just waltz in to pilfer some meat. Putting that thought aside, he started to drag one of the two remaining elk away, keeping a careful watch on the other while paying attention to where he was going.

Damean watched as Akiko spoke, his eyes were trained on her maw and he watched as the words came out. She had a point. Midnight...they were a lighter pack, this was all strange. He nodded slowly and then looked at Jaded as she came up. He nudged her softly on the chin, a sign of great respect amongst alphas and then his maw parted and he spoke. "Legend claims that Midnight attacked him. That Exodus...and some bru by the name of Rodion gave him so many cuts and bruises along his body. And then Link broke his leg. Jaded, I need to go to the pack. Now is time for you to take Alphaness lead here. You're in charge. I'm trusting our home to you, we all are, I know you can do it"

His head came over and licked her maw softly tasting the blood of their kills. It was then he brought a smile to his maw. "And you choose where we will store the extra meat, just save me some." He winked at her then turned to the pack that assembled with the kills. "Feast, on anything you wish. There is plenty for everyone, and plenty to store for winter." He nodded, not caring who ate what and where. Just eat, the pack had to eat, it had been so long. Damean then let his eyes wander to the new femme.

"Akiko, if you travel to your sister, tell her I'll be along shortly. I suggest you eat before going. And Jaded, I wont be gone long. Less then three nights pass. I promise, no longer." He licked her maw and smiled. "I love you, now shall we?" he nodded towards the new fem. "I don't want to deal with Legend right now, not till after I speak to Midnight..." he sighed and gave a nod of his head before turning back towards the new female. "I'd welcome you, but you've stepped into trying time of the pack, with that-" his head jerked towards the body of his beaten son "-but it'll pass. I'm Damean Jager, alpha male, and this is Jaded alphaness of these lands I've dubbed Jabbar Junayd" He nodded and then pulled himself up straighter.

The hair along the back of his neck rose, then along his spine. If Akiko was watching, if anyone was watching they'd think he'd seen a bear and prepared to defend the pack. No sound came from him, but he stood stalk still. "Speak with her" the statement was directed towards the both of them, Jaded and the new fem to speak with eachother. His body turned and he caught the words of Crow before his eyes locked on to the fem that lay on the ground. "What...is...going...ON HERE!" His last words rose and he stalked over with his teeth bared.

His first mind thought was Lilith. He would kill her right then and there, or even Jaded could. Anyone could if they wanted. Then there was that one mark on her face that Lilith didn't have, a greyish tones muzzle and he sucked in his breath. "Where is she?" He spat, coming down and glaring at her. "Crow, is there anyone else?" He looked at the brute with a strange eye. Then his head snapped to Eris. "A scout, around the lands. You go along the East. Crow, go along the West, meet back up together on the north and then come here. Sprint it. Repost back immediently. Then you can feast." Damean looked down at the female and she was shaking her head. "Wait...nevermind. Don't scout, if she's here. She'll come to us, and the pack can pass judgement. Tell me Crow...Blade. Petra. Akiko... Do you all remember Depression..." His lips curled and he snarled in her face.

"You dare try to steal food from my lands, after you aided Lilith in spreading the pups around... after aiding in her ability to leave the pack... You're lucky you're not her. I have a feeling my mate wouldn't give her a friendly welcome..." His eyes shot over to Jaded and he looked at her softly before looking back at Depression. She had her eyes closed and her breathing was slow. "Crow. I think you've given her a death sentence. Leave her here to die for all I care. Or finish her off yourself. Blade, watch her. Don't let her leave. I have something I need to do" Damean turned towards Akiko and nodded. "May you have swift paws there and returned. I may see you in Muerta" then his head shifted to Jaded and his heart clenched.

He walked over and nudged her away from the new female. He pulled her over to the side and began to whisper in her ear. "I love you Jaded. Though it feels strained from you. I have a feeling there is something you're not telling me, and when I return you get my full attention before any other matter. I promise. Take care of the pack while I'm gone, and I will return shortly. Beware of Legend. I'm not sure of his intentions...something, as Akiko said, seems slightly off." Damean rubbed his head along her neck and cheek, trying to force his loving emotions onto her. "And as for Depression. It's Lilith sister, friend, close companion...do as you please" he winked at her, a devious smile slipped onto his maw and he licked her once more.

His body turned and his eyes landed on Blade. "Come with me" he said swiftly. And he looked at the pack. "Listen to your leader. She'll guide the pack. We go through troubled times, but we are Jabbar...we make it through hell and back with fire and still thrive with the darkness." His parting words were enough, they were an order and a word of encouragement. Then he left. Blade could say goodbye to Petra, he would be back shortly though. Very shortly. He would repost directly to Jaded, and then aid in anything he could. But for now, he aided Damean...for the king had no idea what was to come.

Ooc:|| Akka. We go to Midnight. =D DRAMA LLAMA! Blade and Damean. Yesh Yesh.

Jaded~

His touch under her chin was suprising and it made her heart race. She kept her demenor calm and her twin thorns came forward to catch Damean's voice. The news was a bit shocking and it came quickly but she listened closely. She nodded at Damean's words, about him leaving again, and then was taken aback by him telling her it was time for her to become alphess. She never had aimed for the position, all she wanted was Damean's love. She never thought she would gain the title of Alphess as well. She licked her lips and when he kissed her maw she returned it. "I will do the best I can Damean. I love you." she said softly. He left her in full command and she was slightly nervous but would do anything for her love.

His voice then turned to Akiko and Jaded tried not to listen. She knew the pups that he had with Akira were innocent and before their love blossomed but it still made her jealous of Akira. She then turned her attention back to her beloved as he addressed her once more. She stepped closer and nodded turning with him to the fem that had been stealing. Then Jaded looked about quickly to see what had upset Damean so quickly. Her hackles rose automatically waiting to see an enemy charge forth, but all she saw was the beaten bedraggled fem that lay at Crow's feet. She took Damean's command to speak with the new comer. "Greetings." she smiled and sat but postioned herself where she could watch Damean. "As Damean said my name is Jaded. What is your calling miss and what are your intentions?" she said polietly.

One of her tawny auds flicked in Damean's direction as he yelled at the fallen female. It would have caught anyone's attention. She then watched as he commanded and scorned the fallen fem. Then she heard the name Lilith and her heart grew angry. This was one of her familiars, it had to be the way Damean acted. Her beloved came closer and she followed his nudges away from the new fem. His words were welcomed and she could see why he felt astranged from her...for she felt the same and wondered if he had changed his mind. She felt the love in his caress and vowed never to doubt him again. She nuged him softly under the chin and then buried her head in his neck. "I love you too Damean. Swift paws my love." She listened to his lyrics informing her of Legend and Lilith's sister. If that fem is here and is Lilith's closest companion then Lilith may be lurking. Her heart clentched. She would kill that fem if she ever saw her, for doing what she did to Damean. She watched the Dark King run out and giving his words of encouragement. She tipped her dial and let out a soprano howl wishing swift paws, safe journey, and love.

When her song ended she looked to Petra and paused to the newcomer. "Help yourself to some meat. I will be with you shortly." She said and then called to Petra. "Petra, we need your abilities hurry please." She trotted over to Legend and inspected his wound. Damean told her to be wary of his words but how could Legend lie to her? She hoped he wouldn't. "Legend, are you okay?" she asked with worry creasing her brow.

Crow knew Damean's almost scary joy wouldn't last. He could see it even in the way he greeted the new fae who had arrived. He called his own son that. Such a pronoun used on a life was harsher on the soul than from the mouth. It almost made him flinch. And then the explosion came. He had been right about the tension in the air. He had taken a step back when the king questioned the happenings around their lands. His frame was braced, ready to sprint at the request given, but he couldn't even begin. He settled back, and heard the words uttered from the rabid mouth. Oh, this was not good. Did he remember Depression? Yes, he recalled the name, though a brief and hardly humane encounter it was, a glance at one another, then nothing. He offered a solemn nod to the question, and then the next demand came.

No, he was too worked up now to let this go quietly. He looked on as Damean addressed the pack, called to Blade, and departed. There was something serious here, something he feared he was praying to Fenris had not happened. If what he could smell was right, if Damean came back with the answer he didn't want to hear, he would be tempted to kill Legend himself. But first this ragged piece in the dirt. It seemed something of an honor to get to kill this wench. And of all to be commanded to kill... out of Akiko and all the others. Something about this brought him some sort of sick satisfaction, a deep and dark pride. Theft, what he knew so well, was ultimately one of the most punishable things in this world. It did not just account for worldly goods or food, but life, love could also be stolen. Glancing around after the alphen left, he turned his new prey's face over with large, ghastly paw. Such a shame a pretty face had to be put to waste. An even bigger shame for this to be massacred by one wolf. With a poised and eerily silent determination, his jaws came down as they had so recently before and tore into the soft flesh. Fresh blood stained his maw, adding on to that of the hunt, and the soft spray of the vein hit his face, flecking the white with crimson. He would not be washing it away any time soon. All would know of his dark deed, and she would die slowly. Unless others cared to join. Damean had sort of given him free reign of Depression's life. The lifeblood seeped into the dirt, tinged the edge of his mitts so as he walked away he left wine-like stains in his wake.

He turned to the pack, raising his voice so they could hear. "Anyone else remember Depression? If you have any personal quarrels with her, she lays waiting for you. I must warn you, her time is short if you wish to still take her alive." The hessian had no fear of public speaking. and no shame in speaking to them as if he knew them all personally. He had done his dirty work. They could have her if they wanted her, or leave her if they could care less. Regardless of their decisions, her life was forfeit. A look of contempt, malice was on his face as he stalked away, bloodstained and vicious. He had to wonder what Damean was up to, and only knew that he had headed toward Midnight Meadows. He flicked his ear, knowing that Legend had come from there. Legend... he had to speak with him. Unabashedly he moved to the crippled drake, looking quite fearful. But he smiled. He was willing to give this young one a single shot. His dial dipped once more to Jaded, giving her respectful acknowledgement before turning back on Legend. He looked him up and down, sitting on his haunches as though nothing had happened. His voice dripped with sarcasm, still friendly unless things took a different turn. "You look terrible. To slow to get away from pures?" The stench on him was strange, and he really hoped that things weren't true, though the outlook was bleak. He held back on his anger, feigning innocent friendship.

Legend heard his father speak, and greet, and confront, and then state he was leaving. Legend's heart pounded and he looked at Jaded with pleading eyes. He knew that when Damean came back...or Blade, with the news... He would be in trouble beyond trouble. He swallowed back the fear of his father and kept his green eyes on Jaded. "I'll be fine. The bleeding has mostly stopped but my leg hurts. I just fear infection from Rodion's teeth produced these wounds. And Exodus...she was so...ravage" he sighed and shook his head. "I wish I had gotten away" he said, letting his eyes land of Crow.

"Nope, wasn't fast enough, but I laid my mark there on the others as much as I could" He smirked, knowing what he ment. Could he tell Crow, and trust him with this information of his rpae? It would be great if he could find a friend in Crow, but he kept his mouth shut about the actions he made. Thorns snapped upwards at a broken voice and he looked over at Depression. "I remember her... why did you attack he?" his voice was harsh and he looked at Crow. "She was just hungry..." he growled and pushed himself up. His whine broke out and he limped as slowly as he could over towards Depression. "Why did you try and steal, why couldn't you just...ask? You're like an aunt to me, and where is my mother?" He growled slightly as she looked at him. The blood was pooling around her neck. "You're going to die now... you're a fool" He sighed and sat down slowly next to her.

"Is she doing okay?" he asked, watching as she nodded to him, then he bent down asking a question, and she nodded again. So his mother was here, in FNI...he wanted to find her, talk to her, ask what her deal was. "Do you want something to eat?" he asked, but she shook her head. "You're right, a last meal was pointless now huh... Well. Crow did a number on you in a fast time, you're such a fool..." he sighed and looked back at Crow... guess he didn't need to be trusted, but it was a natural reaction, because she had attacked first... it had to be that way.

Jaded~

She met Legends green eyes with her old emeralds. He had bravado to his voice and her ears tipped forward when he callled Exodus ravage. That wasn't like his sister. Jaded knew for a fact that Exodus would have to be provoked to hurt her brother...like before. She turned and looked for Petra when Legend started addressing Crow but then turned back to catch his smirk. She cocked her head in wonder and then she watched in dismay that Legend got up to go to the theif. "Legend you need to re..." she stopped as she heard his words to the one named Depression. He was asking for his mother. Her heart ached, even though he wasn't of her loins he had been like a son to her. He had even called her mother, to hear him call for another hurt her. Lilith...that bi.tch. Jaded thought. That whore didn't deserve anything she had. Damean or her whelps that she abandoned. Hurt Jaded turned away not wanting Legend to see the hurt in her eyes.

She walked back over to the kills, they needed to be attended to and quickly before they drew bigger predators...like cougars or the like. She knew just where to bury them. An outcropping of rocks. Not too far away. They could dig a den and shove the meat in there. It would stay cool and not spoil, plus would protect from predators. She walked over to Eris and was in ear shot of Rawbones. "Eris would you please take Rawbones to the outcropping over there." she motioned with her nose. "That is where our winter cache will be. We will have to dig under the stone It will keep nicely there. I will be along shortly with the newcomer to help." She tipped her dial and trotted off to where the new fem stood. "I apologize. You have come at a busy time. Now, would you tell me your name and why you have come to Jabbar?"

The ghost listened intently and offered up a smile to Legend when he claimed to have left his mark. Young sarcasm... But his mood changed, and he found himself being growled at. Well, this certainly was something. He watched as the brat stalked away to the dying form. What an insolent little shit. Crow was not at all happy about the situation, but he wouldn't bother with him any more. Such a fool didn't deserve much attention. Let him ruin his leg. If all went well he would be speaking a little more closely with the dead soon enough. What a whiner. 'She was just hungry...' Well, she could have asked.

But soon he found he couldn't hold himself back as Legend offered a look back at him. His opinion of the stricken prince was swiftly changing, and he wasn't about to tack back anything else he decided on. It was too much indecision in a time like this. The death dealer moved forward swiftly, silently, stopping just behind Legend's ear. No more time for games. His voice was nothing more than a whisper, haunting the fur at the back of his aud. "Yes Legend. Her blood is on my face. And it was delicious. I regret nothing, and I only did what I was told. Now stop pretending to hate me and go lay down." There was an ominous smile in his voice, just darkng him to turn and strike. He did as he was told... but he was no brainless sheep to follow his shepherd to the slaughtering table. "Don't want to get your leg stuck that way now, do you?"

Looking at his face to gauge his response she hoped that he would not take her doubts too harshly. After all Midnight was a pure pack. Jaded came over but she looked to Damean for him to explain it. She would not move in matters where it concerned her not. Allowing Damean to regail the tale she remained silent noticing how often Damean doted his words upon Jaded. Surely he had changed a great deal. She was pleased that he decided to visit Midnight before making any rash actions first.
Akiko briefly noted the fem but passed her gaze over to the newest distraction Crow had brought for them. It seemed that this day was trying to test how mad Damean would get until his body combusted. Eyes flicked to the heap of a wolf at Crow's feet. Her mouth fell open slightly, that was Depression...Lillith's sister. But where...why? The world has gone mad...she thought to herself. Watching as the dark king assulated his past mates sister with words she smirked when he passed a death sentence on her. Serves her right for what she and her bitch sister did.
Now he turned to her and gave her a blessing of a fast trip and she dipped her crown. Then he was off to Midnight. Hopefully answers awaited him there. Eyes falling back to Depression and she stepped over to the fem and her lip curled back in disgust. Why was she so stupid to even try and steel food from them? Though her protruding ribcage was something of an indicator.
Now Legend was stalking over and she took a step back while he flung questions at his aunt. It truly was none of her cocern when it came to this sort of stuff but she frowned when he threw some jabs at Crow. He heard Crow's teasing before and wondered what was between them that they acted like that.
A look came over Crow's features and he became darker. A look that was not so uncommon among them. Though she did not hear what was passed to Legend's ear she doubted it was anything good. A snarl shot from her throat. "Enough!" She snapped. "Legend go lay down and Crow, finish what you have started then go help Eris and Rawbones." She did not mean to add on to Jaded's orders but pack drama was the last thing they needed. Besides it had been a long time since there was a higher ranking female in the pack and she was still adjusting.

Spinning on her heel she looked over at Jaded and from where she was standing she called. "I go now to Muerta, I leave the pack in capable mitts." A compliment for though Jaded had her weak moments she was a strong fem. With that the white wolfess faded into the forest, an untouchable etheral substance on the wind...

Always on the fringes of the pack for she had no desire to play at the center. Watching the events unfold around her, hues danced along the other wolves. Pawns in a great story set down by Fenrir and by his will she would set in path her own tale but time and patience were needed. She knew not of the past lives of these so the she wolf dragged in by Crow meant little to her. Watching Legend painfully limp over to her a smirk of satisfaction curled her lips though she looked away into the forest to conceal it. Serves the arrogant brat right...she thought with venom.

Tassle flicked and her slate became blank once more. Jaded commanded her and Rawbones to dig...o joy. Rising to her feet she stretched out and looked at Rawbones. "Shall we?" She inclined her crown towards their destination and trotted towards it. While a caw sounded from the air as a falcon trailed after her on slate gray wings.

.where the yellow brick road took a different turn. [Main Bo - Page 9 Rawbones

Rawbones smirked as much praise was thrown his way, from both Damean and Jaded. He felt it necessary to continue impressing anyone he could, so they would see that he wasn't getting that old yet (even though he really was). He was especially pleased to hear good words from Jaded, perhaps because she was Damean's mate, but perhaps also because she had at first seemed rather unfond of him. He did not want to be disliked by anyone important, for that could affect his life within the pack. Licking blood from his lips, he left the moose carcass where it had fallen, knowing it was much too heavy a duty to drag back without any help. Instead he focused on helping his packmembers dragging back their kills.

Suddenly, what seemed out of nowhere, some foolish femme blundered right into Crow, knocking him off his paws and setting to work trying to thieve from their catch. She was quickly stopped however, and he knew punishment was going to be severe, ending in the forfeit of her life. It was only when her name was mentioned that Rawbones remembered her face, for she'd been with the pack for the short time that Lillith had also been there. His lips peeled back, and he watched as Crow sunk his teeth into her neck. A low growl issued from his throat, ears flicking back as his neck began to tense as it often did when he witnessed violence and anger. It was over so quickly however, that he did not go into one of his spasms, for which he was glad this time.

Saying nothing as commands were issued, he merely perked up as his name was spoken; silver pools flicked to Jaded, who had ordered he and Eris to begin digging to store their caches. He sighed, feeling his old muscles aching, but he would do as he was told. At least he had gotten some meat into his body, so his energy would rapidly increase. The old wolf nodded to Eris and followed after her. He wasted not time in getting started, digging his claws into the earth and tearing it up. Soon he had a small dip going, and before long he could put his paws in and shovel out large hills of dirt.

Petra helped in dragging back the elk carcasses, but was utterly shocked when Crow was suddenly attack, and her usually upright tail went between her legs. Who was this stranger, and why did she think she could just come in and attack their pack members and steal their prey? Ears back, she gave a timid snarl, watching as her love was the first to retaliate against the foolish femora, before Crow stepped up to exact his revenge. She watched as the dark-hued femme was dragged off to their leader's feet, where her sentence was given - death. Petra couldn't help but to feel it was a little harsh, judging by the fae's poor condition, but she could understand the pack's want to rid their territory of anything that reminded them of Lillith. Still, she had to look away as Crow made his move to attack.

It was then that Legend returned, dragging his own hide across the ground - wounds covered his form, his leg was completely out of place and he looked totally battered. What on earth could have happened to him? Forgetting the scene where Crow and Depression were, she ran over to Legend. Next thing she knew, Jaded was asking for her assistance, but she was already there. Something had to be done quickly. However, it seemed that Legend was not ready to sit still just yet, and was marching over to the gruesome scene she'd just left behind. She sighed, rolling her leafy green eyes. Finally Akiko gave a loud command, setting order to what was happening. When Legend was still, she went over to him, sniffing at him vigorously. He smelled of Midnight Meadows, but of Cinder in particular, as well as Exodusè blood staining his pelt.

Chills ran through her as she wondered at what Legend had done, or what had been done to him, but somehow she just couldnèt see her gentle friend bringing any harm to him, nor his own sister. And she knew that Cinder was fondly in love with Link; it could not have been a coupling... not one with any mutual consent, anyways. Suddenly her hackles rose, and she gave Legend a critical look - had his story been true, or was he the actual cause of his own painÉ She didnèt have time to think about it for now, so she merely said, ÈStay right there, Ièm going to get some things so I can start working on you,È she spoke quickly, and set off to gather the things she needed.

Knowing well where everything was, it was not long before she returned bundled in cobwebs, two long, straight sticks, marigold, horsetail, bullrush stalks and lots of thick marsh grasses. Perhaps later she would pick up some poppyseed, if she thought he deserved it. She set it all down when she was near Legend again, and immediately began working on his leg, for the sooner it was set and stabilized, the sooner it would begin to heal properly. ÈHold still,È she commanded; it was not the first time sheèd needed to set a bone, and she knew how painful it would be. Using her mouth and paws, she moved the leg bones and set them into place. Then she grabbed her supplies and began to produce the splint that would hold his leg in place until it had healed. At last the sticks, supportive stalks and the grasses were tied in place, and she gave an approving nod. ÈYouèll need to stay off of it as much as you can,È she told him from the view of a healer.

Then she began tending to his wounds, gentle despite her suspicions about what had happened to her friend. She just wasnèt the vengeful sort, and couldnèt bring herself to cause Legend more harm even though he was probably worthy of it all. Sighing she finished up with the last of his wounds, disinfecting them all and leaving on a poultice of marigold which would continue to relieve infection. ÈWell, youère all done, Legend,È she said quietly, not knowing what else to say to him. She wanted to yell, to throw accusations at him, but it simply was not in her nature, so she kept quiet, awaiting word from Damean or Blade, whom had both gone to seek the truth from Midnight themselves.

Ooc - Zomg I'm so far behind, sorry guys! If I missed anything/ignored someone in my post please yell at me right away! Oh, and I donèt know whatès wrong with my keyboard.... all those ès are supposed to be punctuation like apostrophies and quotes.... lame XD

((I feel kinda behind... Looks like everyone was on in the middle of the day.hahaha))

Blade had settled down a bit when Damean started to take command again. He coudln't help but smirk, feeling this was very familiar. It was comfortable having their alpha around again, even if he still felt a bit of curiosity as to what had happened while he was gone. He barely remembered the wolf in question, remembering it had been a long time since he heard of the name Depression. As ordered soon after, he kept a careful eye on the one upon the ground, soon to die if things went as many of them predicted.

His guard duty wasn't for long, though, as Damean soon turned back to him, requesting for him to follow. Nodding, he looked towards Petra, knowing he'd have a few seconds. She had just finished healing Legend, so he quickly ran over to her and said, "I guess more events have unfolded to separate us once more. I'll see you soon, though; I promise to come home as quickly as possible." He gently tapped his nose against hers, and left, on the way to Midnight.

((Imagine a slight time skip just for the distance between my last post and this one. ^_^))

Blade was still running as he entered back into Jabbar Junayd, his home. He made sure to veer his course into the lands so he'd be running so that he'd meet Akiko head on. As her scent got much stronger, he slowed down, noticing he had just caught her. So far, he'd been able to obey Damean's instructions. Now to make sure he could with the rest.

When Akiko came into view, he skidded to a complete halt, and said as almost without loss of breath, "Damean has an urgent report and orders for you and Jaded." Without waiting for an answer, he told her, making sure his voice wouldn't rise loud enough for anyone to hear if they should be sneaking around, "Legend lies. He is not to be allowed any food. Legend took Cinder away from the Midnight pack and raped her. Rodion injured Legend, Link broke his leg. This information is to be kept between Damean, you, Jaded, and me. No one else; there is to be a story made up for the rest of the pack- to be made by you and Jaded."

He titled his head, and added, "He was incredibly angered with Legend, so I doubt we should do anything to make him any more comfortable than he is now." He shifted his legs, as if to head towards Jaded to pull her aside from her duties to tell her the story, too. Still, he waited for Akiko, in case she had questions or intrustion for him after Jaded was notified.

Damean coursed his way through the lands. His made through Black Pearl like a ninja, and into his own territory. They hoped he would smell his scent, and that they would wonder why the dark lord himself would go through their lands at such a hostile pace. He hoped they would come to see, he hoped they would come on his lands. The dark king himself had a quite important but strange announcment to the lands of Fire and Ice. Some wouldn't like it, though some would. There would be wolves and not even alpha's that would want his hide for this, and then his thoughts trailed to Akira. What would she think. As if it mattered... His plans to seek the whelps he spawned was shot down, he had something more important to deal with.

He came so fast. His body was moving like a snake and he made it very clear where his target was. As his blue orbs found Legend a nasty snarl erupted from his maw and he ran over to him, his left paw rose and he smashed the wolf's face on the ground. He put more and more pressure, the wolf yelped and yelped and he felt the scared gaze of Depression on him. He looked over and growled at her, his maw went over and snapped in her face and she backed off quickly, scooting with what little strength she had left. Damean left her in the back of his mind and his eyes landed on the muzzle of Legend.

"You're either the biggest coward ever or you're trying to prove something all wrong" Damean pressed harder, sliding his paw down and stepping on Legend's maw till he heard a snap. Blood began to pour from his once son's maw and he chuckled before he stepped off the scum and walked in circles around him. "You say nothing because you know I've found out. I've found out about your little games played in Midnight. And to CINDER! of all females. She had safety here, and you took her own viginity in her OWN HOME!" Again his paw came and struck the brute on the face, blood poured over his face and he growled reaching down and taking an ear, ripping it till the sonofabiznatch began to scream and yelp in pain. He ripped it off and spat it on his own face and another nasty chuckle ripped through the air.

"I believe your life is over. You're no longer allowed within these lands, and let's explain to the pack why...oh...you don't want me to? Well you have no rights here anymore" He growled and stepped on the ribs of Legend and stood there, making sure the brute didn't move an inch. His eyes found every wolf and then they landed on Jaded. She would hear what this scum did... And she just saw Damean at his worse. Oh well. Accept him for who and what he did or get out.
Damean rose himself up and spoke outloud. His voice was projected amongst his pack and he spoke loud enough that Rawbones and Eris would hear him, even if they didn't want to. Everyone would hear him.

"Do you see this wolf. Not even a wolf, he's a pile of shit. He's a a worthless being who shouldn't be allowed to even walk amongst the living. Tell me...has anyone here ever been, or ever gotten to know a wolfess victim of rape? Well, if you did, have you ever met the one responsible of it? Well, feast your eyes on this" His paw moved off the ribs and Damean kicked him square in the gut to where he buckled over gasping for air. "Does anyone feel any pity for him? If you do, hold your tongue and leave. This is something I will NOT tolerate amongst my wolves. We are a single pack, and yet this brute has taken it upon himself to raise the fear of Midnight and cast his spawn in one of their own without her permission." He growled and began to circle around Legend again.

"Let Cinder be the name of our victim. Let Legend be the one who caused her pain. I don't care who's dark and who's light with this matter. I don't care what was of Jabbar and Midnight. There are new times. And Petra, you have the right to cross from boarder to boarder. Their new alpha Alexander Rodion Belikov and I have come to terms with a sort of alliance. There will be no attacks on Midnight, and no attacks on Jabbar. We are dark, they are light, and this is how it's going to be. I don't care if some of you dissagree with this treaty, if you have a problem speak up. I am not Shadow. I am not going to abandon this pack in a time of need and leave you to defend for yourselves. I have my own plans, and if you choose to be apart of them, then stand behind me. If you choose to go against my changes in the lands of Fire and Ice then stand before me and state your words." He was done with the games. He was adressing the pack as a whole. His pack moved as one, it was not one alpha and subjects of his pack, it was an alpha and his body. His pack was the whole body of this land...

"What say you?" he asked, his voice was projected amongst the pack, and he waited to see who would say what, step where, speak about Legend. He wanted to know whatever was going through the body of the pack...

.where the yellow brick road took a different turn. [Main Bo - Page 9 Crow10

The icy bru was barely able to warrant a response from Legend before Akiko was on him. He had to remember that not all darks were as long fused as he. She snapped at the both of them, gave her orders and left. He growled in discontent after her parting. Oh how he would have loved someone to taunt, if just for a little while. No matter, he would do as he was bidden. Really, he was quite disposable when it came down to it, and he wouldn't give others the satisfaction of just tossing him aside. Before he too disappeared, he left behind parting words. "My job is finished as far as I'm concerned. Let her bleed out. Perhaps she'll nourish the cursed ground she lays on and be of better use than she was alive."

Crow's trail led him to where Rawbones and Eris worked, and after a silent and rather grave approach his own paws were set to the task. He gave them a spare glance in greeting, but meant nothing overly friendly by it. Large mitts dug furiously, releasing the tension he had stored in him over Legend's previous actions. Earth flew between his legs in a concentrated spray, and bit by bit he hole grew deeper. He had gotten about three feet down, digging like a demon in the time he had allotted for his own command. Deadly drums pounded into the earth, sending clods of notes every way backwards. A pause, before turning so the space would be long enough. It was much shorter going, as the depth was already taken care of. The spray flew perpendicular and away from where the other two were. Minutes passed, and the deed was done. He looked up, nodded, and walked away, panting. This was no show, no testament to his strength or skill, merely an outlet for his recent flow of anger. His tassel swung behind him limply as he walked, the blood on his pads now clotted with dirt. As he left he recalled that the blood still splattered on his visage. He must have seemed quite the gravedigger.

Crow had left at an opportune time. He panted heavily from his work and arrived on Damean's scene as Legend's face snapped beneath the tyrant's paw. The words he loathed and yet longed to hear reached his pricked thorns. At the mention of rape, that innocent fae, Legend's vile deed... so that was the stench on him. Somehow he knew it... in his heart of hearts. And this suddenly made Legend no better than those back home... those who took his lover and her life. She was no different than Cinder. His face was a snarl, though he barely noticed. Beneath his fur burned with heat, and his brass coins began to tinge red with rage. "SCUM! Maggot-ridden beast!" He no longer held back what he felt. Every hair stood on end, and it was by some miracle that he didn't attack. He stepped forward slowly, measured paces, as though his legs were taught steel ropes. He stopped before his king, snarl lowering, but ferocity still intact. "The alliance with Midnight is a good one. But I care not for any of that now. I lost my mate to scum like Legend, her fate only one action worse than Cinder's. She would have borne pups like she must were it not for her death. He deserves nothing more than to come to the same ruinous end..." He looked past Damean when he spoke to the broken form behind him, each word stabbing like a newly sharpened blade, "Slow... Painful... death." His reproachful stare faded on the alphen as he stepped back. "I have said my piece. Let someone else speak." With his finish, the bird landed beside him, close, as though it knew exactly how he spoke, and what of. But it made no sound. They both lapsed into heartache and silence.

Jaded~

Akiko's harsh words came to her auds reinforcing her command to the others. She knew she had only done it to make everyone obey, not to ursurp Jaded's new found authority. She smiled a thanks at Akiko's praise and watched as the white vix dissapeared like a ghost. She sighed and looked back to Legend still with his true mother's consort. Jaded felt scorned by whom she felt was her own child. She shrugged the feeling off and looked to the new fem. Whom she didn't even know her name. Then like he emerged from the shadows of hell Damean was there and upon Legend.

She turned quickly and froze. Damean was the Dark King through and through then. He wasn't one of the minons of hell, he was satan himself. The rage that coursed through him was evident and his words that had poured from his maw rang truth, Legend must have done this. Jaded stood and watched, anger and hurt flooded her. How could he? Why? Jaded was sure any number of fems would have thrown their tails up at him just for a tryst! He did it of his own pleasures. She didn't think Cinder would have gone willingly. Jaded then heard the sickening crack of bone and she felt her stomach churn. She knew that Legend deserved what he got, rape was the ultimate crime...even among dark wolven. More words and the black deamon who was her love ripped the ear from her adopted son. It hurt to see, she could understand why Damean did it but it still cut part of her.

She caught the Dark Lord's icy blue gaze and her head came up and her's never wavered. She might not agree with the actions taken for she loved Legend like a son but she couldn't speak a word against Damean for Legend brought it upon himself. She turned as Crow lashed out his poison. Rape was just not tolerated and dissapointment clouded Jaded's emeralds. She stepped closer to Damean and Legend's falled form. She looked down upon her adopted son who just recently seemed to forget he called her mother. "Legend." she said calmly and softly. "I cannot fathom how you thought that rape of all things was acceptable. In doing this act you have condemed yourself and their is nothing I can do to help you...no one can help you." She closed her eyes and sighed trying to keep her anger in check. "How DARE you! How would you like it if someone did that to your sister or to me? Or to a fem that you loved? The pain you are in now is nothing..nothing ..compared to what you have caused Cinder" Jaded wanted to cry. She wanted to cry for Cinder and her pain, she wanted to cry for Legend and beg Damean to stop but this was the king's justice and there would be no stopping it. "Legend, I loved you like my own child." Dissapointment and grief struck her and she looked at Damean.

"I mourn the death of our son." She said stepping forward to place one last kiss on Legend's brow and then turned to Damean kissing his cheek as well. She met his eyes hoping he would understand her words and know that she was with him on this. Turning she padded off not able to watch the end if Damean decided to do it then and there. She came to where Eris and Rawbones was and lowered her bodice into the hole to dig her sorrows away.

Legend was about to faint. He had a broken jaw, or it was just the teeth that broke from his mouth becuase he spit them out. Then there was his ear, and it was torn off. A sadistic smile crossed his features as his father kicked him and he buckled with pain. It hurt so bad, but he wasn't going to give into this. Then came the words. His father alligned with the pures. Crow voted he be a dead man, slow and painfully. His mother...No, she wasn't his mother. His voice broke out and he watched as Damean looked down at him with a nasty look. "I'm not your child... and I would have raped you too if you wern't so weak and would have gone into season. Only the strongest survive, and I will survive through my young" His words were harsh, and he felt the fangs of his father seep into his shoulder and drag him. He was brought over by the water and dropped in. He had to fend for himself now, and he tried to get his head over the water, breaking for air and he gasped. He pulled himself to the shallow part and laid there.

Damean was discusted. He wanted to end his life, but Link had a point. "Crow and Link have a point. A slow, painful death sounds lovely doesn't it." Damean reached down and stepped on Legend's face, letting him suck in water, choking as he did so. Damean let a smile cross his features and he looked down as the brute dragged on for breath. Blue orbs danced and danced with excitment, with rage, and even with happiness.

He lifted his paw and stepped back. Legend gasped and choked on his air. "Get out, and never return, come back, and you'll be faced with more then just death, tourture will be sweet" His eyes casted towards Crow, and he nodded. He wanted him to run Legend off. A brutal run out. He growled and turned towards Legend. "If you even make it that far, the both of you" He was standing infront of Depression and he growled at her. She stood and ran over towards Legend, she helped him stand and they didn't even look back. Damean looked back at Crow and nodded. "Let it be done. Don't kill him, but wound him to where you know he wont survive forever" He smirked, knowing full well Crow would make it a show through the lands until the two of them reached the boarder. "Come back when they've passed the line. We have meat to store and things to speak of" he nodded to Crow and walked past coming over to where Rawbones, Eris, and Jaded stood... "Jaded, let's speak"

He turned and headed off a ways to the hill, and he waited. He wanted her to just let whatever it was out...with today, things were getting a bit trying...

Jaded~

Legend's words had come harshly to her tawny thorns. "I'm not your child... and I would have raped you too if you wern't so weak and would have gone into season. Only the strongest survive, and I will survive through my young" His words cut her like a knife. She dug deeper and faster to drown out the noise of Damean throwing his son into the water. Jaded prayed that Cinder didn't get pregnant. Those pups would be delt a rough hand in life, especially if Legend came into the picture. He wasn't the loving son he used to be. Jaded wondered what had happened to make him thus. She didn't understand. Dirt gave way under her claws and she tore into the soil taking out her frustrations on it. She couldn't believe he would say that to her...but he was right. He was not her child. She still felt a maternal bond for him but he was not her child. She kept repeting that in her mind. He is not my son...her heart told a different story.

Then a voice came. Damena called to her. She pulled herself out of the hole and shook the sand from her pelt. Emerald gaze saw him sitting on the hill and her pillars took her body to him. She came up and buried her head on his neck, pressing her love into his black hide. He was all she really had now. Legend was gone, Exodus in a new life. She sat and curled her tail round her paws. ""I am here my love and I am glad you are home so quickly. What is it you wish to speak of?" Jaded asked knowing that Legend would be part of the conversation more than likely.

Damean's orders were sweet music to his ears. The poison ran through his veins once more, the adrenaline of the hunt coming back to him as though he had stored up energy for years over this one moment. Finally, FINALLY he would find the revenge he sought. True it wasn't the same ones he hated, but this was equal. Instead of him getting run out, it was them. He would make it the most painful run of their lives, sprinting until their last ragged, painful breath. He could see it now, Depression's blood spilling as she ran, Legend limping like a wounded fawn. And the way Damean just turned away from it all so coolly made his chest soar with admiring joy over his king. He didn't bother to utter thanks. It could wait. With a demon's smile he turned slowly to the two condemned, huddling so pathetically close, and stalked forward. Crow's voice issued forth a hiss equal to the steams of hell, and he was sure Legend had heard the command more than once in his life. "You heard him, scum, start running!"

He snapped at Legend's heels, starting the chase, and did the same to Depression. She was of less concern to him, but it didn't mean he would lighten up on her punishment either. An ethereal snarl left his lips, and he ran, rather slowly for his own pace, behind them and to make things better, the bird followed, like a shadow of death, and it came down periodically to peck at their heads viciously. At one point he saw it come back up with a small clump of fur. From whom he cared not. At one point he got close behind Depression, sank his fangs into her hip as they ran, and feinted away, as though he was never there. Here was a wonderful test of his skills when they were at their best: to scare the hell out of others. After his small attack on the femme, he got behind Legend, so close that his chest pushed against his rear, forcing him to move faster. "How does it feel, friend?! To have impending doom at your backside? Danger you can't escape?" His ivories tore into the lower end of Legend's spine, and for a moment he arched up, just to grab the scruff and rip him backwards. "Just like this. Is this how you took her Legend?! You coward!" He had not missed the words spat at Jaded, either, and they only spurred him on more.

He barked at them through the chase, ran around to their front where he skidded to a halt, rear slightly up in an almost playful bow. But this was much more than a game. The ghost's face was a crazed one, his bloody grin worse than a cheshire cat's. "Now where do you go? Cornered?" He disappeared again, only to go around the back and come up at Depression's side. "Guess not. Keep moving! You've got a while until the border." He snarled and drove them on. "Move you feckless cattle!" He hoped the others followed and watched. He would drive them the long way, to the lone lands, where they could die in isolation and draught. He would do as Damean said, not kill them, but scar them just enough... and that was all he needed. It was better to know they would suffer and remember than to kill them and relieve them of their struggles. He smiled darkly at the harlot. "You don't look dead enough to me yet. You need some more scars." With a growl and a lunge, he took a bite at Depression's foreleg. He aimed to break it between his powerful teeth. And all the while the bird flew, pecking all the while to enforce his new found rule over them. "Move!" He snapped, sergean-like in his authority. "I am your god now," He whispered vehemently, though he smiled with glee as they ran. He was the decider of their fate now. Such an honor had been put in his possession, and he unabashedly felt that he was well deserved of such. 'This is for you, Shelley... And this is for me.'

Petra looked up from where she stood at Legend's side, to see the dark King return with words she had hoped not to be true. So he had dared to hurt her good friend, just as she'd suspected. Dispicable. And he spat hateful words at poor Jaded, who had done nothing but love him like a son since her love for Damean had bloomed. She gave him a fiery look, one that had never appeared within her soft, gentle eyes before; a look made just for him. Then Damean was upon his ex-son, and doing hefty damage to his body. A waste of precious healing materials, but she had already known it would go this way. As the commotion set forth, Petra watched intently, listening to every word Damean spoke. About their new alliance with Midnight, how she was welcome across their borders, and his orders for Legend and Depression. She watched as Crow was given the command to chase them off, and she dug at the ground restlessly. She needed a piece of him.

She took off after the two cowards that now ran, seeing Crow's fleeting white tail in the distance. He was torturing them, hideously angry but almost giddy with their fear as he forced them onward. She came up beside him, knowing full well he did not need her help, but she wanted a piece of Legend too, for Cinder was a dear friend of hers. As Crow continued to push them on, she came up beside Legend, and gave him a rugged shove to his shoulder; in his weakened state, even he should fall to her strength. If not, she hoped that Crow would assist her. "Get him down!" she barked, not meaning to sound commanding, "I want to make him bleed for what he's done!" Depression was little concern to her, and it seemed that Crow was more intent on the mistreatment of Legend too. Besides, Depression would not get far, for she would likely die soon.

OOC:: Fixed for Kippy.

I'm a man of my CONVICTIONS--

And there she was. The black deamoness that was his mate walked up to him with as much grace as a ghost and she stood before him speaking softly as if nothing were wrong. "I don't know what to do" he said softly, nudging her softly in the neck. "I feel as if I'm making a big mistake, as if I'm loosing my mind. But...history is in the past, and I just want to move forward, and yet, here you are, and it feels as if you are lagging behind me, not quite there. Granted I've been absent for a while. But I'm here...have I lost you?" Damean let his blue orbs land on her, and he stared at her with a stern but loving gaze.

Can it be that there was too much between them now that there was nothing left. His mind wandered back to when she had first joined his pack in Muerta, how she spoke of his song he sang, and they weren't even in his lands. Oh...time passes so quickly. His mind trailed to Exodus, and when she was younger, and then Legend, when he was so intune with Akiko. When he wanted to be apart of the pack, and now... A shameful look crossed his features and he looked down at the ground. "Don't think of what Legend said. Don't take it to heart...something worse then a darkness has taken his mind. Whatever it is, it'll be the death of him" He shrugged and straightened up. "He's a lost cause. As much as it pains any wolf to say that of real child, or adopted, it's true. Don't dwell on him. Exodus is still a child of ours, though she isn't here" He sighed, wondering what she would thing if he were to ask about their own whelps.

Damean wanted to have his own whelps. He wanted to have them with Jaded. He wanted things to be somewhat normal. A small chuckle rose to this throat and he looked at Jaded with an appologetic smile. He couldn't quite explain why it was so funny that the life he chose, was so messed up. That the choices he made were so bizarre and weird that it made his life a living hell. Yet, the excitment of it all made for a good rest at the end of the day...

His father must hate him. A smile deep inside forced it's way outside as Crow hearded himself and Depression along. There was more pain on his body from this brute and Legend growled but didn't snap at him. He was too smart for that. Crow would kill him right on the spot if he did that. Green eyes looked at Depression and he sighed. She looked so scared. Legend nosed her with compassion and she looked at him with fear. "I wont hurt you" he said softly, and he heard the coming words of Petra. She wanted a piece too. He wanted it done and over with, and so he turned. "Run!" he screamed at Depression.

She looked like a deer in the way of headlights. He growled and snapped at her leg and she jumped out of the way. "Run you idiot!" he growled and watched her sprint as fast as her malnurished body would allow her to. He felt his green gaze lock on the coming Petra. "No more...not from you too" he limped as fast as he could. "He said only to the boarder!" He limped and limped, going faster and faster as he gained balance and fear in his gut. He was afraid of them, all of them, mostly his father, but he wouldn't show it. He could smell the boarder, and his body pushed harder. He passed it and didn't look back. Eyes narrowed as he spied Depression, she waited farther out of the boarder. "Lone lands. Let's go, we'll find some rougue pack there...somewhere" Legend leaned on her as she came up to him letting herself assist him in walking. "Thank you" he said softly.

The green orbs turned with his head and he looked back at Crow. "I'll remember you for this. I'll remember both of you..." He growled and snarled at them as he and Depression dissapeared into the forest. One day they'd be back...if they both made it alive... He highly doubted it, but he hoped one day they would get to take a piece of these two, of them all...specially Damean...

Just as she was about to pass the borders a form heading for her caught her view and though she did not stop right away she was forced to when he skidded to a halt in fron of her. It was Blade, he had gone with Damean earlier. She wondered what he was doing back...unless something happened to Damean. She felt her gut clench at the thought. But then relief swept over her as Blade told her that orders were issued. Her lip flicked up and she snarled as the truth poured out of the hessian's maw. Damn. She was afraid that this was going to happen. Nodding to Blade she turned and was right on his heels as they headed back towards the pack.
Her mind roiled with the thoughts that plauged them. Why Legend? Why would he bring this upon himself? Surely he was happy growing up here. Growling in discontentment she felt a growing anger in her belly. She was no pure pal but something of this nature was unacceptable. Especially when Damean sought peave between the packs.
It was too late though for when they got to the pack Damean had already arrived, flying on the wings of time. She watched with cold eyes as he snapped and snarled at his son. His words enflamed her and oddly enough made her want to take a snap at the insolent boy. Such a foolish thing to do and now he got what he deserved. She would not participate in his abuse but she did follow silent in the shadows watching as he was chased by the other pack members. She stood 'pon a rock at the border, her eyes casted upon the two fleeing forms.
She did not know if Legend knew her present but she did not care. Her heart had grown cold towards the boy and she felt shame for what he had done. She wondered what the feeling towards the pack now was. Surely Midnight would launch some sort of assualt or demand retribution. Akiko snorted at the idea of compensating something for a pure pack.
Sighing she bowed her crown and turned and silenty stalked away. Her trip to Muerta would have to wait. She was shaken by the recent events. Legend had been something of a favored to her and now this occured. Bodice lay down in the hollow of a tree, mind whirling with thoughts.

Her eyes closed at his words. He thought he had lost her when in her chaotic mind she had thought she lost him. His attention had seemed back and forth, like a moth drawn to a flame but afraid of the fire. She had felt she was loosing him. Her eyes closed and she took a deep breath and met his loving gaze when her emeralds reopened. She listened to his lyrics and his comments about Legend, telling her to ignore the filth that had spewed from his mouth. When he had finished she moved closer to him and looked into his cold sapphires.

Softly she began speaking laying it on the line, she was tired of wondering and games. "I thought I had lost you. I thought when you left the first time you had foresaken me. But you returned and I was overjoyed but something seemed different. I felt as if you wanted me but yet you didn't." She paused laying her head on his shoulder. "I didn't know what to do." She looked up again. "Damean Jager. I love you. I have loved you for so long and when you told me you loved me too it was like a dream and I have been afraid. Afraid to wake the dreamer and have it all dissapear. I am with you my love and I hope you can see that."

She kissed his mouth softly and love was in her eyes, unhidden pouring fourth with fierceness. She rubbed her head along his neck and then pulled away. "I am very dissapointed about Legend. It's so unexpected and I still can't believe it. It's like a bad dream. I can't believe he actually said those things to me...but it doesn't suprise me if his mind is in that way. He was asking Depression of Lilith when you came. I would think he wouldn't want anything to do with her since she abandoned you all." She ended it there with a snort. She hated that Bitch. She hated her for what she did to them. Damean, Legend and Exodus. She better stay out of Jabbar she thought darkly. She rubbed against Damean once more. "Damean Jager. I love you. We will rise out of the ashes like a phoenix and it will be a grand and glorious thing so don't doubt yourself my dark king.."

I'm a man of my CONVICTIONS--

Damean looked at Jaded with soft eyes. She spoke the very words he felt deep inside, only they were about her. Black throns pushed forward as she spoke about Leegnd, and rising from the ashes. "Just like before, when we first met" He smiled and nuzzled her roughly on the neck. "I'm excited for our future..." he sighed and licked her cheek a few times. "Now...I want to eat. Then sleep...or eat and take a scout, with Eris. The newest members of the pack should go with me. If you would stay with the others and keep an eye on the food cache?" He knew she would. She was a good alphaness. And with that though it struck a weird cord in his head. She was a leader with him. It kinda...bugged him. It was somewhat weird to know he was sharing the pack. No...this was his pack, and the pack was one big wolf in many bodies. This pack worked better as one, not as many. Damean smiled and stood, stepping away but not after giving her a nudge once more.

The king walked down the hill over to a dead beast. His teeth wrapped around the skin and pulled. Blood oozed out of the kill onto his paws and the hunger grew in his stomach. He was so hungry! He bent down and started to rip into the kill and he growled in a slight pleasure of getting sated with his hunger. His eyes shifted from wolf to wolf, a natural reaction to himself as alpha male. When his stomach was no longer growling he stood tall and looked around. Nose sniffed and he smelled no danger. The dark king stepped away and sat aside. "Eris eat up, you and I will be going for a walk while the others eat and store the rest of the meat in the cache" He nodded to her, hoping she'd pause from the digging and eat. He had words to speak with her, for walking with a new member would be better then letting her be alone within the pack. She was always off the side, he noticed that while the recent events went on.

Mind wandered over to the Legend problem. He wondered how things would go with that brute. What a pain...what a pain in the ass. And he was asking about Lilith. If the wench was in his lands he'd gladly let anyone kill her. She'd be dead before she could ask for any forgivness. His eyes flashed with the thoughts of seeing Jaded attack her. If she got hurt Damean would be pissed. And if she killed Lilith...oh the joy, he'd sing so all the packs could hear him. Eyes glanced back at the cache where they dug and it looked well enough done. No bear or cougar would dare get close. The storage unit was by the dens and his wolves would hear any danger or smell it before it crossed onto their lands. Then his mind snapped. He still had to go to Muerta. He sighed and let his eyes wander to Jaded. Oh...he felt bad.

.where the yellow brick road took a different turn. [Main Bo - Page 9 Eris210

Eris had seen what had happened and had paused from her digging to watch it unfold. A secret smile crept into her mind. Serves the arrogant brat right. She that vehemently. Though she did no delve her thoughts into matters further nor did she bother to accompany Legend's escort party. It was her place so she continued to dig, Jaded joined them but she made no comment to the dark queen, who for such a title was strangely emotional. Certainly this pack was not a normal set of dark wolves. Reclining on her haunches she watched Damean eat and was surprised when he addressed her. Telling her to eat she rose and pressing her foot on the carcass tore off a hunk of meat and quick downed it. Ripping off another small peice she walked after Damean and getting a few yards away she looked up to find her falcon perched as always in the trees.

Throwing the meat in the air it swooped down and it deadly accuracy grabbed it in its talons and flew away. Smiling she matched her pace to the king but said nothing waiting for him to engage the conversation. Her emerald orbs fell on the path in front of them.

She smiled and retruned his warmth with a few licks to his muzzle. He spoke of their future and it seemed as everything was coming into place. She was begining to feel more normal instead of the emotional wreck she felt she had been these last few months. She nodded her head at his lyrics which included hunger and going on a scout with Eris. She nodded and buried her head into his shoulder. "Very well my love." she said. "We will get this meet in the cache after we fill our bellies." His words had set her mind at ease. She hadn't even felt jealous that he was going with Eris alone. Jaded's tawny plume wagged softly after feeling his nudge and she followed Damean back to meal at hand.

She watched as the dark king tore into his meal, with a savagery that told all on lookers that the meat was his and his alone. Jaded was going to join him but she paused. She was still abit unsure of her newly bestowed ranking of Alphess. By rights she should be able to waltz right up there and take her piece of the prize but she waited until the bloodlust seemed to be off of her love. Floating over beside him she bent to the kill. The meat was bloody and raw and a delight to her pallet. Her stomach began to churn and growl to digest as soon as the meat hit it. Delicious. She ate until sated and then sighed with content.

She looked up and found Damean's gaze upon her she smiled wagging her plume, Eris was soon at his side and they would be off. Turning around she looked upon the scene she had spotted Akiko arrive and then settle over in some nearby trees. Turning to Rawbones she said "Well done on the digging my friend." and she began to pull the half eaten carcass into the hole. It didn't take much and it slid itself into the grounds gentle embrace. She looked up and smiled at Rawbones. "I will be right back to help with that moose." She then trotted off to where Akiko lay.

She made her presence known clearly when she padded up to the white vix. Then Jaded did something she didn't think she would have ever been brave enough to do. She approached Akiko and set down beside her so their pelts touched and then leaned over and kissed her forhead to comfort her. Jaded knew exactly what was going through her mind...because it had gone through hers too. Legend. Jaded didn't think words were needed and she hoped Akiko wouldn't take offense to Jaded trying to comfort her. She would let Akiko talk if she needed to and Jaded would listen. Akiko had helped her in the past and now it was Jaded's turn to try and return the favor.
